I recently started losing hair due to an illness, so I decided to look into possibly getting a wig while my hair is going through this transition. I turned to my 'ol faithful resource - Yelp - and found Jenny's Wig Shop - which happens to be right around the corner from me. I called and was able to get a same day appointment with Brissa - what a blessing that was! Brissa was very sweet and patient --- and she was very knowledgeable in the different types of wig caps. She took the time to explain each one to me as she knew this was a very different and new experience for me. I tried on several different styles before finding one that was a good fit for my face shape - so I decided to purchase it. Brissa then explained how to care for the wig and went over washing instructions. Fortunately they had for purchase special shampoo and conditioner for wigs - which was much milder than regular shampoo. And she explained to me the best way to dry it. I was also able to purchase a wig stand and a comb. It was a one-stop shopping experience! Brissa, thank you for your kindness and assistance in finding a cute hairstyle for me! They can order an item for you but there are no returns. I really don't understand how they can expect me to I pay over a thousand dollars for something I haven't seen or tried on? Due to an illness, I have hair loss & desperately needed help finding the right wig. I thought Brissa was a god send. She had on Christian music & seemed to really care about helping me. She was helpful, at first, and I ordered a beautiful wig. Only problem was the wig was too big & fell off my head. After several attempts to help to get it to stay on, we both knew it was never going to work. It was way too big for my head. I honestly don't think it was the size I ordered. Unfortunately, Brissa told me there was nothing else she could do. I was stuck with the wig that I will never be able to wear. I paid $3,770 with no recourse. She did say she may have a woman that could rework the wig but never came through with a name. She has ghosted me ever since. I would stay away from this shop. read more

I came in a couple weeks ago to get my mom a wig for her and my dad's 50th wedding anniversary. My mom has had full balding on the top of her head for many many years, which made her self conscious. She never considered a wig, until I suggested it to her recently. Brissa made my mom feel so comfortable. My mom was extremely nervous and also embarrassed of her bald head. I had Brissa help me. I struggle with shorter, this hair. It has always kept me from feeling my best. I have been to this shop in the past, but with the new owner, it is so nice. Great chairs and mirrors to get a good look at what the wig really looks like on. Brissa was so helpful. I picked out the wigs I wanted to try on, but none of them looked just right. Brissa then suggested a few of her own ideas. Sure enough, one of the wigs she picked out was the one I chose to go home with. It's beautiful and I feel so much prettier now!!! I have meant to write this review for many years. My teenage daughter and I did not have an appointment, but were treated with the utmost of tenderness and respect. My daughter battled cancer for two years, during which we purchased approximately five wigs from Jenny's. At a time in her life when people stared at her thinness and hair loss, Jenny's Wigs were incredibly sensitive, behaving as if nothing about her was out of the unusual. Waste of time if your looking for real hair, the selection is very limited and very expensive for the quality. None of the wigs have a natural hair line, very "wig" looking. Even the 1500$ wigs looked very fake. The synthetic wigs have terrible outdated styles/cuts and the colors look very fake. Very small selection also. Don't waste your time on the drive. read more

Have purchased four wigs at Jenny's store. My wigs are about 3 1/2 years old now. Acrylic wigs. Bought due to chemo and even now my hair is thin and balding due to genes and medications. The wigs are still holding up well. Really quality wigs. I paid around $130. per wig. My friend buys cheap wigs that last only last 3 months. This is a quality store with caring service. You may pay a few dollars extra, but the wigs really last. read more

RIP OFF!!! I have bought 2 human hair wigs from Jenny for my 12 year old daughter who has alopecia. The first wig we bought in Sept. 2013 and it cost $1100 and was good quality but not the best. One year later we wanted to purchase a second wig from her and she assured us that we can have a better quality human hair wig but it will cost more. We paid $1685.00 for the wig in May 2014. My daughter wore the wig for 2 months and it looks and feels horrible. It feels like a ratted dolls hair! The wig she sold us was suppose to be the "finest human hair wig" and it is not! I have been told by another salon that the wig is a human and synthetic blend. I asked her if she can contact the manufacturer and ask why the wig is like this or give me the contact information so I can deal with them directly. She refused to do either. She kept insisting that we did something to the wig. My daughter has been wearing wigs since she was 7 years old and we know how to wash and care for wigs. This has never happened to us before and we've bought everything from synthetic wigs to human hair wigs. She kept insisting that we did something and that we took too long bringing it back in. I explained to her that we were on vacation for the past month and that a wig should last more than 2 months! She refuses to stand behind her product and won't even give me the manufacturer's info to deal with them directly. After I told her that I would take her to court unless she refunds our money she said the best thing she can do is send it for repair and it will cost us another $200.00. I may have been naive and trusted her when she said that this was a human hair wig but I will not throw more good money after bad. It's appalling to me that she would treat a child like this! She made my daughter cry because she kept accusing her of doing something to the wig! She in unreasonable and unprofessional! read more

Don't believe any of the bad reviews here. You have to come and see Jenny for yourself. She is a nice person, she sells good quality wigs (many choices). I suspect these bad reviews were from her competitors, or from the customers who agreed to buy the wigs and wore/damaged them and tried to return them later on. I would not buy those used wigs! I know that the best thing is to come and check it out from yourself. read more
