On vacation from Florida and was looking very forward all week to a nail treatment and a manicure for my 90 year old mother. Went online and saw this location was rated a 4.1 and was close by. My nails came out fine, but at the end of my mother's manicure she said, that was the worst manicure I ever had (don't say anything to them). They looked as if the nails were barely filed, the cuticles weren't pushed back, and it looked lazy for lack of a better term. This was coming from someone who has never said one word about a poor nail service. When I asked that it be fixed the owner fixed it (tried to make an excuse that her nails were dry) but still corrected it. The nail Technician was not happy that I had complained, glared at me, and loudly kept arguing with the owner in Vietnamese. I don't understand the language but I do understand poor behavior and a bad customer experience. The owner didn't charge us for the manicure and that made the situation escalate with more yelling. Dip powder was horrible. The tech out like 5-6 layers of powder on then didn't even them out. She was distracted the entire time and rude when I made a comment about how thick they were. read more

WEAR A MASK! On Sat 1/7/23 the male nail tech was coughing the entire time he was doing my nails and on Monday 1/9/23 I tested positive for COVID. I recommend wearing an N95 mask if you go to this place. read more

As far as nail salons go, even for Blue Ridge, this one is poor. The people are nice, however nice attitudes cannot ensure a quality visit. We went in before my sisters wedding, there were 4 of us and we needed a various assortment of manicures and pedicures. I understand that 4 people can be a lot of work at times, but it was a Tuesday afternoon..... After the manis and pedis were complete and dried, about two hours later the paint started chipping off...there was no reason why this should be happening. I have been coming here for years , though only recently on a regular basis. Only had one time where the technician chose the wrong shade and i only noticed it after it was completely finished ( it was a dipping powder polish, so you can't really tell from the powder what final product will be). The gel polish usually stays on , looking good for a minimum of 4 weeks. This past time it started chipping badly after a week and a half. Simply called them up and explained , they had me come in and redid them , no charge. read more

I'm giving a three star rating because of the wait time and no extras offered. However, I'm a total believer that we need to leave our nail care to the Vietnamese. All I needed this time was a polish removal and my nails to be trimmed and buffed. I occasionally give my nails a break with just a trim and a buff. Other salons condition my nails better and buff them to a high shine, which is what I wanted. Also, I've had other salons soak my hands in lotion and a hot mit first. I got exactly what I requested, nothing extra. Sadly, I could have done a better job myself. It was just an average experience, not the usual attention to detail that the Vietnamese are known for. I will go back, as I felt they were well equipped to handle lots of customers. Also, it seems to be a popular little place, especially late morning during a week day. read more

Deserves 0 stars. We called and asked to make an appointment and they said they don't take appointments so that we should just walk in. Then we came and put our names on the list. Waited 40 mins and then the lady came over to tell us that they had to do the people with appointments. DONT GO HERE. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE read more

My daughter and I are in town on business and needed a bit of a touch up on our fingers and toes. We were here several years ago. It is a small family run operation. I found them quite professional, pleasant and well priced. The establishment was clean and has plenty of options in their service menu. Michael was very talented. I'd definitely recommend to others.
