The tube slide was AWESOME, I just wish there was a way to get the tubes easily up the stairs or back up the ramp so mom's and dad's wouldn't have to schlep them up there. I was SWEATING because of course my son wanted to go again and again! Everything was clean and in relatively good condition. I liked that they had some dress up items for the kiddos. Though it is a more narrow space, there was plenty of space for the kids to climb and explore. I did not love that they had arcade games in the back, specifically one with giant machine guns. Is that appropriate for a children's indoor playground? I brought my kid here to go on slides and bounce on a trampoline, not shoot aliens with a giant machine gun. The whole place is so cute with animals hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls but the video games take away from that cute and innocent aesthetic. Food for thought for management!

We arrived at around 11 am on a Monday morning and found parking relatively easy- I think we were one of two families there which made it easy. There is a very small parking lot just outside the entrance and street parking. We entered through a really fun gift shop and made our way in. They have many exhibits of foxes, monkeys, birds, reptiles, and other small-to-medium sized animals to learn about. Each exhibit provided a learning display. We made our way through the "center" in just under two hours- really taking out time at each exhibit. Wr only noticed a couple of other families with littles as well, making it super easy to move through. While we say snakes foxes parrots and more, we don't see the giraffe . We did learn while we were there though that the giraffe was just visiting as it was being trained by the nextdoor business for television!!! Apparently that's a thing. Love L.A.! Ideal place for little kids! They have space for private parties, benches to enjoy a packed lunch (byobag situation), and a theater-education space where I believe they have events/activities, although we didn't see any. To make matters worse, we paid extra for a Mickey Mouse character appearance, expecting something special for the kids. Sadly, the costume and presentation were extremely poor -- it looked like a random outfit put together at the last minute with an odd Mickey head, rather than a proper character experience. It honestly felt like an afterthought rather than a service we paid additional money for. We paid full price for the party and even added a 15% tip, so this level of service was very disappointing. I truly regret choosing this venue and, based on our experience, I would not recommend it to others.
