I was concerned about the difficulty of planning since I was several states away but after talking to Jakub and what I had envisioned when proposing to my girlfriend, he was able to make this such a smooth experience. He researched the areas I was interested in and planned out the schedule based on how the lighting for that day will look like. Then he allowed me to change and go through the entire shoot again. He was very encouraging and I felt a bit like a model in a movie -- with him saying "beautiful" "give me more smile" and cheering me on. It was more tiring than I thought but he was great at getting me to relax and for this price, the least expensive I found, cash only, you cannot do better. Plus, my shots look like me! Which all my acting teachers say is a must. Not some wind blown over touched plastic. Lastly, unlike so many other studios I looked into, Klaus burns you a disk right then and there with ALL of the images after you've reviewed them so you are sure you like them. So you can get them printed as you wish. The other studios often would take 2 WEEKS! to burn a disk.

I went in to meet with Safet and was impressed that you get quite a bit with their packages. I also liked the way they set up their albums which were slightly different than what I had been seeing so I went ahead and booked them for my event. The night before my engagement photo shoot Safet contacted me to tell me he was double booked and someone else would be taking our photos. Not what I signed up for but I went along with it. Brian took the photos and they came out pretty good especially considering my husband made us 40 minutes late for an hour shoot. When I spoke to Safet about how long it would take to get the photos back, he told me 4-6 weeks. It took 8 and he never contacted me to tell me they were ready. I had to reach out to him several times. Fast forward to a week before the wedding day I go in to meet with Safet to discuss the schedule for the wedding day and to pay my balance. Everything went smoothly. It was never discussed that we would have two photographers the day of the wedding. I always assumed it would be one. But on my wedding day both Safet & Brian showed up, on time and ready to work. They were both professional and engaging. Brian at one point even put on my grandmother's wig jokingly. On our way to take our "first look" photos there was some confusion on my part about transport to the photo shoot and then to the venue. To ease the pressure, Safet offered to drive me to both locations. The day of they both made things easy and simple for both me and my husband. They were with us the entire day for almost 12 hours and didn't even eat until the reception. The reason I am not giving them 5 stars is primarily because of events after the wedding. I have had the darndest time getting a hold of Safet. Its been one year since I told him which three photos I'd like for my portraits. He brought me three photos 9 months later but they were not all the correct photos.Two were correct and one wasn't. He told me he would order the correct one that night. Two months later I still have not received the correct photo. It took 7 months to receive my album and even when it came in he did not let me know. I had to contact him numerous times just for him to tell me he mailed it out to me. A month later nothing had been delivered to my home and he told me it came back to him even though when he brought it to my house the package had his home address on the shipping label and not mine. I have reached out to him on multiple occasions every day for two weeks straight without getting a response and when I finally hear from him I don't feel like he's always honest and there's always and excuse: "I was in Florida...", "I broke my phone screen...", "I forgot to message you...", "The company never shipped them for whatever reason so I placed the order again...". There's also a canvas photo that was supposed to be included in my order but I never got that either. I feel like it'd be another year before I got that since everything is taking so long. Keep in mind I got married 8/31/13 and today is 4/11/15 and I'm still waiting on one portrait and one canvas print. Bottom line is I think they do good work but Safet clearly needs an assistant to help keep things in order and reply to people in an honest and timely manner.
