It was updated a few times as I was shopping. This is great as you get to see the pups, parents, development as well as availability. The facility it self is very clean and all of the puppies are well maintained. I was initially asked by my vet "if the breeder seemed to know what they were doing" and I was able to answer confidently YES! The puppies were well groomed and bathed, and all taken care of . Nicole was very kind and responsive throughout the whole process. No question is unanswered, and she is honest about the puppies available. I can't thank her enough for the care package she sent us home with and the care she has for her litters. Even down to a "welcome home" package that really hooked us up. She really cares about the puppies and the homes they go to. This means a lot to me!! As far as the puppy I got, she is a dream. While the standard poodles are acclaimed for their intelligence, mine has been a more than responsive to training. Compared to other breeds I have had, this one had been a breeze to raise. These poodles are people magnets and charmers. People can't walk past her without asking for a pet!! This time, we were clearly told that they would not groom her because she has three legs and that it was "store policy." What is frustrating is that no one could explain why she had been accepted in the past but was now being refused. If the policy has changed, customers deserve a clear explanation. Our dog is friendly, healthy, and has always done well during her grooming appointments. We understand that safety is important, but refusing to groom a dog solely because she has three legs, after previously providing the service, was very disappointing. We hope management reviews this policy and provides better communication and consistency for customers with special-needs pets.

I usually just order them via their website. Their cake designer always comes through when I throw ideas her way on what I'm thinking. I immediately took a stool sample to the lab, and found she had an intestinal parasite usually found in the feces of other dogs, but it was a common one, and easily fixed. No big whoop, tho at $2800 for my pup, I feel they should have done the testing in advance....not I. My added expense was small, but bothersome. Odd how they do the paperwork I must say. You get a packet at pickup, but before then they email you a bunch of stuff that they presume you to have read and agreed to. But the email doesn't come from Winchester Goldens, it comes from "Ron....", so mine went to junk. The contract itself is not thorough. It should all be integrated, not come in bits and pieces. And somewhere it says you have to take pup to a vet within 5 days for the guarantee to be valid, but who the heck can get an appointment that soon??? It seems more like a firewall than anything else. And this provision ignores the Puppy Lemon Law, I feel. Make sure to require Puppy Lemon Law disclosures in advance. Anyway, I would trust these people again. I believe they care, and are knowledgeable. 3 and a half stars, I feel. Maybe 4.

This review is for the Petco doggie self wash station as well as the Groomers who trimmed my dogs…read moreclaws. This is a hidden gem and only certain Petco have them. I'm glad my local Petco has this. You have to pay at the dog groomer cash register. The station itself has 3 tubs and beware the floor's are wet! You will also get very wet even though they provide you with an apron which is nice. They do provide the doggie shampoo but we bought flea shampoo at Petco. The whole process is pretty easy. Dogs don't like it but it beats doing it at home. It is far more affordable doing it yourself than at the groomers. I also inquired about nail clipping which they worked us in quickly which I appreciate!
