She coordinated planning primarily via email during busy hours and even scheduled the pressure washing while I was out of the country, so the project could keep moving. Project Manager - Jordan Pierce Jordan provided thorough walkthroughs both before and after the job, keeping me updated with frequent photo and video updates as the work progressed. During the final walkthrough, he proactively identified a few additional areas that needed touch-ups. Some items discussed in the initial walkthrough had to be reiterated to the painting crew at the final walkthrough, but everything was handled quickly once re-communicated. Hiring contractors to work on your home is incredibly stressful. I've seen too many people get scammed by contractors that take their money and run. I was very cautious and diligent researching every contractor that I attempted to work with. There were many that ghosted me or quoted me insane prices. I'm very happy to say that Vivax Pros worked very hard to earn my trust and positive review. 1) They don't require a deposit for the work. Payment is due at the end when you are completely satisfied with the work. 2) There is no fee to pay with a credit card. 3) They are very clear up front with the quote, the quality of work, and what the quote includes and does not. 4) They have no problem showing you a copy of their updated insurance to work on your property. 5) They have a very clear professional history of doing the same work in Colorado. While they are new to Texas, their reputation in CO stands firm. 6) I'm very grateful for my project manager (Spencer) and the head of the crew (Israel). I did not realize how many micro-decisions come up during the process and during the actual work. There were so many things that affected these decisions and some couldn't be figured out until some of the work was done. Spencer and Israel were incredibly patient and flexible with me. They showed and explained all the options, worked with me when things changed, and ensured that all touch ups and clean up were done well. I'm very satisfied with the quality of work. The paint job, woodwork, and new gutters add to the value of my home and will make it that much easier to sell and pass an inspection. Could I have done it myself or hired someone cheaper? Sure, but you get what you pay for. There's no way I could have done this job so darn well and I wouldn't want to risk a cheaper contractor walking off the job. When you make an investment in anything in your life - car - stocks - marriage - it all requires maintenance. A kind of hidden - ongoing recurring cost. Your home is like that. We have a new home - about 5 years old and I was considering doing exterior work - nothing major - repainting the shutters - places where the builder grade paint had become sun damaged and revealed bare wood. Not much I thought - but it seemed daunting because to do one piece of the house meant do others because the new paint wouldn't match the old paint and the pitch on Texas roofs became something I didn't want to tackle. Then my doorbell rang and outside was a Vivax rep asking me about painting - perfect timing! I was thinking - yes but no. But how was I to know without a quote? Arranged for a quote - it was actually educational and worthwhile to get an outside opinion. Pricing was great and flexible. Get this - next day - supplies showed up - next day - her crew shows and if it hadn't been for these May rains they would have been done in a day!!! I met with 5 contractors for estimates and the one from Vivax was by far the most detailed, comprehensive, providing a very clear understanding of what they would do. I went with them in part because I felt most confident they would do all of the work right. My project manager, Jordan, went above and beyond in every way to ensure I am happy with the work. Throughout he communicated fully & timely, listened to my input, offered great ideas when I asked, addressed many gnarly details that he or I noticed needed attention, even at night and over the weekend. Would repeat. They said what they would do , then did it. During the sales cycles, they were not pushy. When we delayed, they said 'no problem, you get back to us when you are ready'. Once we got started again, the project coordinator (Michael) was patient and handled all the scheduling. Once we had our project manager (Jordan), things really came together. He's a rock star and made the entire experience great. He took care of everything. He met with me for a final planning session and reviewed all the estimates. He walked me through exactly what the team would be doing and when. I was concerned about the repair work and surprise costs, but I had no reason to worry. Jordan handled everything like a true partner. During the prep and painting he stayed in contact with us to make sure we were happy. We wanted a specific color for our door, but could only provide a picture. Jordan arrived and painted two parts of the door two colors and let me choose. When the work was done we did a walk through to ensure nothing was missed. The only touchup required was where I had put some holes in a door frame and they did not want to repair the holes without my permission. The holes were patched and painted in minutes and you cannot tell they were there. Jordan even let me know some of the originally estimated repairs were not needed, so my final price was lower than the quote. It was not until I said I was fully satisfied that they asked for money. We don't normally use services that knock on our door, but VIVAX PROS made such a professional presentation to us that we checked them out and decided to have them paint our house - the whole exterior. It's a difficult job because of the way our house is situated on a steep hill. After special ordering a super-tall extension ladder (30 feet, if memory serves), the job was begun. But wait! We needed approval