She was a complete professional and answered all our questions from scheduling, fees to alternate options even for myself who is a wannabe musician at heart but never had the courage to take up any lessons. This is just sharing my experience with voilin lessons I received here. They assign you a person…read morethat knows violin, but is not specialized in it. The person we had nit pick time with us. You start at exactly the time you are suppose to be there at and you end at that exact time, not a second earlier. The service and lessons feel very impersonal and it was not a good vibe to start lessons. Also, you cannot reschedule your appointment if your child is sick or you cannot attend for a reason. You get a online lesson sent to you, not the one on one you paid for. WAA does explain this to us in the beginning, but at the end, this was one of the many reasons we didn't move forward. If you are looking for violin lessons, look for someone that specializes in only that instrument. We did not get that here.

She is a very understanding, patient, caring and kind teacher. I believe she is able to read my mind because she chooses songs that I listen to and enjoy, like songs from Studio Ghibli and still challenges me with other great pieces. I'm a college student and just started a little over a year ago, and I find myself playing the piano to relax (if I'm not sleeping that is). I still manage to be able to play songs from the great composers such as Bach, Chopin, and Mozart with what little time I can actually practice. So if I can do it, you can do it! :) If you wish to learn piano, now is the time and 10 River is the place to start; you can take piano lessons whether you are a complete novice or a gifted pianist. Just remember that piano is like life, what you get out of it is how much you put into it.

Trying to find a violin teacher who works with people with special needs is not that simple. I am glad we found Lenny. Lenny is always calm and patient. He engages my son during his lesson. My son really enjoys and looks forward to his weekly lesson. He thinks that Lenny is like Bert (in Mary Poppins) since he plays all these musical instruments.

Very patient and gentle even when they get frustrated, as happens when learning a tricky new thing. Lenny is also extremely flexible with lesson times, which made my life so much easier.
