If you want an exercise that kicks your butt and leaves you very sweaty at the end of the class then Viv Cycle will do it. Friday (11/14/25) was my very first class with Viv and I was interested in trying a spin class for the first time. Traffic was very bad trying to get there for a class at 4:30pm, but I made it on time. I did notice they have a very strict entrance policy if you are late, the doors lock and you cannot attend class. I thought that was intense; which made me think of how it was when I was in college and if you were late to class. I was getting a little panicked since traffic was really bad but I made it like 6 mins before class. . . Anyway, when I got there the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and greeted me with a smile. They gave me a free pair of shoes since it was my first time which was nice (shoes are $3.00 to rent by the way). Then after I placed my items in a locker one of the ladies lead me to my bike and then fixed my bike to my height, and snapped my cycle shoes in place. She also went over the bike features (the tension knob etc). I thought this was really great customer service and a cool experience. I recommend Viv Cycle to those who love to ride. read more

Easily a 5 star rating. I popped in for a community ride with Paige on a Saturday morning and the energy was everything! Paige was amazing, gave amazing encouragement, and really drove the class energy by engaging with the class. As an experienced rider, choreo was approachable, yet still challenging. I could tell everyone was excited to be there too because the class energy was on fire. The staff were really nice and welcoming. They asked questions nicely to make sure I was comfortable with the bike I chose. They have cute encouraging notes in the lockers. Bikes have a good amount of room for adjustments and they have a light on each of them that glows once you're pedaling. They also set up every bike with a towel and weights to make it easy for riders to clip in and be ready. I can't wait to go back! read more

It saddens me to have to write this but it was highly unprofessional and I've been doing group fitness for years and I felt like I had walked in to a protest or riot more than anything. It's supposed to be fun, inclusive and where people can escape the outside world. The negativity should be left at the door, so people can enjoy the class and not have all the negativity brought into the bike room. And it's unfortunate that I went to a place to try and escape everything that's going on and enjoy the class and it had nothing but a political undertone which is 100% what group fitness is NOT supposed to be. We should be able to enjoy it. I have never been more disappointed in a cycle studio. Please do better read more

This has to be the best fitness studio in Denver! Viv Cycle is located right in the heart of RiNo. This place is known for their cycle classes but they also offer yoga and strength classes. The vibe right when you walk into their doors is absolutely electric. The instructors and front desk workers are so inviting and welcoming. The cycle classes are extremely upbeat and the music is great. This studio is 100% woman owned and a local business to Denver. The best fitness studio in Denver, hands down! Everyone is so kind and friendly, which made being a new rider last year so much more welcoming! The instructors are so encouraging and motivating, and not to mention the music is incredible. There's so many things I love about the studio aside from the community, but there's showers (if you have to go to work after a morning class), parking validation, HIIT classes, yoga, Pilates, etc. Truly such a special place! read more

I wasn't a fan. I'm a punctual person, yet my first paid class, despite arriving 10 minutes early I was 4 minutes late. There was a ton of construction and no on-street parking despite circling multiple times. Because of the construction I could not figure out how to get into the garage. I was really looking forward to a workout and did everything right. Yeah. But by the time I got into the garage and literally ran to the door I was one minute late. They have a 3 minute policy and do not budge. I was greeted at the door by them cracking the door (Three of them standing at the door) to tell me sorry I was late and I couldn't come in and then shutting the door on me. I left my water bottle during my first trial class and didn't even have a chance to ask them if I could retrieve it. So I had no work out, I lost all of the money that I spent on the class and an additional $20 for no show. Classy. I have since been to two other studios who have much more liberal policies. Because I'm rarely late I haven't had to put them to the test until recently (and I go about four times a week) when I got caught in downtown traffic and arrived 5 minutes late to my newest studio. I was sure they were going to turn me away. Instead they cheered me on while getting my shoes on, gave me a complimentary bottle of water because I was so flustered I left my water bottle in the car, and escorted me in with a dim flashlight to help me get set up. I felt so welcomed and the stress of being late peeled right off. I'm being pretty liberal with my stars because I know that there are some people that love things about Viv that I personally found a turn off. If you like hooping and hollering, spinning your towel, and high- fiving your neighbor repeatedly, this place is great. I'm all for expressing appreciation with an occasional "whoop" but the pressure to stay vocal is unreal. It's a large studio with a lot of bikes. And the bummer If you are not "vibing" is to have an instructor that screams out every few minutes, "are you vibing?". Yes, that's the vibe there. Additionally I don't mind some f-bombs and I'm quite used to that having had memberships at five different studios in Denver. But the overuse is unreal and kind of boring but I guess it's part of the vibe. I appreciate that there's something for everyone in the community and I'm not out to bring down a community business that just isn't for me thus the extra two stars added to my review. But my honest review is that this studio is probably great for a lot of people but not for everyone. If you are like me and like a more down to earth experience, High Ride and Star Cyclemay be better options. read more

