I can't say enough excellent things about my experience at Essence. After two long years without a…read morehaircut (thanks, pandemic) I was searching for a new place and a chance to cut off my hair again. Liz took all of my requests into consideration and gave me an absolutely wonderful haircut (not an easy thing to do considering how thick my hair is and how long it had grown.) More than that, she was incredibly kind and made me feel well taken care of throughout my appointment. All of the staff that I interacted with were warm and professional. Everyone was also very careful and aware of COVID protocols, which to me was an added bonus. The only negative for me going in was the cost (a bit pricier than what I can afford since I'm still in school) but honestly... I really think it was completely worth it. If you're looking for a professional establishment and someone who knows how to give a short women's haircut, go to Essence and ask for Liz. You will not be disappointed!
