Vinny's response was quick after I messaged him with my address , flooring type , square footage . He came , quickly measured, gave an approx cost ,said he would write up an estimate and never heard from him again I texted and called without any response. It was a valid and appropriate job . I contacted Vinny due to a leak in an upstairs bathroom shower pan, of my rental property.. He responded immediately, met with me at the property and sent me a bid later that day. His crew started demo of the tile shower within a day or two. They were very conscientious of keeping the home as clean as possible during the process. They not only covered all the carpet and tile from the front door, up the stairs and into the master bath, they also hung floor to ceiling plastic in the master bedroom to prevent the dust from creating a mess. This was very much appreciated. They did a beautiful job and got it done a week early , despite having to work around the schedule of a diffcult renter. Excellent results on my tile project. I decided to change the flooring in my entire downstairs 1300 sq ft. I needed the project to be done quickly due to other construction going on at the same time. Vinny arrived the next day and gave me an emailed quote the same night. Demo started the next week, which was mostly due to me having to move all of my furniture out. The demo crew was great! Jerry and Chase broke down all the old tile and wood and cleaned everything as they worked. Once the install started Bernardo was amazing. My floor tile looks amazing and none of the pieces or grout lines are crooked. Pedro helped as well and they finished all of it in a week! Rigo completed my fireplace in two days. Vinny and his firm have done multiple flooring jobs for me over the years and recently completed a custom home for us. Vinny Pizzo is really a great businessman with integrity! Vinny and his team did a beautiful job tearing our my old ceramic tile and carpeting and installing 18 inch Porcelain tiles throughout my first floor almost 2 years ago. We love the look and have received many compliments on it. Recently we noticed a wobble on our toilet that had been removed and replaced during the installation. When my husband went to tighten it, he saw that the bolts were free floating and asked me to give Vinny a call. Vinny was great, he was concerned and had his plumber come check it out immediately. It turned out we have a part rusted out that needs to be replaced. Not a problem caused by anything but normal wear and tear. Vinny stands by his work and his team and truly cares. Vinny refused to come to do our laminate job (stating that it was too small) FIVE WEEKS AFTER he came and measured. By then, we ordered the materials and they arrived. Now, we are stuck with the materials with no one working. At first, when we called, Vinny said he was on vacation. Then, there were excuses, excuses, and excuses... Wouldn't it be a professional courtesy to tell us earlier? 1. Vinny could have told us when he came to do the measurement. 2. Vinny changed his mind. Could he have proactively let us know sooner? Unfortunately, we did not find out until we called him several times (because he did not seem to return phone calls if he did not see value in answering them). I still think that Vinny could provide good workmanship and service for a small job. He seems to be a fine person. After all, he may have forgotten that we all started out small at some point before. read more

I used Vinny for my first shower redo, contacted him one year later for the second bathroom but he never returned my call. Then the following year with his 2018 price increase he refused to honor the 2017 price regardless of him not coming. He was quick to tell me he had a head injury that year but still wouldn't lower his price. Then the day he was to start my job he called with truck issues. From his start date of 7.14.2918 it took a month of him coming back to correct issues. Finally I suggested a reduction of $50 to pay my handyman for part of his undone work. Finding more issues of broken glass tile inserts he came a day before I said I would be home to work on these. He was yelling at me on the phone saying "My guys are not going to steal from you" of which I had not thought of. I left for work only to come home and find that there were still broken glass tiles that were not replaced. I then wrote a very polite email to him asking for his return. One week later, after filing with the BBB, I got a phone message saying it had been his mothers birthday and when could he come back. Also that he had a picture of the tile from Home Depot showing me it was to look as he left it. No, my tile was not to be broken but very smooth and now I am sorry to say I have seen nothing but unprofessional work. Work not done right, poor clean up, and a complete lack of professional consideration. All noted by the others that have now come to do the other two jobs I had wanted him to do. Both now at far better prices as well, no to mention others come on time, and return calls in a polite manner. read more

Initially I intended to replace the tub in my bathroom a prefabricated sectional shower. In fact, I had spoken with a couple contractors before I looked up Vinny on yelp and called him on an impulse. He was very prompt in showing up for the estimation appointment which made my impression of him go up a notch. He told me he didn't do sectional but gave me such a convincing explanation of why I should tile my shower that I opted to go for the tiling although I would be spending more that I would have for the sectional shower. Once we had settled on getting the job done, Vinny was very prompt in getting the job started on the day agreed upon. The tiles were to be provided by Vinny and I had absolutely no problem in the selection. He personally accompanied us to the showroom and gave us ample time for selection. We agreed on the choice of floor and wall tiles as well as the tiles for the shower base and a border for the wainscot. His people (and quite a few of them were involved) were very considerate and thoughtful as well. I never had to supervise the work that was being done. Every step of the job was done systematically without a day being lost though each job was done by a different person. In the end the job was done to my utmost satisfaction. However the most important thing-- this whole job was completed without signing any contract whatsoever other than that single paper of estimate. He completed the job in a timely manner as it was agreed upon and he received payments from me as mutually agreed. In fact, for my next project of redoing my master bathroom I will not even think for a second before giving Vinny a call. I called Vinny and he was able to come down to South Orange County the same day for an estimate. We were very short on time for our install and he was able to fit us in right away. Vinny's pricing was very fair and he recommended an inexpensive tile store to buy our product (MSI in Orange, ask for Heraldo). We went with travertine throughout all 4 showers, we used different sizes and different designs with each shower and Vinny's crew had no problem following our designs.
