And not only did she say that, but she delivered! 20 minutes later, I sat in her chair and got my face all cleaned up... Jillian was super sweet and did an excellent job doing some maintenance on my brows and cleaning up my lip. I'd go so far as saying she is meticulous in a good way. She even has this wonderful soft hand pillow that she uses so that her hand is not constantly rubbing up against your face as she works. I'd never experienced that before and I loved it. I left TBS feeling like a new woman! If I lived in Calgary, I'd likely be a loyal customer of TBS / Jillian. She must be doing something right as she's been working there for almost 10 years! I then re-arranged my afternoon - its a 2 hour + appointment and booked online and rec'd 2 confirmations of the appointment. Today, I went to Lola Lash Bar and waited and waited. Receptionist was busy at the coffee bar too. When I asked the receptionist if there was a problem she told me that she would call and see where Miki was. I left and called back and was told she wasnt picking up or responding. Several hours later I rec'd a VM from Mike offering to rebook. No apology just an explanation that there was a glitch in Lola's system and i shouldnt have been able to book so close to the date of the appointment. A complete waste of time. My Experience with Lola Lash Bar was disappointing and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I sat for about an hour with her pushing quite hard on my eyes trying to get the lash lift pad to stick (for roughly 15 minutes per eye). At one point she got perm solution in one of my eyes but I was worried to mention it because I felt that it would have been worst had she tried to fix it since she had no idea what was going on. It's quite negligent to have someone not fully trained working with peoples eyes. I left with my lashes FULL of glue and my eyelids stuck open from glue. The best part? Absolutely no change in the curl of my lashes (picture attached) I guess you get what you pay for! Save your money, and pay the little extra at a real spa!!!!!

Wow, is the service offered at the corporate level ever abysmal. I was a patron of a now closed…read morelocation which, for the record, offered great care at the brick and mortar level. That said, as this previous location was closing, I asked the staff to terminate my membership as I was not interested in leaving my neighborhood to access their services. Despite making the verbal request and receiving verbal assurances that my membership would be cancelled, years later I've come to find that I've been paying monthly fees for an unwanted membership which was transferred to a new location without my permission. Upon discovering this information, I promptly reached out to the store nearest the one I previously patronized and made a secondary request to cancel my membership which was granted. Then, as I had been making years worth of payments for an unused membership, I took my concerns a step further and contacted the Fabutan Calgary corporate offices. The receptionist asked for me to provide my comments in writing; these comments were then forwarded to an individual named Helen who, to date, has offered a rather dehumanizing response. Although my membership was ultimately canceled per my ~verbal~ request, Helen continues to imply that written requests must be submitted to be considered legitimate. This does take into account the fact that, since the date I initially understood my membership to have been canceled, I have never sought further services from any Fabutan establishment. Helen is prompt to remind me that my initial waiver states that, in the event of a store closure, memberships will be transferred, however, she refuses to acknowledge that my request to terminate the membership was made which would supersede this policy. Additionally, as I am a busy professional and prefer to not communicate by way of lengthy emails, I've asked Helen numerous times to contact me by phone which has been outright refused. This all points to a standard of predatory business practices at the corporate level and gladly perpetuated by this individual, Helen. I would suggest that if you find yourself in search of the services offered by the likes of Fabutan, you take your business elsewhere.

I hear some girls tell me their fills take over two hours ? I also fall asleep every time because Kim is extremely gentle.
