I absolutely loved this place! I came here with my mom trying to satisfy a shaved ice craving, and this place sure did the trick! They have quite a few delicious and some good exotic flavors to choose from, including dairy and non dairy. They ony offer one side, which is a small bowl of up to three flavors. There are two toppings to choose from: whipped cream and/or condensed milk. I went for strawberry and pineapple with lots.of condensed milk despite my lactose intolerance. LOL. All flavors tasted natural and home made. I really could not taste any artificial flavors. The service is outstanding and the ambiance is super outdoorsy. There is no indoor space. This place is located hidden in the back of a small parking lot behind a store. There is some street parking and a small parking lot across the street. Wenhad no issues finding parking on a busy Saturday afternoon. Also, the only payment options are cash, Venmo and Zelle (no credit cards). Overall, 100% recommended. I can't wait to bring more people here!

I have been wanting to try this place out since its opening. The owner was planning to do a AYCE ($45 per person) Luau and I thought that maybe a good time to try out her shave ice stand as well. Got there after work and threw on my hawaiian mu'u mu'u dress on and a little flower on my hair LOL It is behind the House Of Lang store and its the backyard area. The location was cute. Upon entering you see a swing with a Photo Op wall on your left side. Excellent for selfies and such for social media. Also array of patio furnishings and seatings some had cushions and some do not. She also displayed array of tropical plants for sale. Some were planted inside a SPAM can which was cute. Her Shave Ice truck was in the back underneath a shade and had a menu board up with the flavors for the shave ice. She is asking $7 / $8 for shave ice depending on what flavor and if its fruit or milk based. To me that was kinda pricey considering the size you get and not much topping options. Shave ice is syrup and ice and for her price she need to upgrade her cup sizes. There were barely people attending this Luau event perhaps less than 10 attendees when I arrived. I arrived around close to 5pm. Some were in the hawaiian spirit with the flower on their hair and some had the hawaiian shirts on. As the hour passed more attendees came and some asked if they can bring their cooler filled with alcohol and she was open to it. I thought that was a kind gesture from her part. So in total the attendees were less than 20? The owner was still prepping the tent to serve the buffet style food. So the hot food were served in tin foil pans with the food warmer style presentation. Array of sauces were displayed and stacks of hawaiian bread rolls were presented along with spam musubi's and malasadas. Just by the glance the presentation of the buffet was not appealing to me. It was not easy on the eyes. Its a LUAU so you kind of expect tablescape should have the vibes of island decor etc. I did not see that I saw alot of plants spread out. Presentation wise - I am not sure if this was her first LUAU event but to me it was kinda sloppy. If she chose carefully how to display the spam musubi's and malasadas with the hawaiian rolls it would have made a difference. I noticed she didn't have enough serving utensils and the Mac Salad one of the trays was drowning in water creating a milky wet sauce underneath the mac salad. It looked disgusting. The Spam Musubi were mostly rice filled barely saw the spam inside and they were all uneven thickness etc. They were not molded the authentic way. It seemed like they rushed making the musubi's. So how it worked with cashing out was if you are paying a la carte which is pretty much plate lunch style NO BUFFET you pay towards the shave ice area with your apps of venmo etc . I was hungry so after I paid I went to her and told her my order would be the al a carte. I ordered the huli huli chicken and mac salad. The plate lunch was $19. I got 2 thighs and 2 scoops of mac salad because I didnt want rice and a pc of hawaiian roll. Overpriced? Yes I think so, Once I sat down I sliced the chicken thigh in half - The chicken was partially raw inside. I got up and she was serving another guest and I told her the chicken she served is not cooked. She said she couldn't believe it because the chicken was cooking for 12 hrs. She saw my plate and she made me a new plate this time the chicken portions were a tad bit smaller. But they were cooked. Taste wise - The Huli Huli chicken was good and tender and flavorful I ate 1 out of the 2 pcs of chicken and by the bone area of the chicken I noticed pink and little bit o f blood. After seeing that I stopped eating the chicken. The mac Salad needed more seasoning or "onion juice" also needed some sugar and salt. It was bland. Mayo was right consistency but lack of seasoning. Pasta was el dente. Shave ice - I chose POG with Lilikoi. They poke holes to have that syrup flow in the shaved ice but I noticed the syrup did not fully spread out, So my shave ice lacked of syrup inside. It was an OK shave ice the portion is not much for $7 in my opinion and the lacking of syrup was not any better rating either. Overall - The owner was nice she offered me to grab another plate and she also offered the attendees free food pantry items from a basket to take home such as : hawaiian sun drink can, Curry mix from japan, Ramen noodle packs, Rice crackers mix packets, Asian candy as a few things I remember seeing. I grabbed the Hawaiian Sun drink and Rice crackers snack, The rice crackers were stale. So it made me assume the items she was giving out were perhaps expired from her pantry? This was a honest review and some may read it as negative compared to her 5 star ratings based solely on her shave ice .. But this review was based on her LUAU event recently, The food served and her shave ice. Before she let everyone eat she acknowledged us attendees and thanked us for comin

Absolutely to die for- some of the best shaved ice I have ever had. We had the mango flavor with their cream on top and oh my goodness. It really hit the spot as a great dessert. The shaved ice doesn't have that fake syrup either, you can tell that everything is made with real ingredients and they also have everything in their camper on display so you can watch them make it. Not only is the shaved ice flavorful and delicious but the atmosphere is also stellar. We came at night which I would highly recommend as you can see the beautiful stringing lights that hang around the property and tables and chairs. There are cute eclectics everywhere including bikes hanging on the tree and discs on the walls of the buildings. It just gives it a nice unique touch. The most beautiful place to eat shaved ice for sure.

