They were able to remove the fence in order for their equipment to come through AND put it back together afterwards. This included digging and pulling a post out of the ground and putting it back in place afterwards. They were very careful with their work and knew just where to cut and segment the tree into portions and lowered each one down to the ground without destroying anything. They were also able to grind the stump and any other exposed roots down into the ground, and were helpful in cleaning up the debris and soil in their work area. They were quick, too, arriving promptly and finishing before end of day. For a job as big as this, we are totally impressed and highly recommend them for your tree services. They were very reasonably priced, too.

Sean was extremely knowledgeable and personable, as was his team as they proceeded to take all precautions to not cause any damage to my driveway and landscaping. Once they started it was like watching a well worn machine operate. Each worker knew their job, and it was a pleasure to watch! A couple of hours later, the tree was gone, and they too were gone and they left everything as if if they were never there. This is an outstanding company from Mary Anne who takes the phone calls to every worker, and I recommend them highly!!

The man who represented the company (Lars) knew every tree name and made great recommendations, When the crew arrived, they were perplexed and didn't know where or what forsythia bushes were, then when I showed them my oriental dwarf maples, they didn't have a clue how to shape them. He called Lars and was given things to say to me , like it's a personal preference how to shape an ornamental tree. Incidentally the tree was already done shaped however overgrown about. Next the worker started to tell me that the original plan to cut a branch above the weeping cherry was wrong, and 10 branches needed to be cut. At this point, I realized that I was dealing with nonprofessionals. Not Arborists. When I called Lars he said he would stop over but was not going to stay to supervise the job. It was prudent to stop any work before it got started because the company was misleading . Do not hire

We hired A&H Tree Service based on a neighbor's referral to remove a few branches from a large tree…read morein our yard. They did remove the branches--and maybe one more than expected--but overall, the work itself was fine, and they cleaned up the debris. That said, the customer experience left a lot to be desired. Communication was lacking throughout, except when they repeatedly followed up for the deposit. They didn't tell us in advance that our driveway and front street needed to be clear for their truck, so my partner had to rush home from work to move the car. After the job, no photos were shared, and when I asked about the price and 3% credit card fee, they pointed to the contract. Fair enough--but it would've been helpful if they had mentioned that upfront. I offered to send cash or a check to avoid the surcharge, but they said credit card is now the only accepted method. Between the lack of communication and inflexibility, I wouldn't recommend them based on customer service alone. Hopefully the residue left on our vinyl fence comes off with a hose.

So why didn't A & H's team show up until closer to ten? "They're coming, don't worry." Easy for him not to worry; I'm the one paying. When I asked Javier about it, "don't worry, you'll get reimbursed back for the time." -Never happened. Never saw a dime of that back. 2.-A year later, needed to get the remainder of the stump ground down. They wouldn't commit to a day or time, or time frame. Told me they'd give me notice. They texted me an hour before. I wasn't home. Did they grind it? -Hardly. They were there and left within 45 minutes, and lo and behold, the stump was not ground sufficiently. 3. We had to have them come back, further cost, and at no point do they EVER remove the mulch. So this is just cost upon cost. And yet again, no communication. 4. At no point do they communicate clearly. Javier seems bothered, constantly. People are dropping thousands of dollars for services, and he seems annoyed, quite frankly. Would leave messages, for about 2 weeks continuously getting told someone would call back. -I'd wait a few days, no call back. The most frustrating experience.
