Although you do have to book ahead, it is perfect for me in that the booking process was so easy to navigate on their website. I found them as an option from SpaFinder and chose them because of the review here. I had a European facial and a brow wax from Bethany. She was really nice and professional. My skin felt great afterwards and was glowing. The place is small and quaint, very cozy and quiet inside. The receptionist helped me out so so much! I actually had a minor eye infection and had to be seen the day of my appointment, i called in the morning and she helped me out by asking her client to switch with me, something they didn't have to do but they did anyways! Yoga with Ava Tyler was quite a treat. For a limited time, while Vitality Spa is building, classes are being held at Lyme Art Association. So for me, an Art History And Media Arts Double Major, this was as good as it gets. Staring at paintings of a dappled impressionist floral on one side, a snow covered tree on the other was more than I could hope for. This isn't permanent though... So let's focus on the class. It was challenging! I like this! The instructor was quite engaged with us in guidance and corrections. A great reminder she kept asking us to follow her rather than look at our classmates. I definitely felt a lot of personalized attention directed at each student as she called out tips and also physically made adjustments. Ava- She is quite dynamic and her energy and general demeanor was inspiring. I loved her inspirational quote at the end of class. read more

Typically, when going for a facial I expect there'll be a fair amount of dialogue surrounding the condition of my skin (must drink more water) and my skin care regime (or what remains of it). And following the treatment, there's usually a customized collection of products recommended for purchase. I appreciate these details and often discover products that remain in my rotation. But recently, feeling worn out and mostly seeking a head and neck rub, I chose very carefully from Vitality's menu of services. The Prana Glow Facial had me at the mention of "Yoga for the Face". Drawing from Ayurvedic practices, the Prana Glow Facial uses Marma point massage helping to move energy around and stimulate Prana (or life force) while enhancing lymphatic drainage. They use one of my all-time favorite Ayurvedic and local skin care lines for this treatment, Solavedi Organics, ensuring the purest of organic herbs and botanicals. My gentle, welcoming practitioner, Bethany, started out my treatment with Honey Blossom Cleanser and Urban Revival Toner, followed by an elixir of vitamin A and C for the facial massage while the sounds of nature played softly in the background. During the long and blissful neck, shoulder and decollete massage featuring the heavenly scented Carrot Rose Oil, I nearly drifted off. There was a dreamy foot massage, too, using yet another Solavedi keeper, Foot Bliss Balm with basil, peppermint, and kaffir lime leaf. Bethany was so fluid and peaceful that I actually had to remind myself that there was someone in the room besides me. She used a cooling Jade roller that stimulates facial meridians to carefully bring me back. I practically swam out of there, drenched in those gorgeous Solavedi products and half asleep from the pampering and silence.I was glad there was no decision-making on which products to buy. I sat out front for a few minutes in my car, not entirely sure I should be driving. This 50-minute treatment is $95. Vitality Spa is excellent, and in a great spot right on Lyme St. Great vibe inside, all white and very clean. I'm a bit hesitant about the 5-stars because it's a bit barebones (no waiting room and no relaxation room) but everyone there is very nice and attentive. I just had an amazing massage at Vitality Spa which has left me feeling relaxed yet rejuvenated. I received their Signature Massage which was tailored to exactly what I needed. I'm not a fan of deep tissue being done all over my body but was able to get a bit of deep tissue work in the areas that I most needed it which is what I loved most about this particular massage.
