We scheduled for the following week and Blake and his crew were ready at 9:30 am. He went over the initial plan and asked if there was anything we wanted to change/add. He even got us a quote on the spot to see what it would cost to extend the original plan. We decided to go with the original plan. They got the materials and started around 10:30/11. By 2 pm they completed the entire project. He gave us a few tips, we paid, and they were on their way. Pros: -Start to finish the process was easy breezy -Liked the fact that we had the option to extend our patio (if we wanted to) -Time to screen everything in was roughly 4 hours -I liked the fact that we were given the option of having a larger door to access the porch from the outside. Cons: -None that I'm aware Tips: Let the sealant dry before sweeping in your new screened in porch (we were given that tip, as the sealant is tacky for up to 24 hours after installed).

I literally had to hire someone to repair the damage caused to our home by Colonial Construction. They don't come to look when I can be there and when they have they just look around the outside but never come into the entryway to see where i have pointed out and marked the area that is leaking. Not once have they done their due diligence to make this right. When I have reached out it takes days for them to return my call and then when they say they will be out on a certain day they don't and they don't let you know they are running behind or nothing. I am not happy with their work period.

Incredibly disappointed. We hired Chad to extend our patio and install a pergola in our backyard…read more He was great at selling us on this project but ultimately did not follow through with what was promised. We now have a patio with two distinctly different paver colors than what is on our lanai and it looks stupid. He blamed first the builder of our home for the color discrepancies then he blamed us claiming we were shown pictures of the color of the pavers (he picked these pavers out and claimed they matched our lanai) He never showed us pictures of the options nor did we know until after the fact the name of the company he placed the order with. He knew we wanted it to match the lanai. He offered no resolution to fix this. Instead of offering any resolution he threatened to have a lien put on our home! We did not get the polymeric sand that we paid extra for. I specifically wanted the pergola we paid $7000 for to be able to support a swing and it can't because it's wobbly and won't support any additional weight. This was a huge part of our conversation with Chad when he came to give us an estimate. He even told me that if I had the swing at the time of install they would hang it for me. His failure to show up when he promised and properly check the work that he subcontracted out has led to massive issues. It's sad and completely shocking to me that when confronted with these issues his response was to tell us we were just trying get out of paying him and threaten to put a lien on our property. We at no point threatened not to pay. All we wanted was for our pavers to match. All we wanted was what he promised us. Do not trust this person.
