We want to personally shout out DJ Leon Lee! Music is so important to us and he nailed all aspects of our wedding day music. Just meeting with him virtually beforehand, we knew we were in good hands because he was sure to emphasize details important to us and overall had such a great presence/aura. We've heard from so many different guests over the week that the music at our wedding was amazing - this is coming from a mix of Filipino/Cambodian/Vietnamese/Jewish cultures - he incorporated different songs for everyone alongside our favorite songs and it came out perfect, everyone joined the dance floor! We're so happy we went with VOX DJs and Leon. The best memories are made with good music, we are so lucky to have had such a great experience! read more

We were looking for a DJ when we happened to stumble upon Leon (DJ Leon de La $co) when we were guests for our friend's wedding in LA. We hired him a couple weeks after hearing him play for the first time and we couldn't have been happier with that choice! He is professional and really understood the mood we wanted to achieve. We met with him via video chat and my (now) husband and I felt comfortable giving him the freedom with choosing music on top of the ones we had consolidated. We really wanted a chill and relaxing ceremony/cocktail hour with love song covers and movie instrumentals but transition to upbeat tracks that mixed in EDM, K-Pop, and throwback bangers. We got multiple compliments throughout the night about the overall vibe and song selections. Everything turned out so great and we had so much fun. Leon even took a couple videos from his phone that he had sent over, which was a nice surprise! Overall, Leon did an amazing job with our wedding day and I highly recommend him for future events! read more

We're so happy to have found DJ Leon! Our wedding would have not been the same without him. He's amazing! My husband and I don't have the most thrilling taste in music, so deciding what to play during our wedding was the most daunting part of wedding planning. Luckily, we had DJ Leon to hold our hands through the process lol. He curated playlists based on what my husband and I liked but also ones that would be enjoyable to our guests. And it was perfect! We received many compliments throughout the night for our music choices. Our guests absolutely loved it and my husband and I did too! We got all the credit but really, the real hero was DJ Leon. He's an amazing DJ and an even cooler guy in general! He's the best and you will not regret booking him! read more

We booked DJ Leon Lee as our DJ/MC for our wedding last week and we were blown away! Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but from the first intro call all the way to the wedding, he was on top of everything and made the planning process so easy. Our biggest priority at our wedding was to make sure the vibes and music were on point and DJ Leon executed perfectly! Us and our guest never left the dance floor and we received multiple compliments about how great the music was! If we could do it again, DJ Leon would be our first call! 10/10 recommend! Vox DJs itself was also great to work with. They were very communicative, organized, and we loved their different options for packages and add-on! read more

This review is specifically for Leon Lee (DJ Leon de La $co). Wedding planning is already difficult as is, so my (now) husband and I had a difficult task to choosing the right DJ for our wedding. We went on the VOX DJs website and went through all of the DJs' pages in the SD area. We really liked DJ Leon's vibe and energy and decided to meet him via video chat. DJ Leon is professional, yet very chill, and really understood what we wanted. He provided excellent suggestions that we did not even think of. He is not only a fantastic DJ but really brought the energy as an MC! Our wedding was PERFECT and he was definitely one of the many reasons why. On the day of our wedding, he briefed our bridal party on what to do and ensured that there were no hiccups. He even took a few pictures and videos from his phone, and sent them to us. I am so grateful that he was a part of our magical day. BIG KUDOS TO DJ LEON! read more

DJ Leon Lee was absolutely AMAZING! We were very specific about the dj because we had a very diverse crowd at our half Indian half American wedding but DJ Leon Lee delivered perfectly. I was having so much fun on the dance floor that I literally did not leave once the reception started. Everyone was on the dance floor - aunt and uncles, college friends, cousins, parents - he was able to cater to the extremely diverse crowd and everyone was so impressed by him. Highly highly recommended dj Leon Lee! read more

