She also straight up lied, saying she had been in that specific type of practice for 10 years, and she JUST got her doctorate degree in August of 2022, and became a nurse in 2018. She said the tests were because she feared my son had some ridiculous disease that would harden his esophagus and require a feeding tube in about three years. They NEVER answer the phone, and when you call asking about an X-ray that they hadn't received because they can't put the correct information on their orders, they act like you're bothering them.. they also did not have a clue how to request medical records from another medical facility. They told me that the other facility needed my signature when they actually only needed to fax a request form and they don't require a signature from a guardian when it's from one medical facility to another. I don't claim to be a doctor, but if they had all that schooling I think they should at least know how to get medical records from another facility. As a parent, I highly recommend going far far away from here. UK healthcare in Lexington also accepts Medicaid, and has a pediatric GI specialist that isn't going to put your child through the traumatic unnecessary testing, and they don't act like it's a problem when you call. Also, they almost ALWAYS answer the phone, too. Would definitely recommend literally ANYWHERE ELSE.

This has been my worst experience yet with a gastro dr. I have been to many over the years and this…read moreone by far takes the cake. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional drs office! I went in desperate for some help and left so aggravated. They wouldn't schedule a colonoscopy/endoscopy together, they wouldn't tell me what my out of pocket would be for the procedures, they didn't even call to tell me what my blood results were after they were received. I had to send a separate email asking for those results to me mailed to my home. Leaving the office that day, I had a receipt showing a $0 balance and then received a letter in the mail for $50 balance. I wouldn't recommend this office at all! It had been nothing but a waste of a day off work and a waste of money! Even after all of that, I have been pointed out as the bad person this entire time. I was given a medication that "may not even help". Common sense says when you give something that may not work, you don't call in a 3 month supply of it. You call in a month and see if it works and then go from there. That said possibly working medication was $120 after insurance. This whole ordeal has been nothing but a money scam. Please do yourself a favor...and go elsewhere.
