I chose this breeder because they are local and had excellent reviews, so they seemed reputable. When I picked up my kittens, everything appeared normal, though the owner did seem a bit frazzled and did not have their paperwork, harnesses, or the second bag of food ready. As a small business owner myself, I understand that things can get hectic, but she assured me these items would be mailed within the week. I also understand that if there's a personal emergency, it can sometimes be hard to communicate that to clients when you're running things yourself, so I am trying to allow for a bit of grace in case there is something going on that I am unaware of. However, it has now been nearly two months and I still have not received the missing products or registration paperwork. I also have not received any response to my emails or text messages despite multiple attempts to follow up. I also noticed that their website domain name suddenly changed and they deleted their google reviews, which has added to my concern about the legitimacy of this business. While both are beautiful, one of the kittens ended up having coccidia which required immediate treatment - which leads me to believe they were never checked out by a vet prior to me picking them up. I also believe they were far too young at 6 and 9 weeks for me to bring them home, as the youngest had issues eating and I had to feed her with a syringe. The lack of communication and having a lot of unanswered questions is frustrating and disappointing after what initially seemed like a positive experience. At this point, I do not believe they are F1 bengals, as the owner claimed as no proof or paperwork was ever provided.
