We won four hours of organizing services from Lisa at The Time Butler at a charity auction…read more We put off calling Lisa for a few months, but we eventually got around to making the appointment for a two-hour visit. I stalled by giving her a tour of the house, which took up most of the time, but she did "encourage" us to clear off the kitchen table -- we filled up a couple of bags of paper during that exercise. She returned a couple of weeks later, and we used up the other donated hours. On that visit, we cleared out the media shelves in the family room, uncovered the coffee table, and rediscovered the desk. We also filled up several bags of stuff (books, VHS tapes, magazines, toys, and who knows what else) which were suitable for charitable donations -- and Lisa took it all away. She's been back twice since then, helping us deal with the shelves and desk in the kitchen, all of which are organized, clear, and usable for the first time in a long time. And again, we donated a bunch of stuff to charity (as well as filling a recycle bin!). In between visits, I got rid of some excess hardware by putting it on craigslist (most of it sold within an hour); I've also started transferring old VHS tapes to DVD (though why I needed a DVD version of King Dinosaur is a matter of some debate with the rest of the members of the household). There's no magic to it -- we're doing all the work (well, she wields the labelmaker...) and making all the decisions. But she acts as a forcing function -- when she hands us a pile to go through, it seems silly to just put it back where it was (though "later" is always a valid decision -- and I've deferred some things by moving them to a room we haven't reached yet). I'm happy we won her services, and happier that I finally got around to calling and making the appointment!

She has the ability to look at a situation that needs organizing like a puzzle, and in a short period of time she can solve the puzzle. She completely organized our kitchen so that it works efficiently according to our needs. She found containers to organize all the drawers that we didn't even know existed. It was like walking into a new kitchen that felt familiar, but was so much easier to use. This was all done in a record amount of time. She reorganized my office by moving the furniture and adding shelving to make the room more user friendly and more attractive. It was a vision that I could not see before she did her magic. The room feels more spacious even with more furniture. We felt that Debbie was one of the best investments we made during our remodel and move. We have used Debbie for other projects that we just don't seem to have time to do. For example, she reorganized our garage and now we can actually park both of our cars in the space. She helped us put together earthquake kits for our home and car. She is such a valuable resource I cannot recommend her highly enough. I'm independent and self-sufficient and this was the first time I enliste someone's help on matters like this. She made it easy for me. When I contacted her, she was quick to respond and very professional. When I spoke with her on the phone, it seemed that she knew what she was doing and had solid experience. She came across as professional and friendly, competent, clear, and ready to get down to business. I've worked in a few different industries in my adult life and have interviewed prospective employees. My intuition on these things has tended to be solid. Ashley fit the bill. She came across as professional and trustworthy. She described her process for handling sensitive information, which I appreciated. She was also very understanding about a recent death in the family that contributed to my overwhelm. We did all the work remotely. She got me up to speed on a shared password system, a project management system, and kept active lists of what we were each doing. This kept my head clear and me on task. She made things easy, and all the work was completed in time. I'm very grateful to Ashley. I highly recommend her to make your life and/or business much easier!

After six sessions he's not only transformed my space but my relationship to it: my home is no longer a source of stress and chaos, but a sanctuary where I can fully unwind. I can now maintain a baseline of organization with ease, without needing long weekend cleaning sessions. I know where everything is and don't need to waste time searching for my things. I never thought I could be this type of person. What's special about Keith is that he doesn't just organize, he teaches you the skills required for maintaining an organized home over the long term, tailored to you. He's trained with Marie Kondo and specializes in organizing for ADHD. He asks excellent questions in the decluttering process and has brilliant strategies for organization--I don't have ADHD but find that his methods work very well for my busy pace of life. I've developed a better understanding of why disorganization happens and how to address them and create systems as needed. All that to say, working with Keith is one of the best investments I've ever made. He's also a lovely person to spend an afternoon with, and always communicative, warm, and incredibly punctual. I'm so grateful to him and could not recommend his services more.

Chris Larose is really the face of Closet Factory and truly, the best person to have representing this brand. He came by and spent a couple of hours mapping out our closets, the right trimming and color. I felt like he was super thorough and answered all of our questions. Chris came and met us mid Feb; quoted installation for March 11, which we were fine with but asked to be put on a list if there's a chance to install quicker. We were completely wow'd when we got the call that they moved up our installation date to Monday Feb 23rd!! Quoted for 2.5 days but it really took 1.5 days to install 3-4 closets. Our installers were Hugo and Juan - they were super nice and accommodating, put down these mats in our place so to protect the floors. They brought in all the materials and got straight to work. So efficient and so nice, we really lucked out. At the end of installation, we noticed a mismatch on shelving length so Hugo waiting for the new shelves to arrive and installed before he left on day 2. Overall, the process was super easy, quick, and accommodating. One of the best perks is that the materials came from Costco, so having a Costco CC came in handy with the % of money back at the end of the year. Thank you Closet Factory!!
