Rubricx was the most expensive bid, but I got the distinct impression that the others would rush the job and were cutting corners, especially with regards to foundation preparation. Last thing I want is to spend money and find myself with problems a few years down the line. Joseph was very responsive and took the time to discuss all my concerns with me. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. The crew was great and did first rate work, responsive to my idea about installing a catch basin to be able to capture debris as part of the drainage system modifications, and generally went above and beyond. The driveway turned out beautifully. As I said, perhaps a bit more expensive, but if you are someone who cares about quality and value for your money, I highly recommend.

We met with and got estimates from three contractors. All had installed pavers for neighbors and all had received high marks. We chose Justin Canova of Moderna Pavers because he was direct, professional, and fairly priced. He inspired confidence. From start to finish throughout the project, Justin was a pleasure to work with. He is helpful and 100% reliable, something that cannot often be said of contractors. The pavers were delivered on time, in the right color and quantity. His crew installed them perfectly and in record time. What's more, they cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Justin delivers an outstanding experience and product.

I noticed some sunken spots in the driveway and called Moderna a week ago to see about repairs. An answering service picked up during regular business hours and I left a message for them to call me. No one bothered to call back. I'm disappointed in the fact that the driveway has sunk in spots and more so that the company couldn't even return the call. Follow up is just as important as the main job at least to me it is. I have another company coming out to give me a repair estimate. Update: I am upgrading my review as the issue was a communication issue through a third party. Justin was willing to come out and do the repair with no hesitation. Just about every contractor out there is backed up with projects due to COVID and Moderna was no different so to leave the poor review was not appropriate since it was a poor communication issue.

Dallas collaborated with us to ensure that the project would solve a drainage issue we had in our backyard. The price was fair for the amount of work that needed to be done, and scheduling did not take long at all. These guys showed up when they said they would, worked full days until it was completed (three days), and cleaned up the job site nicely. The job they did was wonderful and we are very pleased. As I write this review, it is raining quite heavily, and the water is now going where it should instead of pooling in my back yard. Everything is beautiful and I can't wait to dress up the landscaping around our new patio.