When you pay 22 bucks a class & your alarm doesn't go off the manager Heather plays the "oh that's our policy" we're a small business well class cancellation policy is 8pm the night before & when you sign up for the class @ 530am same day but fell back asleep waiting to go & they don't make an exception considering you just signed up! I did tell her it was bs with all the words cause it is!! I'm huge on supporting small business; that's all i try to do, BUT not when they operate like that! You get one grace in your history at the studio!!!!! She told me i already had a few, you get one discount class that class was my first time to studio i planned ample time to find the place & parking but was new to area & couldn't figure it out put my flashers on the walked in studio & i asked if i could come to the next class..they never said anything about exceptions. The next class was a free class they offered they told me the last time i could park in a garage next time & told me it was around the corner but with all the construction i couldn't find it i came in asked her where it was at & if we should move me to the next class since the current one was about to start & I'll go figure it out where the garage is. Never said anything about exceptions & moved me to next class.. All that was great, i appreciated them doing that! Then i purchased a trial membership got sick & it was around covid time so didn't wanna go get anyone else sick just in case. I called & told them i was sick but interested in buying an unlimited membership and wanted to try all the teachers & make sure it worked with my schedule before i committed to 260/month. They told me they were a small business "that's our policy" They would rather have me come get patrons sick or lose my trial.. not a smart decision for a small business. A good small business would think about the long term & health of there patrons. Save your money, the studio is decent but parking and policies are awful. Most people support small business cause you develop a personal relationship & they are more likely to understand circumstances but this small business acts like they are corporate. read more

Such an excellent spin studio! Classes - great choreography, encouraging vibes, challenging (but also customizable if you need to sit etc). Music is fun (only rarely is too loud). All the instructors are amazing! There's a big mirror, bikes that light up when the bike wheel starts going, and room lights that change color which adds to the vibes in the dark room. Staff - everyone is super friendly and fun! Facilities - bikes are in great condition, clean, consistently well oiled. Showers and body products available in case you need to go to work or elsewhere after class. Lockers with custom temporary codes. Merch - very fun and cute styling Price - in line with most spin studios in the area and packages are available to get it cheaper by the class. App - available to reserve classes in advance for the week ahead on Sundays, including booking your favorite bike! They also offer stretch and yoga; I'm yet to try those, but hopefully soon! read more

My favorite spin studio in Denver by far! The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to learn everyone's name and make them feel welcome. The studio itself is very clean and modern. There are plenty lockers with built in combination locks. The bathroom and shower area is beautiful and stocked with high end products. They have a great spin room with top of the line bikes as well as a stretch room where yoga, strength and Pilates classes are held. The spin classes are so fun with good music and high energy instructors. The class time flys by since it feels like you're at a dance party on a bike. Their unlimited membership has some great partnerships with other gyms so you can switch up your workout routine with Pilates and hiit classes in addition to spin. Highly recommend! read more

