I researched how to get there, as some have complained they could not find it. I walked into the building, and the security staff told me to go to floor 15. I walked into the office and checked in at the kiosk answering a few simple questions. I get a bit uneasy about having my blood drawn, but Tiffany was wonderful. She had such a calm and reassuring voice. She told me everything that that we would be doing and took extra care as she drew my blood. Before I knew it, it was done. Tiffany made sure I was feeling okay before letting me know how and when I should expect my results. She was really fantastic! I had a great experience here and recommend it. For peace of mind, do a basic search of the address so you can get familiar with where you are going. It helped for me. :)

But I can also see the reason why there's no such thing. May just be an abnormally busy day... At about 1:10, I got called for my appointment. It was smooth after that. I was in-and-out pretty quickly and there was only a few people waiting then. Don't come here unless you have an appointment.

Why not just have people wait in line to speak to the second person rather than this redundant process? And for the first desk you have to stop at, there's a sign saying to stay back for privacy sake... but then when I got to that desk I had to give my name and DOB whilst standing almost shoulder to shoulder with another patient, so no privacy there.

I was informed of this being an option. The doctor just sends the order electronically or by email and I use the app to schedule an appointment. It's by appointment only to my knowledge. I have come to this location about three times so far. Most times have been seamless. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There was only one time I had a phlebotomist who was nasty and unfriendly. We kept butting heads. I don't think she's there any longer. I'm not sure why many of the other reviews have low ratings of this facility. When I go now, I make sure to ask for Shakelia, she is always GREAT! I'm in and out where I can go about the rest of my day. Thank you Quest Diagnostics for being my life saver!

I received a flyer from Northwestern Lasik Physicians for a free LASIK consultation at the…read moreNorthwestern Medical Faculty Foundation on the 15th floor. Since it was free, and I had considered Lasik before, I thought this would be a great time to get my eyes checked out to see if this was a procedure for me. My appointment was at 5pm, which was the latest appointment of the date for Dr. Basti. The eye technician had promptly called me in to do the preliminary tests. There were a few issues I had while I was with her, which were: 1. I had to ask her to wipe down the chin and forehead areas of the machine 2. I was relocated to three different rooms because she said she was "stealing" rooms. This left me very uncomfortable because I had left my jacket and other items unattended in these rooms (thinking the room was exclusively reserved for me during my appointment) Again, my appointment was at 5pm. I was finished with the technician by 5:20pm. I had waited and waited for the doctor (unable to see because I was instructed to take my contacts out). By 5:55pm, the doctor stops by my room, apologizes, and tells me that he'll be another 10 to 15 max. As he leaves my room, he walks another patient into the room next to me. All the while, another patient in the room across from me is waiting as well. As I was supposedly the last appointment, it appeared there were two other people AHEAD of me. It was looking like I'd have to wait till 7pm to see the doctor. Frustrated, I left the office at 6:15pm. I was going to explain to the receptionist that I just couldn't wait and needed to leave. But everyone that worked at this office had already left for the day. It wasn't until 6:40pm that I received a call from Dr. Basti apologizing for the wait and explaining that it was an unusually busy day. Then he shifted the blame to his technician telling me that he assumed I was already selected as a candidate for Lasik and thought the technician had dilated my eyes. He said he wanted to give my eyes the full 30 minutes to dilate and thats why he attended to other patients before seeing me. As a patient, I was already upset I had to wait so long to see the eye doctor. To hear that Dr. Basti and his technician couldn't communicate well enough during a consultation worried me to the point that I wouldn't want to pay thousands of dollars to get my eyes messed up and in the end have them tell me "Oh sorry, I misunderstood". Any miscommunications while under the laser is not worth it to me. With so many businesses out there that do the Lasik procedure, first impressions is key. This visit left me with a very bad impression.
