I logged in over 300 hours at regular Physical Therapy practices with minimal results, I was frustrated and depressed. Yet, I was determined to get help. Finding Dr.Sindo was as lucky as anyone can get. His manual therapy practice is all about 'hands on approach', unlike all other physical therapy practices I frequented. After only 6 sessions with Dr. Sindo my range of motion was back to 95% and I regained most of my strength back. Now, as I am writing this review post treatment, I can happily report I am back to enjoying all the things I love to do, I am even back to teaching Yoga(which is very demanding physically, especially on my shoulders), something I never though possible when my shoulder was out of commission. Now, I recommend and send my friends and family to Dr.Sindo, as I believe only his approach and manual therapy techniques are good enough. Too many physical therapy practices are out for the money, and are assembly line operations, get you 'in-and-out' as fast as possible. I've had acupuncture done many times before and my experienced acupuncturist would carefully apply multiple needles after discussing the areas that's bothersome and attach electrodes for electric therapy. Dr. Lee's technique was haphazard and provided no relief. Furthermore, he tried to relieve my pain by having me stretch against his resistance, all of which was very fast and rushed. Didn't provide any patient education on exercises to do at home until I asked. The whole visit was probably less than 15 minutes and it felt extremely rushed, impersonal and unfocused. Here's the major warning- he's actually very money hungry, which is why he treats patients like they are on a conveyor belt. When I saw the bill for my less than 15 minutes visit, my jaw dropped. It was close to $450! I believe he does the very bare minimum, so he can input the necessary codes to bill your insurance. Very sketchy, not a trustworthy doctor. Did not help relieve my pain, rushed through the visits, and manipulating the system to squeeze every penny from his patients. Distant, fast and did not seem to care about your ailments.