Viv Cycle is hands-down the greatest fitness studio, not only spin studio, I have been to. And I've tried A LOT. From nationally-recognized yoga studios to small neighborhood pilates spots, I have never found anything near the caliber of Viv. From the moment you walk in it feels different. The studio is trendy, chic, and clean. Ann, the owner, is a ray of sunshine and makes a point to know you even from your very first day. The rest of staff is just as stellar. I've cycled with all four current instructors. (Plus a yoga instructor too! More info on that below.) All are unbelievable riders and have the most infectious personalities both in and out of the studio. I've cycled with the two lead instructors most often, Nadine and Sophia. They are high energy, bring new and challenging moves to each class, and radiate positivity. They have so much passion, will push you to your limits and you'll be better each time for it. They get to know you, watch, and aid in your progress In and out of the studio. Warning: you'll want to be their best friends. I've ridden with the other instructors much less, but they are just as amazing! Emily brings unique moves and challenges you with resistance. I surprise myself with how strong I can be each time I ride with her because she pulls that confidence out of you. Berkeley is the newest instructor and I look forward to more rides with her. She has the most fun themed rides and her playlists are stellar. She brings the party to the studio and has the skills to match! They also have started another class offering which is a yoga class similar to a Sculpt format from a nationally-known yoga studio. It's led by Kellie. She has a background teaching that type of class at yoga studios and is such a great addition to the team. Her classes are hard, she is so great, and the value-add to have the opportunity for a weighted yoga class in addition to cycle for the standard membership price is HUGE! Viv is easy to fit into your daily routine because of their insane space, complete with stretch room, several bathrooms, vanity mirrors, fusion hairdryers, deodorant, sport sprays, etc. Other things to note: --They use an app for scheduling that is simple and easy to use. --Generally is a younger crowd, 20-30's. Don't feel limited, there are plenty riders of all ages but worth considering in terms of culture fit. --There's usually anywhere from 4-9 classes per day, plenty of options. I was lucky enough to be able to try Viv Cycle on the very first day they were open to the public! They're located on the first level of the Hub, which I believe is a co-working space. I found street parking a block and a half away, although if I'm not mistaken, they do validate parking in the Hub's garage. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous - definitely Instagram-worthy with modern, clean lines. It is very airy & open as well. There is also ample space in which to move around, which is different from the cramped setup of many other cycling studios! Their bathrooms are spotless and I appreciated that there is a vanity area outside of them with mirrors, blow dryers, hair ties, dry shampoo, and other nice amenities that one may need before or after a cycling class. The actual class was great as well. I thought the instructor seemed remarkably confident and well-organized despite it being the opening day of the studio. She played awesome music - a few Top 40 songs but some lesser-known ones as well. All of the music was upbeat and energetic, which is key for me when I'm doing cardio. I especially appreciated that the bikes had monitors, which tracked my time, mileage, watts, RPMs, and calories burned throughout my ride. However, I noticed that for the majority of the class, the lights in the studio were off and the monitors were not backlit. I suspect that Viv is trying to strike a balance between studios like SoulCycle, who do not use monitors or technology at all, and others such as Flywheel, which uses a performance board so that riders can see their class standing in real time as well as their individual stats on the lit monitors. Even though I am a numbers geek, it was a welcome change. I got an email after class with a recap of my stats, but I was able to focus more on how my resistance and speed felt during the class rather than obsessing about my numbers or overall class standing. Viv is definitely a welcome new addition to the Denver indoor cycling scene. I like that they are locally owned and that by going there, I am supporting a local business. I also like that they appear to be inspired by strong elements of other studios while ironing out the kinks, improving upon some weaknesses, and making it their own. I've been coming to Viv cycle for a month now and i'm hooked! What sets this studio apart for me is the staff & the beat-focused classes. You tune into the music & your body instead of being driven by a bright screen of numbers (stats are emailed after class if ur into that). the instructor makes it fun/helps you catch the beat, and personally I leave classes feeling stronger & energized. i suggest nadine/emily/sophia for a first time, but they are all great!! okkk but the team of girls here are so welcoming and will make you excited to come back. really building a community!! read more

I have been going to Viv Cycle since their original grand opening and this place is the real deal. As a local female-owned-and-operated place, you can tell they have taken great pride in what they are doing here. The studio is clean and inviting, with ample lockers, showers and restrooms. The front desk is always staffed by multiple ladies who are eager to welcome you and assist any new riders with bike set-up or free loaner shoes. Rides are beat-based (my favorite) with choreography that makes riding a "bike going nowhere" fun and challenging. They have made sure the experience offers something for every type of client. If you're a person who needs metrics, they record the details from your ride and send it to you in an email after class, so you don't have to focus on numbers during your ride, but can still track your effort. If you're into good music during your workout, they definitely have you taken care of. If you're into weights, there's a short section of that too. Need some motivation or time to focus on you and not have an instructor guiding you the entire way? There's a dedicated song each class for that purpose specifically. Need to stretch out after class? There's a beautiful stretch room you can take full advantage of. If you like the social scene associated with group work-out classes, they have give-aways (this month they're giving away a beautiful bicycle) and post-class happy hour each week. I am by no means a work-out junkie or an athlete, but I have taken a few spin classes at other studios and never really cared for it until I came here. The reason: the people who work here. Every instructor I've had is AMAZING! They all have their own unique style, which is consistently motivationally-driven and high energy. You can tell after your first experience that these ladies are tight-knit family and they love what they do. They attend each others' classes and promote each other - and they want each client to be part of the family too. It's contagious! Not to mention, the instructors are crazy athletic. When I find myself having a hard time keeping up, they're talking and crushing the choreography, working just as hard as every person in the class. At other studios, I've been slightly intimated by this, but I have never felt like that at Viv because they create an atmosphere where you are part of it, the class moving as a whole to the beat of the music. After class, they check in with you to see how your ride was - what you liked and what needs changing, always trying to improve. Each woman is genuine and authentic, making sure people are having a blast, are being challenged and are avoiding injury. The owner, Ann, has done a fantastic job putting it all together - between the instructors, creating a beautiful studio and fostering an environment that is inviting and energizing. It's easy to see why after a few rides, you get hooked! love this studio - beautiful space, high energy, good vibes. I've been going there for a few weeks now and thoroughly enjoy each class. Each instructor has their own style and I got a great workout each time. I love that they focus on beats during the workout but the studio was able to give me stats (through email) after class so I can track my progress. You are also treated to an eucalyptus scented cooling towel after each class :) And let's not forget the stretch room where you can spend more time stretching after class.
