I visited Vivoli Il Gelato about an hour or so after we ate at the Boathouse Restaurant for dinner. My husband and I were in the area. We wanted to have some dessert. I thought I'd go with just one scoop of peanut butter gelato. At first, I was taken aback by how expensive it was which over $7 for one scoop. So while I was not surprised that much money would be charged for a small amount of food especially at Disney Springs, I did think this was a lot of money to spend for just one scoop. The flavor was good though. The gelato was extremely rich and creamy. The peanut butter flavor was fairly strong, but not too sweet, it tasted more like peanut than sugar. The ambiance felt somewhat as though you were in an intimate Italian café vs. a quick service kiosk. The way they presented their gelato in the display cases made every flavor appealing. The team members were fast and friendly. Overall, I am happy I gave it a try. Quality wise, I have no doubt, however, with the prices, this would be a special visit, rather than something I would purchase on a regular basis. This spot offers so many delicious gelato options! The Biscoff flavor is amazing, and if you're feeling adventurous, the Guinness flavor tastes exactly like the beer. I've actually been to the original café in Italy, and the line there is usually about two blocks long on average, so I never really felt like it was worth the wait. As a Florida local, I was really excited to finally try the pistachio affogato here at Disney and had been looking forward to it for a while. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. The customer service was very poor. we weren't even acknowledged when we walked in. On top of that, they made my order incorrectly and even spilled it on me when handing it over the counter. The mistake was never corrected, so I ended up paying for and eating something I didn't even order even though I told them I asked for pistachio. I was told "you can just keep that one" so I guess I had to eat it? It was just decent at best. I've definitely had better gelato. read more

Oh my goodness--I had to try this. The Affogato at Vivoli Gelato Disney Springs has been taking over Instagram, and my curiosity officially won. I went with the pistachio ice cream and a shot of espresso, and let me tell you... this is what creamy dreams are made of. The ice cream was rich and perfectly flavored, studded with little pieces of pistachio that added just the right crunch. Then came the espresso--bold, warm, and poured right in the middle cavity --melting everything together into this smooth, not-too-sweet, utterly indulgent bite of joy. Every spoonful was pure happiness. FYI, it's a cart just outside the big Disney Store, so limited tables to sit at outdoors. So, if you want a ceramic mug, you simply say "for here." Otherwise, to go cup as you see in my picture it is. Now, full transparency: at $11, it's definitely a Disney-priced treat. (Hence minus 1 star.) But hey, it is Disney Springs, so I'll allow it. This will probably be a once-a-year splurge for me--but one I'll happily repeat. Totally worth trying at least once (and savoring every bite). read more

The affogato was my reason for coming in. It was creamy and delicious, with a yummy espresso. They ran out of pistachios and didn't let me know before I ordered, which was disppointing, as I went with that over Biscoff since it had a topping.The gelato was yummy though, just missed the pistachio crunch. We came to Vivoli li Gelato to try their famous Affogato flavors. The flavors we got today were original, double chocolate, and pistachio. The espresso blended with these flavors went really well together. The ambiance was nice, a lot of people but most of the employees moved and worked efficiently to accommodate and tend to each and every customers. This one employee named Amanda was so unprofessional. She asked if we were with the customer ahead of us because my fiance and the lady in the front were both Asians. She didn't apologize for her assumption and mistake. I said no we aren't together, sorry for looking alike with the previous customer to have confused you. Her response was that's okay and Yes it is very confusing. Her attitude and demeanor was 0/5 stars. Someone on the hire ups please train this Amanda to treat ALL customers with respect and not look down because of their ethnicities. I felt offended and disgusted to have been talked and treated this way. If we weren't pressed for time for our dinner reservation elsewhere I would have liked the opportunity to formally file a complaint about this lady. No I don't recommend this place to others. Living in 2025, I wouldn't have imagined facing racial discrimination so openly especially at a place like Disney springs where I assume there are many tourists from out of states and even out of countries. read more

Lovely little stop by the Basin in Disney Springs but a little pricey for what you get. Concept isn't my favorite. I feel like you don't get enough gelato and you don't get enough espresso. We were brought here by the peppermint affogato advertisements, and I'm so glad we came!! I loved my peppermint affogato!! It was creamy and peppermints and the espresso on top was pronominal. Now, those in my group who ordered other items were not as impressed with the flavors. What a treat to find an outpost of our favorite Italian gelato in Disney Springs. I thought for sure that there was no relation and the name was a coincidence but, nope! This is one of two locations of Vivoli in the United States. The line was much more manageable here than it was when we went in Florence last fall. Great, unique (and cheap-er) gelato. They let you sample before you buy and as a non-kid you can get the kids size scoop! I got the hazelnut (they also have chocolate hazelnut - "nutella" essentially) and there were just straight up hazelnut nuts in it. Every so often you crunch on one. Went with the family to try this new hyped drink called Affogato. Which is a scope of vanilla gelato with a hot shot of espresso. My personal thoughts, I am not a fan. Although I do love gelato and coffee (espresso) as separate items! I love coffee ice creams. However, this felt like it was an overwhelming amount of sugar, so it was not enjoyable for my family and I. It was a cool experience, but one I would not repeat again. The service was fairly quick, considering the amount of people wanting to try this new drink in Florida. The ambience had of an ice cream parlor. I would like to try some of their other items! The presentation is amazing with the inside of the coffee cup smothered in your choice of gelato and a shot of espresso in the middle of all that deliciousness. We decided on the Biscoff gelato which tasted so good with the espresso shot. We tasted 4 gelatos and I must say the Biscoff was our favorite. The pumpkin gelato tasted like a can of pumpkin with no spices. If you like pumpkin that way then you will love the pumpkin gelato. Be aware there is no seating inside but there are 3 to 4 tables outside with no covering though. The tiramisu looked promising. Unlike some gelato places, they did offer samples. The gelato was fine, but not my top, which might be Eataly. Like a typical gelato place, the prices were high and the portions small. I liked that they sold some Italian products, like the wafer cookies, etc.. The people who worked here seemed nice enough. I would consider coming back but I think Salt and Straw might be the better option at Disney Springs. read more

This is a cute little gelato shop located right next to Joffrey's in Disney Springs. My daughter loved the pistachio gelato and my other daughter enjoyed the chocolate flavor. I also sampled both of these and they were great. You can't go wrong with this place. read more
