My dog was permanently expelled from their daycare due to supposed "behavior issues" that appeared out of nowhere. I was never informed of any issues until just this past week, when they gave him two "strikes." Today, they issued a third strike simply because I requested a more detailed incident report to better understand what was happening. Instead of addressing my concerns, the staff claimed that my request for clarification was "threatening." Asking for facts and transparency should never be viewed as a threat. I even sent an email requesting a call from the owner, but my message was ignored. Instead, I was told that both my dog and I are permanently banned from the premises. The most contradictory part? They claim my dog is too "aggressive" for daycare or boarding, yet stated they would still provide him with medical care if needed. If he were truly a danger, how would they safely provide care? The inconsistency is both alarming and unprofessional. Never in a million years would I have thought that asking for facts about my dog's care and behavior could be twisted into something negative. My dog Dixie had eye surgery that cost over $700, and her eye actually looked worse afterward. When I asked about it, I was told they "didn't want to be too aggressive" and that she would now need a second surgery -- for another $600-700. In my opinion, this should have been handled correctly the first time. With my other dog, Mila, I brought her in several times for yeast infections in her ears and paws. I later discovered the medications I was being sold were not for yeast at all but were steroids and allergy meds. At one visit, I was charged over $180 for treatment that provided no relief, and at another, I was told her painful ear hematoma would not be drained -- despite the fact they had drained the other ear in the past with no issues. Instead, they tried to push me toward a surgery I didn't feel was necessary. On top of this, their office practices are unprofessional. I was once left on hold for 10 minutes before being hung up on, and when I called back, I was treated with attitude. Even more concerning, when I asked for my pets' medical records, I was told they couldn't release them until the doctor approved it -- which is not accurate, as owners are legally entitled to their pet's medical history. I also asked for a list of her vaccinations , I was given only a "reminder list" of vaccines, not the actual records, and was left waiting while the vet walked past me multiple times. Only after I left did I receive a text saying the full records were suddenly "ready for pickup." (30 minutes later , mind you I waited 10 minutes in their office before the other Vet who I was on the phone with making an appointment for Mila, told me they would request them and to leave. Yes they heard the conversation as well) In my opinion, this clinic seems more focused on upselling expensive procedures than actually helping pets. I have since moved my animals' care to another veterinary clinic where my concerns are taken seriously and my dogs receive proper treatment. However, recently I purchased an add-on collar for a 2nd dog on my PetSafe in-ground containment system. The product looked identical to what I needed, but was not compatible. The store refused to allow me to return it because the package was opened, even though I had a receipt and it was within one week of purchase. They won't accept returns on anything electronics, even if completely unused. They told me to call PetSafe, but the manufacturer won't accept it because I didn't purchase directly. I'm now out $160, unless I can recoup some funds via ebay. I've primarily been shopping there for the last couple years only to support a local business. I really can't believe they have left me hanging on this, rather than just accept the product and deal with the back office work of handling a return. When I conveyed that I just like supporting someone local, the clerk responded with, "you ARE supporting us [with this sale], we just can't take it back because the package is opened. Give PetSafe a call." What a joke. Feel free to be a patron, but you better know what you're purchasing because they ultimately don't care.

She also didn't let me go to the back where my dog would be staying. Groomer smelled like weed. But the smell was overwhelming from lack of cleaning. After taking my dog in and her getting a clean bill of health on June 8th on June 19th I had to take her back in for excessive bleeding in her mouth, thinking maybe she had an infected tooth we were given the crushing news that she had an aggressive tumor growing in her jaw. We were told of our few options, and we went home with a couple of prescriptions and agonized over what to do. After spending a day or two crying, having to watch my poor baby continuously bleeding from her mouth(at times heavily) we sadly made the decision to end her suffering. Wanting her to go peacefully, at home and in her own bed My husband spent days building her a box and digging a grave (in the rain) for her forever home. We went in on the 23rd and tried to make an appointment for June 26th but we were told they could not be here until June 27th so we spent a very emotional week waiting for what we hoped would be a peaceful transition but what we endured was an excruciating ordeal that I'm not sure we will ever recover from. After taking care of my baby for years and knowing her size and weight they neglected to bring enough tranquilizer to put her to sleep. She was terrified and when they tried to give it to her she started to get up and the vet just jabbed it into her, making her cry out in pain. Instead of maybe leaving the room to let her calm down they waited a few minutes and preceded to give her the next 2 shots as my husband held her, I had to look into those terrified eyes while they did this. The only words from the vet (Dr Knick) was "she's gone" and the young lady with her mumbled "sorry for your loss" as they walked out the door. I am sharing my story because I don't want anyone else to have to endure this. Maggie gave us almost 10 years of unconditional love and I had to watch her leave here in terror instead of peace and I don't know if we will ever get over that look in her eyes, she deserved so much better than that! I call first just to make sure they are not totally full. You put your dog in the bathtub, hook them up to the side and start washing. They have different shampoos that you can use, the suds come out of the hose, or you can use your own shampoo if you prefer. They provide brushes, curry combs, ear wipes, toothbrushes, towels, and aprons for your use. When you finish washing they have a great dryer that has different settings. In the front where you pay they have different items for sale, grooming supplies, collars, leashes, candles, etc. They also do grooming themselves. Personally, I wash my pup and they work on his nails. They do great with him. If you plan on going regularly they have a wash bundle savings card. I have been rescuing animals for over 30 years including feral cat clinics, transports, dog/cat and…read moresmall animal rehabilitation etc. This is one of the cleanest and most well run places. They animals are in great condition and they genuinely care about the animals. They go over and above every day. The cats are not kept in cramped cages but allowed to move around freely in the bigger rooms. I adopted two cats and a dog from here. When I went to pick the first kitty up during the adoption, several people came up to me to give him a last hug. My second kitty developed a very bad virus and ended up needing special care. They literally took care of him for four weeks until he was well and I could come get him and bring him home. Very well run facility with exceptional staff and management!
