I hired Tony Volo for a trust about a decade ago. He was nice and professional initially and I felt I had picked a trustworthy person. As I left the office he told me to contact him if I needed anything changed. Two weeks later I emailed with a simple change request in regards to my beneficiaries. The response was very rude. I wish I still had the email to paste in this post. Instead of helping me he emailed me a copy of my trust and told me I could do the modifications myself. I ended up finding a new lawyer who took care of my trust needs. She told me my original trust looked like a free online version. However this review is for his assistance in working a long consuming case with a title for my mother's corporation. Its still ongoing but we finally seeing the end of the tunnel. We have gone through a few lawyers and Tony is the one who is patient enough to see this through for us. Furthermore, Tony's rates are reasonable which isn't always the case with lawyers around here. The first thing I must say about this law firm is that they are very professional and courteous. My uncle needed a Loan Modification for his home and a good friend of his recommended that he talked to Volo Law. My uncle does not speak english so I had to come in with him to help translate. The process it self went very smoothly. They took down my uncle's information that was needed for a loan modification, took the time to explain the whole process, and how long it would take. After that, they showed us around the office; it was a relief to see how many people they have working for them and how on top everyone is with their work. The best part about Volo Law is their online updating system. Each client has the ability to log in and see what is going on with their account/file. This review will be updated as I am currently still dealing with Tony and Angela for a short sale of my condo. When we initially listed my condo, we received a decent amount of buyer responses. Tony and Angela were constantly updating me on the situations and replying to any type of contact/ questions almost immediately. Tony was very sympathetic to my needs as my family and I were still living at the condo so they would schedule the viewings around our schedule (late nights and weekends). I absolutely felt confident that I chose the right Realty company to represent me. The initial offer for my short sale fell through and there have not been any buyer responses since. We dealt with Shez Khan for a period of 1 year to obtain a loan modification. My bother and I were involved in helping our mother with this loan modification since she has difficulty understanding some English. Shez guaranteed a loan modification for the price of 5000 which was placed in a escrow account. We were told no money would be touched until the modification went through. They did mention we could take our money out at any point in time. After a year + of dealing with Shez and not getting any news on the modification other than monthly being asked for updated documentation, He called our mother in and asked her to deposit an additional 6000 dollars since they were going to have to hire a ''lawyer'' to push this process through since the bank wasn't responding. It didn't make sense to us so we decided to pull out of the process and deal directly with the bank. At that point my mother was threaten many times with a lawsuit by Shez of Volo Law group. Overall this was a horrible experience. He tried bully us into not pulling out of this deal because we didn't fall for his tricks. BEWARE read more

After asking a couple of very simple questions for information found on the internet on any public site (I was short on time so didn't look it up right away AND thought I might work with the listing agent as we did not have one as yet) I received a rude email in response. I was reprimanded for asking the simple questions as to whether the home was a shortsale or regular sale and told that unless I was an agent I should not ask. At this point I went to a second public website and found the information I was looking for. I was also told that I should not email random agents and ask ambiguous questions. Is this ambiguous? Hello, could you please give me the status on this townhome? How long has it been on the market? Is it a shortsale? Regular sale? Thank you. And I signed my name, and sent it from my personal email address. If I were an agent wouldn't I be acting unethically? If I were an agent wouldn't I have just looked up that very simple information on my own? In the 3 or so emails I have received from Enrique Medellin, he has been more and more rude. When writing a review isnt it best to tell the whole story and not be one- sided or leave out the details where you were at fault.???I think so: When a stranger emails a real estate agent in regards to his listing, and the real estate agent simply asks " Are you an agent or a buyer?", is there something wrong with that? And then the person responds with "what difference does it make, and why cant you answer my questions, this is public info?" and then continues to demand the information and questions the agent for asking simply if they are a buyer or agent, then who is in the wrong??? As a real estate agent, or even simply as a pre-cautious individual, is it wrong for wanting to know who you are talking too via internet or even what their intentions are before giving information? (Info which may be public or even only allowed only for other agents) I have learned in my days, that when you receive a random email and a person does not disclose who they are, then you should take some precautions before answering any questions. Apparently, for the individual in the last review, she was really "short in time" and when asked simply " Are you an agent or a buyer?" SHE WAS NOT HAVING IT!!!! Its always best to tell both sides of the story before trying to make someone look bad in an online review. As an agent there is a lot of liability that you carry when disclosing any information to the wrong person and they come with stiff ramifications. So I would recommend to all, be cautious of who you talk to on the inernet as they may not always have the best intentions....Legal Realty is proud to conduct business in this way, protecting their clients interests, and staying away from potential liability.....there is nothing wrong with that. Horrible lawyer. My parents worked with him for a year on a loan modification. His staff was unprofessional, inattentive, and on the last meeting between my parents and Tony Volo, he disrespected them entirely, was condescending, and said horrible things to them. I have never heard of such an unprofessional, inconsiderate firm. Volo basically called my parents liars and said he's not going to be their father and pay their bills for them when they asked for half of their money back since the firm lost our case. He's a horrible man and lawyer. Plus his staff was inattentive with communicating with the bank we had our loan with. We were aware of updates on our case before they were. A complete waste of money for people that do not care about their clients. Volo's best advice for my parents was to tell them to pay everything they owed to avoid foreclosure. Hello?! If they could afford to pay it they wouldn't have needed a lawyer in the first place. Very rude man and the staff was no better. Take your hard earned cash somewhere else.