Finally made it to Hanalei! I honestly didn't know this was outside in the backyard of house on lang, such a cute addition tucked away in the corner lot of the yard. The owner is such a sweetheart and so kind! She took the time to go over the menu since it was my first time there and I truly appreciate that! I had the Lilikoi (aka passionfruit) topped with lihing, which was reminded me of tajin, but not tajin! The shave ice was delicious and so good on such a warm day. They surprisingly had a goat yoga event so I was able to have my shave ice while seeing some cute baby goats. My boyfriend got the mango shave ice, which was also delicious. There were tons of options to pick from and even some warm treats, so I'm most definitely making my way out again to try them! Overall, such a cute spot, so relaxing and chill to come share some shave ice with friends or a date!

Hanalei is actually located behind the house on lang, so of course you have to park up and walk through the house that features clothes and items you can buy to add to your home editions! Parking varies depending on the day and how busy it is in general, but for the most part it was really easy and quick to find a spot and head on over. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the service and what they had to offer. So delicious, and with this Florida heat, you gotta come and get some iceeees to cool off. I ordered the mango which was topped with fresh mangoes. It was sooo good cause the ingredients were natural and the syrup had little bits of pieces of the fruit itself. Environment is great, relaxing, and outdoor with places to sit , relax, and enjoy the moment. Definitely want to be back here with a Group of friends to enjoy this treat, talk and relax.

Visited today for the first time and I loved it!! Very kind and friendly people, definitely a warm and inviting atmosphere. A comfortable chill spot to go with friends or family. I got the guava shaved ice with condensed milk and my boyfriend got the mango. So delicious! No artificial syrups!! The small pieces of mango were so yummy and the guava was perfect I REALLY enjoyed it. Small business so be sure to pay attention to their instagram for hours of operation! I'm not sure about cash..? but I know they accept Zelle, Apple Pay, Pay Pal, Venmo, and Cash App

Honestly the best SHAVE ice I have ever had outside of hawaii. It's so authentic and the ambiance is so cute and cozy. Hanalei is in a little trailer behind house on lang, under a huge oak tree. The owner grew up in hawaii and knows what she is doing! The ice is shaved from an original shave ice machine so it's perfect. All the flavors are homemade and I love the Lilikoi. The best one I've had to date is the Cup of Coffee. WOW was that delicious. I continue coming back to Hanalei for the amazing hospitality from the owner and the delicious and authentic shave ice. Do yourself a favor and stop by, hours are limited!

I'd come here everyday if I could! Brandy the owner is simply amazing and takes great pride in her business. Flavors are hand crafted and so yummy. Good luck trying to pick your favorite! It is outdoors so be sure to prepare accordingly. There is plenty of seating and games to play with your friends!

I stopped my Hanalei on a hot Saturday afternoon after canvassing for a couple hours and it hit the spot! I ordered a lychee and lili koi shaved ice. The flavors were sweet but didn't taste artificial, and the ice really hit the spot and cooled me off.

What a wonderful find in the heart of Orlando. We are always on the look out for Hawaiian clovers to remind us of home, and oh man does this place deliver. It is ACTUALLY shave ice. No snow cones here! Soft and fluffy ice with the best flavor options. My favorite is the lilikoi with ube ice cream. Perfect combo of flavors! We had the malasadas today and OMG they are delicious! One bite and I was back in Hawaii. I cannot wait to have another one of those soon! Brandy is the most kind host. The location is adorable and inviting! We will be back again and again!

Ube Pandan shave & Halo Halo. Some tables even have games to play as you enjoy your treat.

I've been going to Hanalei with my boyfriend for three years now, and it never disappoints! We make it a point to go at least once a month because the shaved ice just keeps getting better every time. The trailer is super cute, located behind The House on Lang in the backyard, offering a great space for bringing your whole family or friends, with plenty of seating and a cozy atmosphere. Even if you visit at night, the place is well-lit, so it never gets too dark. Brandy, the owner, has been incredibly kind to us over the years, showering us with love. She genuinely cares about those who support her and her business. I've pretty much tried every flavor by now, but my favorite is always the ube shaved ice with her homemade whipped cream, ube ice cream, and condensed milk. However, you really can't go wrong with any of her other flavors. If she happens to have ube malasadas, you've got to try them because they're fantastic! Hanalei is a cashless spot, but you can pay with various mobile payment options like Apple Pay, Cashapp, Venmo, etc. Another fantastic aspect is that all the bowls and utensils are compostable, and there's even a compost bin on-site. It's just another way Brandy shows how much she cares. Her halo halo is the best in Orlando, and the serving sizes for all her treats are quite generous, so don't hesitate to share. I like to have my own shaved ice to myself though :D Taking my friends here is always a delight because there's something for everyone, and the amazing space she's in never fails to impress. I'll continue to do so as long as she's open. TIPS: make sure you check out their instagram bio for the weekly schedule! They do events sometimes, so it can change quite a bit. Also, the prices are amazing, only $7 for a very large treat that's in a compostable container and a lot of her ingredients are homemade, so I always make sure to leave a large tip!

