Two pieces of dried chicken. Couldn't eat them had to throw them away. Second time this happens

I purchased some fried chicken from the deli. And it was dry. I told the guy to be sure it was fresh chicken, but it looked like it had been sitting there for a long time. It was very very dry. Had to throw it away. I purchased two legs.

I was in downtown LA for jury duty and stopped here before heading to the court to grab something to eat. Didn't see sushi and didn't have enough time to spare, so I just grabbed something out of the ready-to-go food counter: croissant with tuna salad inside. I did the job of filling up my stomach for the next 2-3 hours. This is a smaller Vons, but you will probably still find anything you seek. Set checkout available. Free, easy parking.

The smell is terrible inside could smell it through my mask. I recommend this location if you want to be in a smelly place, with rude workers then sure shop here. I came in only for koolaid which no one could tell me which isle it was on. So I found it - on the drinks isle .. I got granola & saw it would be cheaper with a membership number. So I thought I'd sign up I stood in line where someone lane and light was on. They turned off the light on her lane after I put my 3 packets on the belt and she had picked up the it's to scan. The lady who had to leave was ready to scan my items but Adriana came around and told me " this lane is closed maam" I said I'm waiting to get all my items to be able to pick them up and more to a diff register - All this as I'm asking about how to become a von's member to the now closed cashier. As told I follow Adriana to her register when there's already a Customer who's putting her items on the belt (at this point if I didn't need tho packets to make this drink I wanted to make from tiktok I would've just left) - I say excuse me to the customer and let her know I was instructed to be here in this line. Then she scans my items and tells me to input my number & I let her know had I got better service today I would've signed up. She had an attitude, slammed my cash in my hand n looked away. Just rude. I won't be returning.

The guy who is a Shame to Vons

So it was around 8 pm December 1st I came for shopping, I have had incidents where my bicycle has got stolen and cops helped me recover it so from then I usually take my bicycle with me into stores like Ralphs, Home depot, Target, etc. this was my second time in Vons on the same day earlier when I came I was told humbly where I can leave my bike and can go to shop by a gentleman with glasses, But when the second time I came I parked my bike at the same spot as I was told but I was intervened by a different guy at the entrance, his attitude was not acceptable first of all he was shouting at the top his lungs from far away calling Aye Aye Aye Aye like as if I was his pet DOG or some ANIMAL! Only to tell me to park my bike in a different place where I was initially doing when I came earlier which would block some alcohol products. Listening to him I had no more desire to keep my bike inside I risked to park it outside. When entering I confronted him and I tried to tell him " you could have told me a " little more ahead please " to which he arrogantly replied I don't know your name ! That gave me a sense of his intellect, He lacks Vocabulary and he is Judgy. He could have used words like Sir, Boss, Hello, Mister, or walk close to me and tell me personally don't park here a little more ahead or something non Racist, he should be trained better because he is the wrong image for a business and It was a pathetic experience. Later he was wondering around gossiping which proves he was not forced to indicated to stay at the same place as was free enough to walk to people, but he didn't took any of his effort towards my situation rather was shouting as if it was a Fish Market in some third world country. Please give a look to this situation and he must be given counseling. He clearly lacks manners HIS NAME IS Tanner

Not much food left too but.

Was hard to shop, with the shelves rather empty. The prices were also up, more than say...Ralph's. But it is convenient. Trouble is, not much there. For instance, go look at sports drinks and find that there are very few bottles, mainly just enough to place a row across the front. Luckily, produce was good and the staff nice. The staff is why I gave 3 stars, the pulled it up from 2, almost a one! I really enjoy the people here. I'd say this place is good for a few items, but for a weekly shopping trip, or bi-monthly if you're like me, it's best to go a bit out of the way.

Nelson, acting like he's better than me.

