I would be scheduled every Monday at 2:30, sometimes I would get right in other times I would have to wait along with others for a long period of time. One time I showed up to my appointment ( I live 20 minutes away) and his wife said that Dr.True had a doctors appointment and wouldn't be back for an hour, even though I had scheduled this appointment weeks ago. The layout of his office is very strange, and his equipment looks pretty used. He has two separate work spaces with two different beds and one looks nicer and cleaner than the other but somehow he never uses that room. Dr. True and his wife are super nice and welcoming, but something about them is off. They're strange in a way, kind of creepy. Anyways, his work. The first session I had with him was the longest, mostly because he tried to talk to me about other things besides my actual back issues. I have psoriasis and a tumor (non-cancerous) and he tried telling me what was best for those even though I have my own doctors for those things. He wasn't focusing on the main problem why I was there, he started acting like a jerk a little bit when he was trying to act like he knew what was best for me after only knowing my name. Anyways, this first session lasted a good hour, the rest of them, I'm lucky to get 30 minutes of his time. Usually most of the time spent is laying on the wonderful water bed they let you relax one when your session is over. Earlier I mentioned how on the first day, the only thing he knew was my name... well, I don't believe going every week for a month if he even remembered that. He would always forget my job, my name, my age, where my pain was located, and what we did the previous week. They do not work with very many patients, I see the same people there every week and most of the time their tiny parking lot is empty. My back got a little better over time but not because of his work, but because of my will to get back into exercising. I did the healing on my own. The cracking would be resolved in the moment, but when I stood up to compare how it felt before the session, there really was no difference. I tried telling him and explaining that I thought it was nerve pain and it was something the cracking couldn't help but he denied it was that without any X-rays or proof. He stated all we needed to do was to stretch and strengthen and it would eventually get better. One month later I realized it wasn't going to get better so I gave up and started working out a lot, taking long walks and it started feeling better instantly. When he completes your 10 minute talking to you and popping your back twice session, and your 15 minute waterbed session-it was time to check out. When I go to my other speciality doctors they check me in and have me review my insurance and personal information to see if there is anything I need to change, they run my insurance and I pay my co-pay right then and there ( or it's eventually mailed to my address ) then I wait until my name is called. Normal, right? Well this check in- check out process is a little different. To "check-in" all it consists of is something called an "improvement sheet". This basically asks you your personal info and a chart that asks you to describe how you are feeling compared to last appointment (better-worse 1-10). Don't waste your time and fill these out, they don't read them. Even if they do they lose them or just ask you anyways. You would assume they would keep these papers in a folder for you along with the insurance and personal Information, right? Wrong. When you approach the check out desk there is multiple patients personal information just scattered everywhere. They make you sign a HIPAA form but they don't follow it themselves. Not to mention the receptionist ( his wife ) asked me what my usual co-pay for speciality doctors was. Isn't she supposed to know this? She hasn't even charged my insurance, she just agreed on a $25 co-pay every appointment. Very VERY sketchy. These are the reasons why I don't recommend this chiropractor. I want privacy, I want a family friend relationship, I want to be treated for more than 15 minutes, and I want a chiropractor that care about helping me. Overall I want professionalism. 2/5 stars. Would NOT recommend.

My son had a psychological testing appointment scheduled for 1:00 PM on May 26 after waiting approximately 5-6 months to be seen (scheduled December 17, 2025) Prior to his appointment, we completed numerous forms and questionnaires. We arrived 15 minutes early, only to be given additional paperwork and assessments to complete. Although the appointment was scheduled from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, my son was not called back until around 1:30 PM. His appointment with Matthew Davis lasted only about 30 minutes. As a parent seeking answers for my child, I was extremely disappointed. I even offered to show videos of my son's stimming behaviors because I believed they could provide valuable information during the evaluation process. Matthew declined to view them. To provide some background, my son is 5 years old and will soon be 6. We originally had an evaluation scheduled through UK HealthCare during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the appointment was repeatedly rescheduled due to pandemic-related limitations. At that time, we chose to wait and see whether some of our concerns would resolve as he matured. Regardless of any diagnosis, he has always been--and will always be--our son, and our love and support for him are unconditional. However, as he has grown older and entered school, it has become increasingly important for us to obtain answers so we can better understand his needs, support his learning, advocate for appropriate resources, and help him succeed both academically and socially. Our goal has never been to obtain a specific diagnosis, but rather to gain a clearer understanding of how to best support our child. Because of that, I have a difficult time understanding how meaningful conclusions can be reached regarding a possible autism spectrum diagnosis after spending only 30 minutes with a child, especially when the scheduled testing window was two hours long and we had waited months for the appointment. My ex-husband and I were not seeking a particular diagnosis--we simply wanted answers that could help our son moving forward. I contacted the office on Thursday (5/28)to express my concerns. I was told the office manager was unavailable, but the receptionist assured me my concerns would be passed along. After receiving no response, I called again on Monday (6/1) and was told someone would contact me that day. The office manager, Sam, eventually called and listened to my concerns, stating she would speak with Matthew and call me back. Unfortunately, I never received that follow-up call as on today 6/18. To be clear, the testing results have not yet been provided, so this review has nothing to do with whether I agree or disagree with the outcome. My concerns are entirely about the process, the limited amount of time spent with my child, and the lack of follow-through regarding my complaints. Ultimately, I decided to schedule a new evaluation elsewhere because I want a provider who takes the time necessary to thoroughly assess my child. I spent more time completing paperwork than the evaluator spent interacting with my son. The entire experience felt like a waste of time after waiting months for the appointment. I also intend to contact my insurance company to ensure billing accurately reflects the services that were actually provided and the time allowed to my son that day. Most importantly, this is my child. As his parent, I will always advocate for him when something does not feel right, and this experience left me with serious concerns about the evaluation process and the level of communication provided afterward.

There is one receptionist and one specialist (business owner). After being called back to the exam room, I then received a 15 minute lecture on "fraud, waste and abuse" in the hearing aid industry by people getting hearing aids that don't really need them. The specialist told me her father was fbi and her husband was a cop and that she herself had contacted the attorneys to find out how she could help stop said "waste, fraud and abuse" and that if she discovered it someone would be in handcuffs. I was very uncomfortable and couldn't understand why she was telling me all this. We moved on to the actual exam and I was told that my hearing loss was mild to moderate but that my brain preferred and understood words better when they were louder. The specialist then said that it's not required of her and most companies don't have a minimum but she always contacts the insurance companies to ask what the minimum requirement is before ordering the aids. I thought, why? Why are you inserting yourself into the contract I have with my healthcare agency when there's no reasonable excuse to do so. As I was checking out the specialist came back to the receptionist desk and asks me, if I got my dual (Medicare/medicaid) insurance from the exchange? I answered I don't know. She said my son has MS so that's why he gets his dual plan so I was wondering what your circumstances are for you to get it. This threw up RED flags of hippa violations and harassment. I made up my mind at that point that this specialist was not in the healthcare system to help people, she was trying to police it and actively looking for reasons to turn them in for violations she herself had invented. I told the receptionist to stop the process and not to order the aids as I was not willingly giving my benefit money to this business. She asked was there a problem and I said yes but I'd be discussing it with my insurance and the licensing board. I have since made a formal complaint to both. Avoid this business if you value your privacy and actually want a comprehensive unbiased, unfettered hearing exam and prefer not to be interrogated about utilizing healthcare benefits you've paid for.
