Not upfront about their charges which is not an honest and ethical business practice. Placing an order with Uber Eats or Doordash would be better...they are upfront and don't have any "hidden policies or charges". Never going to order with Guys On Wheels again due to the dishonest business practice.

I talked to Chris on the phone and he was really helpful and cared about earning my business. He made it an easy decision to give the company a try. Fun folks to chin-wag with, even while they're "on the job" For example, I ordered from them yesterday. My apartment is a very long walk from the front entry door to the building, which is where I meet them, so that they don't have to haul an order all the way. It's challenging because of my physical limitations, but to top it off, the intercom system doesn't always work properly, so some people wind up getting through to a tenant who is someone they don't know. The gal who was the driver last night made a point of following me all the way to my apartment with my order. Their office and dispatch people are just as friendly and fussy about "doing things right." There's another company in the area which I haven't yet tried, but may have to when I go back into hospital. I'd starve to death (I'm in my 70s) if it wasn't for Have It Delivered!

I finally get to try mead here. I've always been intrigued by it after years of reading about it in…read morestories set in old England. There are so many flavors here and they all sound so yummy. The tasting is great as you get to try the different types of mead. The tasting fee is waived when you buy a 375 ml or 750 ml bottle. 50 ml bottle is also available and just so cute and portable. So I learnt I prefer the sweeter mead like merry mead (original and usually out of stock), crabapple mead and plum mead (reminds me of Japanese choya). Other meads are the dry version and some can even taste like brandy or whiskey. There are also lots of honey here. It's a great place to get honey and honey based products and mead. You can also call to reserve mead or ask to be on waitlist for certain meads so that they can call you when it's ready. Then it won't be a wasted trip. Excellent service too. P.S you can bring back the empty bottles so that they can crush the glass and reuse it. And they will also return the $0.10 deposit. But they said to bring to other recycling depot if it's far out to drop it off at their shop.

I bought 2 jars of 1kg spring wildflower honeys. They sales lady said it would be good for my allergies. Anyways, I had some of the honey. It is not overly sweet. You can taste the purity in the honey. Best of all, I know where the honey is coming from. You can do a quick wine tasting for a fee and that fee would be waived if you buy a bottle of wine from them. I will definitely be back to pick up more next time.