TLDR; DJ Leon Lee is amazing!! We had a fantastic experience finding a DJ through Vox DJs. After submitting an inquiry, we received a neat price breakdown PDF which outlined the package pricing for their different tiers of DJ/MC services. After reviewing their DJ profiles, we knew we had to go with Leon Lee (aka DJ Leon de La $co) because his music taste and vibes were exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to have Leon be our DJ/MC for our wedding in San Diego. He brought the BEST energy and vibes to the party. Personally as I'm on the shyer/introverted side I was anxious about the dance floor leading up to the wedding but Leon's professionalism and experience really shined, because it was a massive success! Leon worked his magic and even some of our shyest friends were on the dance floor dancing and singing the night away. We loved that he was also familiar with k-pop and j-pop. In addition to the DJ side of Leon, I'd like to give a huge shout out to his MC skills because he seriously brought life to our grand entrance script, which would not have the same epic impact had it been MCed by anyone else that night. It made me realize who you choose to MC your event is so so important. His energy was contagious and he knew exactly how to hype the crowd up during key announcements throughout the night. Having the ability to hype up a crowd but also not sound forced or unnatural is seriously a talent/skill that's hard to master. Leon was also very flexible when we had last minute changes and ideas, but he was happy to jump right onto them. We got so many compliments from our guests about Leon -- everyone loved him. Also appreciated his fit for the night, very stylish and dapper. It showed that he put thought into presentation which we greatly admired. Big thanks to DJ Leon for being the best DJ that went beyond our expectations. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, don't bother looking elsewhere and just go with Leon lol! :) read more

We had Leon for our wedding DJ and he delivered everything and more on our wedding day! We had our initial meeting and went over the playlist in depth and he heard and took our must haves to heart and delivered that and even more! He mixed in all our different genres in the most perfect way and was extremely professional throughout the whole process! Can't recommend this business and Leon more!! Thanks for making our day epic! read more

We worked with DJ Leon Lee and he was AWESOME! He was so attentive throughout the entire process and really leaned into our song requests. Prior to the wedding, we had met with Leon and I really appreciated how thoughtful he was in ensuring we had all the right music selected. My (now) husband and I have a very WIDE palette of music tastes with no one pattern that we wanted to play throughout the ceremony, cocktail, reception and open dancing. Leon was able to fuse the varying genres together effortlessly, from hip/hop/soul/r&b, to neosoul, pop, rock, indie, jazz, classical, k-pop, chinese classics, Y2K, 90's throwbacks, movie soundtracks, the pokemon theme song........ etc. Honestly our playlist was so random and he made it work so well!! The entire event was engaging and our guests complemented at how fun and awesome the music was. Furthermore, Leon was incredibly helpful leading us in the right direction when we needed help in finding the right songs for all the events that took place during our jam-packed day, such as our traditional paebaek ceremony, bridal party entrance, etc. We were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding day while Leon smoothly handled the music and MC aspects of the event. He was so easy to work with and such a pleasure!!!! Again, I super appreciated his thorough and thoughtful work and cannot recommend him enough!! read more

We used Vox DJ's for our wedding and loved it. The entire process from start to finish was smooth and stress free! We first communicated with Romeo who explained the entire process and all the different packages to us and then helped us pick our DJ. We went with a bilingual DJ named Arturo (HIGHLY RECOMMEND.) Arturo was amazing, very responsive and very patient with our bridal party with their requests. All of our guests loved the music and him. Thank you Vox DJS and a big thank you to Arturo for helping make it a fun wedding! read more

We hired DJ Leon Lee (aka DJ Leon de La $co) for our wedding in the SD area and bottom line: he did a fantastic job. While planning the wedding, we'd read advice from a wedding planner to invest in the right DJ as a top priority, since music is a powerful yet often overlooked way to create the right atmosphere throughout the day. I'm really glad we took that advice! We chose Leon because he mentioned in his bio something along the lines of really enjoying mixing genres to create a fun and dynamic setlist. This really hit home for us since we love a bunch of different genres, from oldies to K-pop to Y2K throwbacks to Reggaeton & more. During the planning session, we knew we were in good hands because he picked up on our preferences quickly while being very collaborative, offering his expertise when called for. He also took the time to pronounce all our names correctly, which we really appreciated. The ceremony music brought on lots of tears & emotion, the music throughout dinner/cocktails made everyone feel upbeat and lively, and it all flowed seamlessly without any hiccups. Apparently there was one little electrical mishap from the venue (not Vox's fault) but Leon ran over to resolve it quickly to keep the party going. I didn't even notice at all until a few people mentioned it after. He was a great MC and did an awesome job keeping the crowd organized through different parts of the event. The dancing was EPIC. During and after the event, I had a ton of people come up to me to praise his DJing and ask us who he was / where we found him. We gave him a direction for songs and genres, but gave him a lot of wiggle room on songs/flow/timing, telling him to use his discretion to switch it up if the party seemed like it was slowing down. He absolutely killed it - the party never slowed down! I somehow ended up with a mic toward the end of the night and shouted "give it up for DJ Leon!!" to which everyone in the venue started screaming and cheering. My friends warmed up to him so much that a few of them even dragged him onto the dance floor to join us for a song or two (sorry Leon, they're too much sometimes lol). In all, I think we all danced for ~3 hours, and there was never a moment when the dance floor was empty (exactly what I was hoping for). While there is so much that goes into creating a fun and joyous atmosphere for your wedding (the open bar certainly also helped), having a professional DJ who can expertly set the tone is a core tool to really elevate the moments throughout your day. DJ Leon delivered 100/10 on this for us, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to go with him! read more

