Debbie Foxx cut my hair on January 30, 2024. She asked me to come in earlier than my planned appointment time which I was fine with but then didn't start my appointment until after my original appointment time. I could've came in for my normal time and she still would've been late so I'm not sure why she asked me to come in early. It wasn't a big deal though and I did like how she cut my hair. We discussed that once my gray hair grew in some that we would set up an appointment to let her see how my hair looked and to discuss options on how to color it to blend the gray in with my brunette hair. I normally do not let my gray grow out too far, but I did so that she could see how it grows in. I called and texted her several times and received no response back. After having my text and calls ignored, I thought maybe I had her number saved in my phone wrong so I verified it, but it was correct. Recently, I was at another establishment by the hair salon so I stopped in to see if she was there. I thought this might've just been some kind of misunderstanding and I could talk to her about cutting my hair. The young lady who helped me text Debbie while I was there and gave her my phone number and told her that I wanted to make an appointment for a haircut. Debbie told her that she would be in later that evening and would call me once she knew what she had available. That was 3 days ago and I still have not heard from her yet again. This isn't a normal salon where you can go in and get someone to help you. It seems like everyone is independent and if you don't know who they are, you don't know who to ask for. Both times that I have walked into the salon besides the day I had my appointment there seem to only be one or two people there working so I've never had the opportunity to speak with any other stylists there. I don't even think there is a number to the salon to even call to ask if someone else could cut my hair. I was only offered Debbie's personal cell number. I'm not sure if this is how she normally does business with clients but at this point, I guess I will just find another place to get my hair cut at. It's a shame that Debbie couldn't just tell me that she did not want to cut my hair. I'm assuming that's the reason why her communication is so poor. read more

Taylor is my go to artist for my hair. And I say artist, because she is. She is taking my hair from over processed boxed red, to my natural. She is doing it in stages. The thing is she matches my color so well it is not, a drastic noticeable change. I dont have easy hair. My husband says "She has kind hair, the kind you find on a horses butt." Bless him, but he is right, it's frizzy and swirly, so Taylor does what only an artist can do! She is sweet and amazing. If you have the good fortune to sit in her chair, trust her. read more

Just today, I received a "dry cut" service from this salon. I've been going here for several months, and in the past, I had no major problems with them. HOWEVER, I must now rant about something that is a "pet peeve" of mine. Let me start again by saying that I went in to this local, neighborhood salon for a simple "dry cut" service, which for me, means a straight-line cut, no layers, nothing! I was charged $25.00 for this super-basic, 5-minute service. That in itself isn't the problem...but what is?? Taylor Williams, the girl who did the cut for me, ASSUMED that I was going to tip her 20% for this. At the end of the service, I paid her $30, expecting a $5 change...so that I CAN THEN DECIDE on how much to tip her (I usually tip 15-20%, depending on the service). Well, in her case, she basically pockets the $30, and ASSUMES that I'm giving her a $5.00 tip. When I just stood there, she then asks, "OOOOOH...you want change?!?" (as if I'm expecting something that's not normal...like some Cheap Ass, not willing to automatically hand her over a 20% tip for an elementary-level hair service!!) I then had to actually say, "Yes, I'd like several dollar bills." She then tells me that she only have 2 "Fives". First of all, I only half-way believe that. What salon doesn't carry dollar bills?? Well, MAYBE this salon... This salon barely ever take phone calls, given that they don't even employ a full-time receptionist! I think the stylists may work on an Independent basis, taking own calls thru their voice-mail, etc. So yep, this salon is NOT your typical full-service, high-bar salon. Anyway, that in itself wouldn't be a big problem for me. I've been going here for the past year because I like the quick "dry cut" service they provide...AND they happen to be located very near my home. What IS a problem is the general rude, near-condescending attitude and service by the stylist at hand! This girl expected the full $5 from me...whether that was my intention or not. WOW. How dare she assume that??? Isn't tipping a customer's prerogative?!? This bold ASSUMPTION on her part is just so wrong! I mean, what nerve!!! BTW, I ended up giving her $4.00, over 15% tip...which I personally think is PLENTY for a super-fast, super-easy service which doesn't even involve a shampoo lol. I've experienced this type of obnoxious "I-decide-how-much-tip-I-deserve" stance by other stylists and waiters in my past...so it's a pet peeve of mine. For the record, I think all employees of such "service industries" should realize that when a customer pays you in cash, don't assume that you get the full change. Don't even ASK if you want the money back...but just assume that the customer wants it back (after all, it's their money lol)!! Then, like I said, it's the customer's decision whether or not to tip, or how much to tip. And OH...if it's true that they really didn't have any dollar bills in the salon (and/or with the stylist...should this be independently operated), they should! If this is a legitimate business, there shouldn't be any excuse NOT to have cash available for clients that pay by cash. So there you have it...I had to vent! One thing for sure, I will make sure I don't get this Taylor Williams for my next appointment... should I ever decide to return. read more

