In good faith to future customers, I have to leave this review. This has got to be the worst manicure I've ever gotten. The cleaning of the cuticles was sloppy and these techs just couldn't polish. I had the first tech polish my nails with three different polishes and none looked right. I then had another tech polish my nails and still!!! (See photos) Tbh, I also think their polishes are all old. The base coat was sticky and tacky making it turn out as depicted in the photos. First time there and my daughter's pedicure was done in less than 15 minutes. 20.00 more for gel so we passed on that then 2 days and her polish is pealing. All the ratings are bad it must mean something. My toenails were cut crooked and the polish was way too thick. The Lady beside me had all good things to say so I'm torn. read more

All these bad reviews hmm... whatever! they don't put up with the unruly kids and rude clients that demand and don't tip well. I'd drive you away also. I absolutely love this place and they are cleaner than those in Canton and Ellijay. The other shops are dirty and rude. If you want a clean and great service as well as talent then pay for it otherwise do elsewhere. I don't want my nail shop overly busy with complainers anyway. I would give them zero stars if I could. Besides the fact that they rudely speak in Vietnamese and giggle the whole time they are working on your nails instead of speaking to their customers, the work is terrible. She cut me trimming my cuticles and didn't even bother to push them back before applying my polish. It's been three days and my cuticles are red and peeling and the polish looks as though my nails have grown for 2 weeks. Go someplace else! read more

They didn't do a terrible job, but they were kind of mean. It was a very strange experience. They were pretty obviously making fun of me and the condition of my nails (I'm a nurse so I wash my hands a lot. So my cuticles get messy and are very very dry). Came here today to get my nails done. First of all they have very few colors for SNS. That was the first sign. Secondly, the lady doing my nails did them all wrong. I've been getting SNS long enough to know all the steps and she did NONE of them. When they were done they were a horrible yellow tinted color. Almost as if I had been getting in the tanning bed (which I don't do) or something. Just horrible experience all the way around. I loved vn but it has quickly became the worst nail salon in Ellijay. The girls that take care of all pedicures, gel polish, and sns are SO rude. They rudely ask what you want and do the absolute least they can do. The owner works everyday and seems to not care how customers are treated. They also have zero patience for children. I do not recommend. Lucky nails is amazing. I would much rather wait 30min for good service and than ever come back to VN. read more

We were up here for our family vacation and the girls wanted to get a pedicure. The only nail salons with good reviews were booked. So we figured we give this place a shot. The facilities are okay, clean and stereotypical of these types of nail salons. There were four workers and lots of nail colors. Typically I get gel polish, but it's an EXTRA $25 for it at this place. When the lady told me, she also said it in a tone that made it obvious she didn't want to do it. So I went with regular polish. The actual pedi itself was fine for three out of the four of us and probably deserves four stars. My mom's deserves one star. The customer service is why they received one star. My mom's tech was very rude and was not very receptive to her request to fix many mistakes she made. I included a pic of her "better" foot for your viewing pleasure. Overall, the techs are meh and lack any type of personality at all. They act as if you are inconveniencing them by being a customer. The guy is probably the nicest. The chubby, young girl is the rudest. You can tell they are here to pay the bills if you know what I'm saying. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I heard Lucky Nails was better. I'm local but must agree with Angelia C. The one time I went here is because Lucky was booked. They we're absolutely 'put out ' to have to serve yet another customer who PAYS THEIR PAYCHECK. Not impressed , at all. Won't be back , nor recommend. Sloppy service at best.(When a local says that , it's BAD.) You DO get what you pay for , except here ...then you get completely unacceptable service. Go where the locals go, Lucky OR just go to Luxur Nails in Woodstock at the mall . They made my nails look so bad, it looks like a blob on my nail and not like a actual nail. The guy didn't fill in my whole nail you can see a inch of my nail above the quick. The nails are not flat they are bumped up. I do not recommend to come here if you want your nails actually done then get them done at the nail place by Walmart they never let you done. read more

Received a very good pedicure last week. The technician took her time and it was very relaxing. She also did my SNS nails and she was excellent. My nails are shaped nicely and look very uniform. She was experienced with the powder application and ensuring the thickness. So glad to have this level of skill in the area. Now I have a go to salon when we are in town! Thank you! read more