What a place!!! Absolutely wonderful people & tasty shaved ice. Made my Sunday

The overall vibe was calm, relaxing, and inviting. One feature I really appreciated was the charging ports built into the high-top seating area, making it a great spot for studying, working, or simply enjoying a dessert and drink. Overall, KORI is a cozy spot with delicious desserts, great drinks, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Thought there would be more food items available, seemed a bit underwhelming.

My order came out quickly. I got their matcha latte with ube foam, and it was a dream in a cup. In comparison to some other places I've gotten matcha from, Cafe Maiko is definitely a top contender. The overall decor is trendy and very clean. They have a cute circular chair that's IG/social media-worthy for a cute photo op. It is quaint inside, with a decent amount of seating. There's some bench seating up front as well, and I believe there is also a bench for seating just outside. Thankfully, I was getting my order to go, as the day and time I arrived, there was no seating readily available. Beyond that, it is a very cute cafe. The parking situation is FOREVER a challenge in the Mills District area, so just be cognizant of that. Pricing was very reasonable. The staff was so kind and helpful (if you had any questions). All in all, for my first experience, I truly enjoyed every bit of it.

We walked into a cute and welcoming space with a menu built around showcasing matcha in different forms rather than treating it as just another flavor option. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the theme well, though seating is limited and it can get crowded during busy times, making it better suited for a quick dessert stop or grabbing a drink to enjoy nearby rather than settling in for a long visit. The main reason to visit is the matcha soft serve and dessert selection. The matcha flavor is noticeably rich and earthy, with a stronger tea profile compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. The soft serve has a smooth, creamy texture and works especially well in combinations like matcha shaved ice, floats, or parfait-style creations. The matcha shaved ice stands out with layers of shaved ice, matcha soft serve, red bean, mochi, and Japanese chestnuts, creating a dessert that has different textures in every bite. The combination of the creamy soft serve with the chewy mochi and the slight bitterness of the matcha creates a balanced dessert that does not rely solely on sugar for flavor. The drink menu gives plenty of ways to experience matcha, from hot and iced matcha drinks to floats and specialty creations. Options like matcha with ube, matcha lattes with foam, and hojicha drinks add variety for anyone who wants something beyond traditional matcha. The café also offers coffee options, which makes it easier for groups with different preferences to find something they enjoy. The matcha lattes are well balanced, with the earthy notes of the tea coming through clearly without being masked by milk or sweetness. Beyond matcha, the menu includes other Japanese-inspired desserts like taiyaki, mochi-based items, and seasonal offerings. The combination of traditional flavors and playful presentations makes the café feel like a dessert destination rather than just a drink shop. The desserts are also visually appealing, with the kind of presentation that makes them worth taking a photo before digging in. The taiyaki are crisp on the outside and filled with a sweet red bean paste that contrasts nicely with the cold soft serve. Service is friendly and helps keep the experience smooth even when the café is busy. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and make it easy to choose between the many matcha options, offering clear descriptions of the flavor profiles and texture differences between the soft serve, shaved ice, and latte options. Because the café has a strong focus on quality matcha and specialty desserts, it can get popular during peak hours, so visiting outside the busiest times may make it easier to find seating and take your time with the menu. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha or wants to try Japanese-style matcha desserts. The combination of rich matcha flavor, creative menu options, and a cozy café atmosphere makes it stand out from typical dessert shops. It feels like a place worth visiting when you want a matcha experience that goes beyond a basic latte, offering a dessert that feels both authentic and indulgent without being overly sweet.

Not only was it delicious, but it was also fun to watch them work their magic and transform simple ingredients into this amazing snowy dessert. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're craving something sweet and refreshing.

The snow itself was insanely creamy and perfectly sweet, super refreshing with the fresh mango and coconut. And the best part, a family sitting behind us saw our bowl and immediately ordered the same thing for their whole table. That's when you know it looks good and tastes absolutely incredible. If you're anywhere near Mills Market, this is an absolute must-try.

I'm very familiar with locations that are essentially a drive through and some scattered outdoor seating or just sitting in your car in a parking space. This location was such a pleasant surprise! The staff was so friendly and the fact that you could sit inside was mind blowing (to me)! I ordered The Grasshopper which is like a mint chocolate chip jelati. It was so good! And pretty to look at - though not for too long or it'll melt! :P Jeremiah's is very consistent across the locations I've gone to over the years. My favorite flavors were Passionfruit and Lemon Basil Italian ices. Maybe one day they'll come back!