Absolutely the most amazing salon I've ever been to the people are very friendly. The Salon is beautiful, clean & they provide a wide range of services I've been going for several years & have been very satisfied with my hair color & cut ever time. This place is terrible - stylists are "independent" and the owner does not care what they do to you. I had to go someplace else to get color and haircut fixed because the stylist simply didn't know what she was doing. I bought a groupon for Vogue Salon and Spa and every time I try to make an appointment and they find out it's a groupon, they give me the cell number of their masseuse Ashland who created the groupon promo. I have been trying to get an appointment with Ashland but she has not returned my calls. It seems like the salon itself won't want to deal with the groupon appointments either. My groupon is about to expire so I am just about ready to file a complaint if I don't get my massage from Vogue Salon and Spa. read more

I really like Vogue. I've had Kristin cut my hair several times and she's very talented. The salon itself is very nice and their prices are pretty in keeping with most other places, only maybe a little cheaper. I've only had my hair cut there so I'm not sure about their other services but I would definitely recommend them for a cut. read more

I booked an appointment online and when I showed up for it, the salon was closed! My appointment was 45 minutes before they were supposed to close for the day. I called and left a messaged telling them about this and no one ever returned my call to apologize or try to reschedule, not that I would have made another appointment there. Bad way to run a business and they will never have me as a customer. read more

We all know how dreadful it is to find a new hairstylist that can meet our needs and desires when we first move to a new state and are in need of a haircut and color. Especially when you're are untrusting and picky as me! Well, luckily for me, I found Taylor Williams! My red color was a certain brand that they did not carry, however, Taylor was able to perfectly match it with the brand that they use! During my last visit, I was on the fence about trying a new cut but Taylor assured me that it would look good, and she was right!!!! I have since moved to Charlotte but still make the trip all the way back to Rock Hill to have Taylor do my hair. She is always so sweet, kind, and respectful during my appointments. Horrible just horrible!! Taylor Williams did my hair cut and color. It was a complete disaster! She was completely unprofessional and nasty to say the least. I didn't feel as if she knew what she was doing at all! Her combs and brushes looked like they haven't been cleaned in quite some time. My scalp is irritated from the color and my hair is dry and damaged along with the fact that it is cut very uneven. No way I'm going back for her to fix it! If you love your hair DO NOT see her! Long review but worth your time if you cherish your hair. I had the worst hair experience of my life here. I have very fine, thin, hair that takes a long time to grow. I had been growing it out for a year and a half and it was finally shoulder length. Due to my hair type I am very nervous to go to just anyone. I should have ran the other way when the stylist, Amanda, greeted me wearing Mickey Mouse pajamas. She informed me it was pajama day. I thought it was cute at first been then I realized that would be indicative of the type of professionalism I would receive. I told her of my hesitation and that I had bad experience with another stylist cutting "holes," in my hair and layers that were very short. She assured me that she had gone to Paul Mitchell hair school and had years of experience so I went ahead with the cut. I am a licensed stylist in New York State and have just moved here and relayed that to her. We talked about schooling, etc, and she led me to believe she understood my concerns and would just give me, "shape." I told her I wanted no more than a half an inch off and I did not really want layers in my hair just a light shaping. As she cut she held my hair in such a way I did not see what she was taking off in the mirror. When she was done I could not tell how short it was because she did not style it only dried it. She asked me if I wanted to go home and style myself as I was a stylist myself. I said that would be fine. She charged me $40 despite not doing a thing to style my hair. At this point I had no idea how bad it was. I gave her a $10 tip since it was the holiday season. When I got home I looked in the mirror and started grabbing my hair and immediately started crying. I had up to six inches taken off in some places!!! She had gave me a butchered layered cut that was not only uneven but left me looking like a bowl cut on top and a mullet on the bottom. I cried for over an hour I was so upset. When my husband contacted Amanda he was angry and left a message saying that he wanted to talk to management right away. She sent him very rude and nasty texts threatening him with her husband. She refused to apologize and repeatedly bashed myself and my husband via text, all the while threatening that if we contacted her again she would send her husband or the police after us. I simply wanted an apology and my money back. I received neither. She was very unprofessional and immature. A friend in NY with over 20 years experience had to fix my hair for me and she was in shock. She took pictures to show hair students what not to do. Bottom line this was horrendous and it will take me another year just to get back to where I was all over a supposed half an inch haircut. Worst experience ever. read more
