I had some time to kill and thought I could find a nice shirt or something. When I first walked it, I was a little overwhelmed by color and the 1990's pop music blaring through the speakers (think Destiny's Child and Britney Spears). It was a little off putting, especially seeing teenagers inside browsing who had probably weren't even born when Britney was popular. However, I saw the clearance section and like a moth to a flame wandered back. Clothing ranged from $3-9 and I found a few to try on. The fitting rooms were nice, with plenty of hanging space and a nice mirror. After choosing my few items, I went to wait in line. There were two cashiers, each with a customer and two other customers in front of me. Let's just say it would have been quicker to watch paint dry. It was agonizing. One of the cashiers was really friendly and kept telling her customer she could get these tank tops for $1 and guilted her into buying more tops. So the customer would wander off, grab some shirts and come back. When that customer finally paid and left, the same thing happened to the next customer. Argh! It was super frustrating waiting in line for what should have been really quick to check out. I can't say I'm surprised this store was closing. I would not come back, even though some of the tops were cute. It just wasn't worth it!

Rikki was the girl who was working the store when I visited. I was on vacation and literally all of my jeans were falling off me. I know, tough problem. But in reality it kinda sucks. I hate clothes shopping...yup I do. Am I the only female who does not truly enjoy clothes shopping? Anyway, enter Rikki. I had grabbed a few jeans to try on and she set up a fitting room and asked me what I was looking for. I told her. I also told her specific issues I have bc my legs are fairly long. She suggested which of the jeans I had picked were most likely to fit best. I tried them, but wasn't thrilled. I didn't even know what size I was anymore, so nothing was perfect. She grabbed several different styles and lengths and brought them to me. Then she brought more, and then more. My best friend was with me, so I was able to get a good second opinion. Rikki was so full of personality & seemed to truly love her job. It turned into a fun shopping experience, not one full of dread. Because seriously, does anyone really like trying on jeans? Anyway, I ended up with the perfect jeans and I actually really really really like them. They fit perfect, and I do mean perfect. That never happens. And she even applied unexpected, but appreciated coupons when I checked out. Yippee!
