This is one of a few boutiques on the isolated Four Seasons Hualalai property. I'm guessing the only people who shop here are hotel guests, and the goods are accordingly super luxurious--Chloe dresses and Lanvin shoes and lots of jewelry behind glass. There was a large selection of beautiful swimwear, and I was happy to find a lot of it on sale, at 75% off. I found an Eres bikini I loved immediately and was sad to see that they only had one in stock, much larger than what I usually wear. I picked up four other swimsuits one or two sizes bigger than my usual and went to try them on. In the dressing room, I learned that like the Grinch's heart, my pregnant ass had grown three sizes. The plus side here was that I got the swimsuit of my choice--it fit perfectly, and I wore it every day of our trip. I was very pleased with my purchase--I am now a convert to Eres swimwear, and will buy more of it in the future, especially if I can find it for 75% off. I also enjoyed browsing the rest of the store, and the customer service was excellent. If you're staying at the Four Seasons, Seaside Luxe is worth checking out.

The selection is great, but year in and year out, the service gets worse and worse. This time was, the worst it has ever been... The doors were locked even though it was prime open hours (about 4pm). I saw half a dozen customers come to the store and be turned away because the doors were locked. I actually spoke with one the customers, and he said he had been checked the door several times in the past 15 minutes. I called the store, and only then did the girl materialize after about 15 minutes of waiting, and unlock the doors. While in the store, the sales girl made no attempt at helping us with finding product, selecting a size, etc. She made no attempt in any way to be helpful. It was truly amazing. My partner and I could not believe it. This girl was dead inside, and almost ruined a perfect day. I will say that Rip Curl really has to do better and their employee selection. Rip Curl makes wonderful items, and this store is a regular stop for me; they need to find better retail associates. Please! Be warned... Be careful... Parking is great.