We chose VOX DJs for our wedding, and we are so grateful we did - Leon is the BEST!!! He brought such incredible energy to our wedding and selected great music that really kept the dance floor going! He also even made sure to play a specific song for me right before the ceremony started, which was hard to do because, as the bride, I most likely wouldn't have been able to hear it as I was preparing to walk down the aisle, but he played it at just the right moment, so I heard it!!!! He is so thoughtful, flexible, patient, genuine, and, most of all, fun!!! He really cares about the bride and groom and their family and friends. We highly recommend Vox DJs and Leon!!! read more

My Wedding was hosted by DJ Brent Murphy and he absolutely killed it. He was so supportive of our vision and vibe.He understood our music taste and delivered a unforgettable experience. My partner and I wanted to share a performance with our guests. So we sang a duet, while I played my guitar. He made it sound perfect! The whole night, ceremony and reception, was magical. I am grateful for him! I think we may even become good friends. If you are looking for someone who is an expert and you want to create a moment everyone will remember, book Brent Murphy for your next event! read more

This review is specifically for Leon Lee, who was our wedding DJ. We looked around at a bunch of different DJs but Leon wayyyy overdelivered and went above and beyond to make our night incredible. Planning: Leon was exceptional throughout the planning process, when we met with him everything went seamlessly and was honestly one of the most frictionless portions of our wedding planning. The rundown he gave us of every single portion he'd be covering, what all our options were, and his opinions on what would go best were perfect. When we wanted to change something, we would update him and he'd respond immediately. Ceremony/MC: During our ceremony and reception, Leon hit every queue and timing perfectly. He was wonderful and polite with all of our guests, really professional. When we last minute had to delay our first dance, he took that in stride and adjusted perfectly. Music: We had a pretty complicated plan for our dance portion, transitioning through 4 different playlist themes, going from family friendly classics all the way to hip hop and hard EDM, and Leon absolutely killed it. We had tons of friends commenting on how much fun the set was, and the way Leon mixed it together was way beyond my expectations. He took each theme and ran with it. TL;DR - No chance you'll regret booking Leon Lee, nailed everything read more

We had the pleasure of having DJ Leon Lee MC/DJ our wedding on 11/18/23. DJ Leon exceeded our expectations. He was so fun to plan with and had everyone on the dance floor from start to finish! He was very easy to communicate with and took away the stress for the music/MC part of the wedding. I highly recommend VOX DJs and especially DJ Leon Lee! read more

We got married on 10/14/23 in San Clemente and had the pleasure of having Leon Lee as our MC/DJ and he was absolutely amazing. Cannot say enough good things about VOX DJs and Leon Lee! read more

Wow, we cannot say enough great things about our Wedding DJ Leon de La $co!! He did such an incredible job and was so easy to work with. He kept the party going all night - the dance floor was packed! We gave him some key songs we wanted to hear and he totally understood our vibe and what we wanted for our day. Would 100% recommend Leon if you are looking for a DJ! read more

Leon was the perfect DJ/MC for our wedding!!! He stepped right in last minute due to unexpected circumstances and it was honestly a blessing in disguise. So many of our guests said he was the best wedding DJ they've ever heard. He really listened to us during our prep meeting and I felt understood what we wanted. We have so many fun memories with our friends and family on the dance floor because of all the music he was playing. We were all singing to each song by the end of the night! read more

Jack Matthess was our DJ on July 15th, 2023 in Laguna Niguel and he did an amazing job! All of our guests made comments about how good the music was and everything went so smoothly. Leading up to our wedding, Jack responded so quickly to emails and texts and had all our details down. We are so thankful to him for making the day so special. I would highly recommend him to DJ your event! read more

