My company asked me to reach out and have the property inspected, especially after we had a previous roofing company misquote us and fail to do the work properly. Lior, the owner, personally came out to inspect the roof, and I can't say enough about how helpful and honest he was. After feeling like we had been taken advantage of by the previous company, it was such a relief to have someone take the time to thoroughly look at the situation and give us an honest assessment. What stood out to me most was his integrity. It's hard to find people you can truly trust, especially when dealing with costly repairs and situations where you don't always know who is giving you the right information. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, helpful, and, most importantly, honest, I would definitely recommend Tip Top Roofing. Lior gave us peace of mind, and that alone is priceless!

From the beginning to the end, customer service was impeccable. The crew thoroughly cleaned up every day and worked hard. I got multiple quotes, and chose to hire CopperWest Roofing. Here's why. First, CopperWest Roofing is not some big roofing company with lots of overhead, where you're just another job. They're a family-owned, local small business, and the owner, Jordon, is actually out there on the job, hustling every single day making sure everything is going smoothly. If you have a question, you just ask Jordon. He gives you his cell number and tells you to call or text him anytime if you have questions, comments, or concerns. Direct access to the owner, that kind of service is pretty rare these days. I also liked that they're not trying to impress people with a bunch of flashy trucks or a huge sales pitch that you end up paying extra money for. It's just an honest, hands-on, owner-run business that takes pride in doing quality work and treating people right. His business obviously runs on his reputation, and word of mouth recommendations, and I definitely recommend giving him a call, or send him a note through the website. The roof looks great, the crew cleaned up before they left every day, the communication was excellent, and the whole process was stress-free. If you're looking for a roofing company that works hard, cares about the work they do and their customers satisfaction, I'd definitely recommend CopperWest Roofing.

I requested a change to the underlayment, which Jordon indicated was no problem and verbally let me know what the price difference would be but did take a little bit to get the official updated quote. Materials arrived on time and on schedule (tbh, I was worried that they weren't going to be). Work started promptly on time, and while the crew did work full days, they ran over by about a half day (luckily we weren't in any kind of rush). Workers cleaned up daily and pretty thoroughly at completion. While I do wish there was a little more communication regarding updates to the project, I would definitely use this company again.

From the moment I sent a text message, Leigh responded right away--professional, clear, and incredibly efficient. She had me scheduled for an inspection within minutes. We never even spoke over the phone, yet her communication and customer service were top-notch. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the appointment the day before. A full refund was processed immediately--no questions asked. Leigh was so understanding and accommodating of our situation, which left a lasting impression. Fortunately the following week, I was able to reschedule and once again, Leigh made it happen seamlessly. Our assigned inspector Marc Freislinger came out on a Sunday, arriving early and already working when we got there. He was friendly, thorough, and easy to talk to. During the review, he walked us through everything clearly and even offered valuable advice on what to ask the builder regarding repairs. That same evening, he sent a detailed inspection report--complete with clear photos and notes--just as promised. I can't recommend Desert State Home Inspections highly enough. Their professionalism, honesty, and genuine care for their clients truly set them apart. Their pricing is very fair compared to other companies, and they even offer a $100 discount if you use them again before your one-year builder walk through. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and customer-focused inspection company, Desert State Home Inspections absolutely deserves your business. They certainly have mine for years to come. Thanks again Leigh & Marc!

I hired Advantage Inspection Service for a home inspection on a property in Mesa, AZ and paid over $1,300 expecting a thorough and accurate evaluation. Unfortunately, the inspection completely understated a very obvious issue with the patio roof. At the time of inspection, the patio ceiling when you walk out onto the patio had visible sagging and clear signs of prior water damage, including patched and freshly painted drywall underneath. These were not hidden defects they were observable conditions. However, the inspection report described the ROOF as being in "near satisfactory condition" with a general "review" recommendation. NO documentation on the visible damage of the ceiling. That wording makes it sound like a minor or precautionary item, not something that could turn into a costly repair. Based on that report, I moved forward with the purchase. After closing, I had multiple professionals look at it and they all immediately pointed out the same thing. That this was a significant issue that should have been clearly identified during the inspection. What made things worse was the way the company handled it afterward. I had to repeatedly follow up just to get responses, calls weren't returned, and it took about two weeks to get a formal reply. The supervisor, Ryan Peart, ultimately relied on the "review" language in the report to avoid responsibility and offered only a 30% partial refund of the inspection fee. The issue here isn't that they didn't mention it at all, it's that the condition was seriously understated and they took no accountability. As a homebuyer, you rely on the inspection to understand what's actually going on. If something is visibly deteriorated, it should be clearly described that way. Inspections are supposed to protect buyers, not leave them with unexpected repairs after closing. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay away from this company and make sure your agent stays away from them as well. I trusted the report and unfortunately paid for it later. But currently in talks with the AZ Board of Technical Registration to hopefully suspend their license because it's completely unethical what they do to homebuyers! Hold them accountable! Just sharing my experience so others can make a more informed decision.

