Sarah at the office answered our questions by email/ text within the business day, sometimes faster. All health and genetics documents related to mom and dad were shared. While prciing might be on the higher side, there were no hidden costs. Everything was handled with transparency, and with full respect for personal preferences and decisions (not pushy). We needed to board/ train our baby because we could not pick her up right away at 9 weeks. The trainers Wendy and Toby were fabulous and kept us updated on her condition/ progress. She was crate trained, learned threshold, leave it/ drop it, and slept well, socialized to little children and other dogs, making the transition to our home so much nicer. I actually slept that first night because Dumpling slept through it in her crate!! We flew out from southern California to pick her up - Gotcha Day was so much fun! They make it such a nice fun experience. Smeraglia Farm is also just so picturesque with its white buildings against the lush Alabama greenscape. We mentioned that my daughter was inspired to name our baby Dumpling after a highland cow she saw on social media. Angie (Sherri's sister) then brought us to a neighbor down the street to visit with their highland cows and another home to visit with the lambs and rabbit! They truly are like family here - so kind. We spent 2 nights at Mon Sherri Cottage. It is such a cute place! My daughter and niece loved it!! It also allowed us to get to know our baby to prep for the cross country flight back home. Highly recommend this business. Sherri seems to be a brilliant business woman, and you can just tell that everyone associated are proud of the brand and love their dogs and pups.