I had an amazing experience with VOX DJs for my wedding! They had a ton of different packages to choose from for budgets of all sizes. Eric was extremely helpful through the entire process and their entire staff was very responsive. You can also order lighting and photo booths which makes VOX super convenient to work with. I had some last minute lighting changes that they were extremely accommodating! We had the pleasure of working with Romeo for our wedding! He was an awesome MC and did a great job watching the crowd and playing exactly what everyone wanted to hear. Literally everyone was on their feet the whole wedding and we all had a blast. VOX guides you through putting together all the music you'd like for your wedding and has Spotify playlists to help you which was a serious life saver. Overall, we would DEFINITELY recommend VOX DJs! And make sure you work with Romeo too :) read more

Our DJ, Ruby Rosa, had great energy and was very organized, which we appreciated! She listened to and understood the kind of music we were hoping to have played, and did a great job playing the right kind of songs at the right times while also avoiding the sort of music we didn't want played. The price was right and it was great to be able to decide between DJs based on experience. We also really appreciated meeting with her beforehand - she was able to remind us of some items we would have totally forgotten (like playing ceremony music, having a mic for the officiant, etc.) and work directly with our coordinator as well as a personal friend of ours who played our processional and recessional music, which helped to make things really special for us. Thanks a ton, Ruby! read more

We hired DJ Leon for our wedding and he was amazing. My fiance and I were very particular about our DJ selection because we wanted to set the tone for the party. DJ Leon was extremely professional, kind, genuinely cared for our wedding day, and was a pleasure to work with. If a song didn't hit right away, he'd change it. He was great at hyping us up and making announcements as well! We gave him a list of songs to work from and the vibe and he ran with it to create the best playlist we could've asked for! All and all perfect experience!! The only thing I'd say is Vox DJs itself tries to upsell like crazy. But having DJ Leon as our DJ and working with him mostly totally is worth it - we never got that vibe from him and he was all good vibes! read more

Our venue had a limited selection of DJ companies to choose from, and I'm so HAPPY we went with Vox DJ's! We chose to work with Christian Manzo for our venue. He was so easy to work with, he worked well with my wedding coordinator to meet the wedding timeline, and he played all the songs my guests and I requested. I was even surprised how on point he played the music because we had songs played on specific times .I didn't hear any complaints from our guests, which means Christian did an awesome job! I was also impressed with the company's level of professionalism! The operations manager Ricky Hayes and the event specialist Rigel Garman helped with the booking and planning process and were always easy to get in contact with. read more

Caleb was our wedding DJ and he did an absolutely amazing job. Not only did he take the time to get to know us before our wedding, but we were provided with forms and suggestions that made the entire DJ experience so seamless and easy. We even put Caleb on the spot asking him to do a "game" for us at the wedding which he had mentioned was his first time doing anything like that but it could not have been more well executed. Overall Caleb was everything and more than we could have asked for on our special day and with Caleb and Vox DJ's we got so much more. Could not have more positive things to say about our experience and how easy everything was. Caleb communicated very clearly with us over texting, Skype calls and when he arrived got everything setup early and my wife and I literally had nothing to worry about. Truly an amazing and seamless experience. If you have any doubts, don't and ask for Caleb! read more

We had the pleasure of having Christian Manzo be the DJ at our wedding. We gave him the music that we'd like played for each section of our wedding and he was very gracious about it. We gave him some free reigns on the dance music. We also gave some last minute songs to play and it was no problem at all (although I really don't recommend doing that)! He was very nice and prompt and responds to our questions fairly quickly. Thank you, Christian, Robert and Rigel! read more

I got married this past summer and, while I let my wife do most of the planning, I was adamant that I CHOOSE the DJ. I am extremely picky about music and even pickier about DJ's. An MC/DJ can really make or break your wedding reception. It's the difference between a total rager that no one will ever forget and a blah blah cookie cutter playlist that everyone always hears and no one dances to. To me, you really need a DJ who can play to the room. Someone who has a good sense of who is at the party and what will get them moving and enjoying themselves. Too many times I've seen DJ's playing to the youngest (with raunchy rap or EDM) or oldest people in the room with tired, cliche wedding anthems to the total neglect of everyone else. Rare is someone who *gets* how to play to everyones tastes at just the right moments. Well, I can proudly and enthusiastically say I knew EXACTLY who I'd be hiring for the job. I met one of the DJ's at my cousin's wedding and he freaking ROCKED the house. Not only with music but with awesome MC'ing. I knew immediately (even though I wasn't engaged yet) that this is who I'd be having at my wedding. Fast forward 3 years, I called Vox, secured their british DJ rob. And just like I'd hoped, he absolutely killed it. He was totally on top of every detail, coordinated with the band, made it so easy and stress-free for me. And not going to lie, all the compliments I got for having such an awesome dance floor didn't hurt. I cannot recommend VOX enough. If you're looking to dance, look no further. read more