from our HOA to change the color palette slightly. That process was painfully slow and I could not figure out how to cram our job into the required work form. The lovely NIKKI BUCK shepherded our job through the process and finally we got an enthusiastic approval from the HOA. Long story short: The house looks great! The work crew was polite and did a fine job. VIVAX PROS does not ask for payment until the job is done to your satisfaction. Further more, they will come back to do any tweaks or touch-ups without complaint. We have never worked with a company that deferred payment until the completion of the job. Amazing! We worked with Amber Powers, Rachel Todd, and Nikki Buck. All three were great, but especially Nikki who kept in touch throughout the job and was always responsive and cheerful when I contacted her. Highly recommend. They aren't cheap, but the price was in line with other estimates we had gotten. Great paint job by Vivax Pros. Normally I paint my own house, but after painting it twice in the past 30 years I decided I am too old to be scrambling up the side of the house so I had been looking to hire someone to do the painting this time. My neighbor used Vivax Pros and was very pleased with their work. After doing some homework on the internet I found they had many great reviews. Usually I am suspicious of so many positive reviews but my neighbor confirmed that Vivax did a great job for them. As part of the process, Vivax documents what they are going to do and then they proceed to do the work. One thing I really appreciated is they did not require a deposit, hence I never had worries about the company completing the job - they wouldn't be paid until it was done. And they did exactly what they said they would do. In the past, I have gotten at least 15 years out of my own paint jobs. I attribute this to using premium paint and applying two coats of paint. With Vivax I purchased their "9 year warranty" package which uses a premium paint and includes a 2nd coat of paint. The main attraction was the two coats of paint although the 9 year warranty was interesting. Based on my past experience, I am expecting this paint job to last 15 years as well. Highly recommend Vivax Pros Painting. Like others have stated, I was initially introduced by door-to-door sales. Jason was very professional, not at all hard sales. I was not necessarily ready to have our house repainted but accepted a bid. The bid is very thorough and detailed on their tablet and emailed to you with photos of potential repairs that you may or not accept all repairs. The bid was good enough that my wife agreed to get our house updated with new colors. I was then contacted by our scheduler Rachel. Next I was contacted by our project manager Nikki. Each team member was very professional, great with communication throughout the project, even getting photos sent of the process throughout each day. Nikki's painting team, Javier and his ATX Team were the nicest people. My wife had a few details that she asked if they could paint something that was not included in the bid and the answer was always yes. Nikki and Javier came back for a walk through after the project was finished another day. We did not pay anything until the walkthrough was completed. I have referred them to my neighbors as we had such a great experience, and their work is guaranteed even if you replace your garage door, they will come out and paint as warranty work, unheard of. Beginning with Trey Wilson, the Project Planner, he communicated all details and options thoroughly. He consistently sent video updates of each phase involved - caulking and prepping, to paint application around the house. There aren't enough words to voice our happiness over Hayden & his team with Vivax! Our house is 16 years old & we had some decorative wood that needed addressing as well as our front porch, it was awful! The porch is my favorite part to look at now, it's incredible & like a brand new home! The most difficult part of the process was us choosing our paint colors. Everything after color selection felt seamless. We had an initial walk around with Hayden to go over all that needed to be done & what paint choices would go where. He told us the steps that would be taken & gave us a timeframe, which was less than I anticipated. The guys started work & then would provide periodic video & pictures of progress throughout the job - this was very cool to see. Once the house was finished, Hayden came out to walk around again & touch up any areas we pointed out or that he noticed himself. He reminded us of our warranty & reassured me that I can reach out if there's anything that needs to be fixed/touched up. The company was also patient with us as we waited for HOA approval & to get new doors installed. I know it's good business but it was nice to not feel pressured. I worked with Samantha who was very friendly and estimated the jobs. Her estimate was very thorough and involved many photos. She also did a nice job of explaining the process and the various options. The estimate ended up being very accurate. I worked with Rachel in their office who helped get things scheduled and coordinated. Again, very friendly and professional. My project manager was Spencer who was very responsive, friendly, and a real pro. He kept the overall project moving and made sure things were on schedule. He was able to explain each stage of the work which involved wood repair, gutters, and multiple coats of paint. He walked the site with me to explain what was going to happen all through the project. My foreman was Israel who was able to answer any on the spot questions. His team worked very hard and were super efficient. He also went along for our final walk through and addressed the small number of touch ups that were needed. In fact, he was the one who identified most of the items because I didn't even notice them.
