Last night when arriving home and pulling into our garage, the door went down, but a second later there was a loud sound of metal breaking. Looking toward the sound somewhere near the lowered door, I first saw that the steel cables on both sides were hanging down from the top of the door. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the large black springs that are part of the lifting mechanism were now in four pieces rather than two. Their cracking and separation was the cause of the gunshot-like report. Ben was able to replace the springs, reattach the cables, lubricate all joints and hinges and make certain everything was in working order before announcing the job was done. He also examined the other garage door to be sure it was still performing well. Ben owns this company and has an excellent attitude for interacting with new customers. We were able to come to an agreement on price quickly that satisfied both of us. I watched him work and observed his skill and professionalism first hand. I was completely satisfied. Before he left, we exchanged business cards, smiling that we might have need for each other's services in the future. Five Service Stars for Continental Door Services.