Vox DJs made everything simple from start to finish with our wedding Dj selection. My new husband was very critical in selecting a DJ, and interviewed over 30 different DJs from different companies before picking Dj Deeran. Deeran was easy to talk to, and very easy going. He made sure we danced the night away and did an excellent job of playing a good mix of music to keep the dance floor jumping all night. We couldn't be more happy with our decision, and will gladly recommend anyone we know who needs a Dj for an event to hire Deeran if he's available. - Virginia & Antron read more

Working with DJ Ruby Rosas was very easy. I was running behind and was not fully prepared for our zoom meeting. She made it easy to choose the music sections of the ceremony by having options available. My husband and I appreciate her help so much!! :) read more

I was recommended VOX through a bridal Facebook group and honestly, I went with them because they were the least expensive and seemed legit. But man, was I blown out of the water! DJ Nicolette was insanely great with us! During our Zoom meeting she understood our vibe and got to know us (even though my schedule made us rush a little) and on the day of our wedding Nicolette was incredible! She was professional, fun, and really made the party reflect me and my now-husband. (My day-of coordinator raved about her as well.). I cannot recommend VOX and DJ Nicolette enough! read more

Vox was a great company to work with. Christian, our DJ, gave us exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. He was also really intuitive/experienced so he could help guide us through any unknown parts. My guests had a great time dancing at the reception and he made sure we stuck to our timeline. Would recommend for the value and professionalism. read more

The entire process for booking and working with VOX DJs was extremely easy and straight forward. My venue required that I booked a DJ from their preferred list and VOX DJs was on the list - upon perusing their site I noticed that they had a roster of DJs serving various so cal locations. I received a response fairly soon after putting in an inquiry and had requested a bilingual (English/Vietnamese DJ MC) for my wedding. The response I received was that there were only 4 DJ MCs that were actually approved by my venue to play/perform there - so I reached out to my venue to see if they'd make an exception. The venue agreed to the exception - unfortunately a few months before the wedding date, the DJ MC was no longer available - but VOX DJs was able to quickly help me find a solution and booked a separate bilingual MC Khanh and approved venue DJ Christian Manzo. Both were amazing to work with and very communicative. They made sure that mine and Scott's requests or preferences were fulfilled. We did one in person meeting with Khanh and follow up emails to ensure our timelines/any announcements, etc that she needed to make were correct and in order. We completed a preference sheet with music selections, etc and sent to Christian, then did a facetime meeting with him reviewing our selections and any other preferences. Khanh made sure to communicate with Christian so they would be on the same page - the wedding day was fantastic, and everyone raved about Khanh and Christian. Khanh perfectly announced the wedding party, family members and any activities that we were doing in Vietnamese and English with seamless transitions (my family members couldn't stop raving about her). Christian had the best music selection and had everyone dancing throughout the evening. We are so grateful for them both - their expertise, professionalism but also own personalities. I would book them again if I got the chance. read more

On 6/1/19 my wife and I hired DJ Obi Whan to DJ our wedding. Prior to the wedding we met with Kevin and went over song selection, important people and the itinerary for the day. On the day of our wedding Kevin was on time, went over last minute details with our day of coordinator as well as checked in with both me and my wife as the day progressed. Once the reception was going and the dancing started he kept the party going, he got everyone out on the dance floor, hit all our favorite songs, at one point I even saw him out dancing with everyone. I highly recommend DJ Obi Whan for any type of party you might throw. 10/10 i would hire him again. read more

One of our best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring DJ Ryan Moreno from Vox DJ's!! He really took the time to get to know us as a couple and I really appreciated that. He completely respected the music we wanted and didn't want played which was important to me. I feel like the music at a wedding reception can "make it or break it", and Ryan was absolutely one of the reasons our wedding was as fun as it was.