Their marinated galbi short ribs are delicious, their marinade tastes like restaurant quality. There's also a good selection of marinated meats. I had just come back from going…read moreout and ran into my mom in front of the elevator, and she asked me to go to the market with her. But honestly, this place is absolutely terrible and horrible. Both my mom and I agreed that we will never come back here again. My mom had come to get a refund because one of the pears she bought the day before was completely rotten. The market manager refunded $2 to her credit card, which was fine. The real problem started after that. When my mom was trying to drive out of the parking lot, the gate bar went up after scanning the parking ticket, but then suddenly came crashing down. If my mom hadn't quickly backed up, it could have hit her car. The bigger issue was that after that, the gate bar never went back up again. Cars behind us had to use another exit nearby. My mom, who was very shaken, went to ask the market manager what to do, but she said she didn't know. (At first, I stayed in the car and had to tell the cars behind us to use the other exit because the gate was not working). I was very upset when I heard that, so I went inside and asked the manager for the building management's contact number. She gave me a number, but when I called, the person who answered kept saying she couldn't find the address even after I repeated it more than ten times. Eventually, she told me they no longer manage that building. So I asked her to provide the contact number for the property management that handles the building, and she gave me another number. but it led to an automated system. After selecting the emergency option, a man answered, but even after I clearly spelled out "Zion" multiple times (Z as in Zebra, I as in Ice cream, O as in Oscar, N as in Nancy), he still couldn't understand and then told me that they no longer manage the building and hung up. We arrived at the market around 5 PM and didn't get out until 7 PM. No one helped us at all. After the call, I went back to the market manager again, but she still said she didn't know anything. It made me so angry--how can a manager not even know the property management contact for the building they work in? I also have low blood sugar, so when I get hungry, I start shaking. I ended up buying a piece of bread from the Paris Baguette inside the market. I didn't have cash with me, so I had to pay $3.50 with my card, but thankfully, the staff there was very kind. In the end, my brother had to come all the way from Burbank to get a new parking ticket for us so we could finally get out--after two hours. If he hadn't come, we might have been stuck there even longer or had to abandon the car. Thinking about it now still makes me extremely angry. The customer service is terrible, the building management is a mess, and there was no security at all. I never want to come back to this place. We spent two hours there, from 5 PM to 7 PM, completely wasting our time. Because of this, I couldn't do anything I had planned for the rest of the afternoon and evening. It was an absolute nightmare. My mom was also very upset and couldn't believe a place like this exists. FYI) Every time I come to this market, there is absolutely no cell phone signal., which is another major downside.

Similar to other Asian market set ups you'll be able to pick up hot food and other items like sashimi as well as other Japanese snacks and goodies. I also happened to pick up some good protein shakes on sale there as well as noted some other staples that I would find in big chain supermarkets. I found the aisles to be well stocked. Prices everywhere are going up so I wouldn't say this is the cheapest place to shop but for what you get it's not bad, and if you are looking to get a variety of what you need for Asian cooking this is a good spot for it. Service was quick and friendly at the register as this no frills and casual market. There is a parking garage behind the grocery as part of the mall but it can get crowded on weekends so if you're lucky you can find street parking but watch for street signs and some areas and streets are not in the best neighborhoods adjacent so be wary of your surroundings.

I asked her how things worked and she explained it all. The kefir/kombucha bottles are $4 for 16 oz and they have 3 of each on tap. I asked Marcy about one before realizing everything had a QR code and you can easily pull up the ingredients and descriptions/directions for each item. I'm getting away from plastics and this place scratches me right where I itch! They sell just about anything you can imagine! I was so impressed w the selection! They even have produce and fresh sourdough bread! The day old is 50% off and I'm so mad I was in a pinch and had to buy store bought bread, otherwise I would've tried it today. I can't say enough. Even the music was fire and I was shazaming and jamming. Shower gels, body care, non seed oils, baking mixes, laundry pods and things you see in bulk at like Sprouts, but the quality and sourcing seems to be better. Some items don't need jars and they sell paper bags for .10 each. I did a kombucha/kefir tasting. Marcy brought these steel bowls over. No waste at all! If you drink the POG kefir soda at Erewhon and love it, try it here! It's made w fruit and is noticeably better! And POG there is my fave. Just try it at Re_!!! So when I was checking out I asked Marcy about being more prepared and bringing my own glasses next time. They've thought of everything!!!! There's iPads and scales in the front of the store. They weigh your empty containers and give you a sticker with the tare weight and then subtract it from the weight at the end! Revolutionary! They add 3% for the employees. I should've added more. Marcy was amazing and worth it. I'm honestly not big on tipping everyone for just breathing but if all the employees are like Marcy, they are worth way more than 3%! If you sign up you get 100 points instantly, $1 = 1 pt, and at 200 pts you get $10! It's not hard to spend in places like this but it's beyond worth it. I keep seeing things about the harms of plastic and don't get me started on all the other crap in our food. I foresee this as a new staple in my diet and home. They even have cleaning products! I'm getting my spices here from now on too! I'm a fan and I'll be back! Thank you Marcy and to the owners that had this amazing idea!