DO NOT HIRE ARIZONA ROOFING SYSTEMS!…read more CAN YOU GIVE ZERO STARS? I hired them to put on a new roof and walk-out deck. What a DISASTER! They have shoddy workmanship, billing practices, contractual obligations, and poor customer support - AND PERFORMED UNLICENSED WORK! On April 9, 2024, I contracted Arizona Roofing Systems Inc. (ARS) for a new roof and walkout deck repair for $25,500. //DECK// Mr. Smith (ARS owner) holds only a CR42 license from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) https://roc.az.gov which is a basic roofer's license that limits him to tasks like laying plywood and applying coatings. He is not licensed to perform, evaluate, or repair structural framing. He is not licensed to perform stucco repair. Upon learning of this, I halted the work on the deck. However, Mr. Smith's team installed "sister joists" on the framing which was in violation of his licensing. A licensed professional evaluated his work, and of no surprise, found it to be installed incorrectly compromising the structural integrity of the deck. His team also "repaired" the stucco they damaged which is also in violation of his license. A stucco professional said it must be completely redone. The decking 'weep screed' was missing and the coating misapplied, the only items they are licensed to do has to be ripped out and redone. Additionally, his team put their foot through the deck, twice, and which resulted in two large holes in the patio ceiling. I was not informed of this, and they tried to repair those holes, which they are unlicensed to do, and they must be redone by a professional. //ROOF// Poor workmanship resulted in having the roof repaired, and much of the work redone. The shoddy work is too extensive to list here but can be found in the attached summary and timeline. It includes incorrectly applied mortar, tile gaps, vent screens not replaced, roof jacks, sloppy point, missing underlayment, etc. While a release has been signed, this has been reported to the ROC and hope others do not go through this. Told him the concerns about the roof plus a gutter area where water was overflowing during downpours. He walked and inspected the entire roof, found where the piece we had found belonged and put it back in place. He checked the gutters, making sure they were level and free of debris and made sure the area of concern looked like it was functioning correctly. Explained why the the spot was likely just getting overwhelmed during our downpours. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns and provided very helpful info. Hopefully we won't need a roofer again until our underlayment needs to be replaced - but if and when we do, this will be the company we go to. I check obviously for plenty of good reviews. I'm looking for professionalism, timeliness, pride in workmanship, and just overall customer satisfaction. L and R past the the reviews. Plenty of people seem satisfied. The next thing is, I check their website if they have one. Most businesses do now have some kind of online presence. Theirs was very smooth and easy to navigate. I requested a quote online, and in about 24 hours got a response. The owner, Luis, came out, climbed the roof, gave me a rundown of what to expect, should I use their services, and told me they would not contact me again or try to pressure me. They certainly followed through on that. They did send a quote. Their website makes it very easy to accept the quote and has finance options. Their contract is laid out very straightforward, full disclosure. Nothing hidden. In this online business world, where people expect more online transactional capability, you just expect businesses to offer that. But many don't, particularly in the contracting world. So, anyone who is attentive to making it easy to transact online is very focused on their business, in my experience. It's just another sign of professionalism and tells me that probably they will also be attentive during the actual construction process. That's just my general experience. It does not always hold true. But in this case, it did. After the HOA approval, I decided to use them for the roof replacement. Costs were in line with about what everyone else is charging. I paid the 50% down, and got a call from Victor the foreman to schedule replacement. They were very accommodating and got busy. There was a minor hiccup, but not their fault. The supplier delivered the wrong tiles. I'm sure that caused a bit of stress for Victor, because they have plenty of jobs scheduled. Anyway, the day after the day they were supposed to do the work, the new tiles were delivered. And then the following Monday, the tiles were loaded onto the roof. The next day they were laid and completed at the same day. I'm no roofing expert, but have some common sense. I climbed the roof before they laid the tiles just to check out their work. All the flashings were very nicely placed. Everything seemed to be high-quality. The underlayment was very nicely laid. And, each day they cleaned up pretty well. When the work was completed, they cleaned up better than I had the yard cleaned up. Victor very professional. If I need any maintenance on the roof, I definitely would consider L & R again. However, I suspect the roof will out last me and my wife.
