Amazing experience and service! Manny was the barber chosen for my 18month old son and he was excellent. It took some creativity to get my son to calm down and once he did we were off and running. Manny was so gentle and calm and kept safety and comfort at the forefront of the experience. He made sure my son was lined up and even styled it for him. She was on time, very professional, and clearly aims to please, making sure that the customer is happy with his haircut before releasing him from the chair. My latest cut combined the use of clippers, scissors, and straight razor to yield a clean, well-groomed look that should last for at least six weeks. A shampoo and shoulder massage by a hand-held device provided an enjoyable end to the experience. This place does have the look and feel of an old-fashioned barbershop--barber pole and all. I really wanted to like this spot because the reviews were great! They had me up until the day of service. I called ahead to make an appointment for my boyfriend to get him a little pampering for his birthday; it was a surprise! I made the appointment originally for a haircut and deluxe beard trim and then the next day called back and added the facial and face massage. Both times with different people they were extremely friendly and so nice about this! I even asked if I could come in and show the barber a couple pictures for the haircut. The appointment was for 1130, he finally got in the chair around 1145am while we waited for the person ahead of him to get finished. Sam was super receptive to me showing him some pictures after I told him that the whole thing was a surprise... at that point i handed him a cash tip and told my guy to have fun and walked out. When my boyfriend was finished I asked him how it was and he said he enjoyed it, but I noticed his beard wasn't cleaned up - so I asked him if they did anything else and he said no. I immediately called because i had also already paid for the entire package before leaving... when i told the girl on the phone she was super apologetic and refunded $60 of the $90 spent. While I appreciated that immediate response, I was super bummed that he didn't get the full experience I had intended for him. read more

I've been getting my haircut at V's for the past 10 years. I started in Chandler/Phoenix then was pleased to that V's was also in Las Vegas.

Had a great experience at V's from the start! I came in, was called over to check in, and my barber walked right in at the same time. Sat down, showed a picture of somewhat what I wanted and she started. I had a lot of hair since my last cut in December so there was a lot to come off. I just got a high fade with some length on top to style. Happy how it turned out and Alyssa was very nice. Great conversation to pass the time and at the end she took the straight razor and gave a shoulder massage with the hand machine thingy. Price for mens cut is now 40 dollars. that's crazy, don't care if you use a hot towel or not. For basic trim this is way out there... n then tip on top. He's skilled at all types of hair--male & female, long or short, ANY texture--RAUL has the talent & experience across the board to create personal magic for you. (BTW, he's also styled the heads of known music artists who've dropped into Vegas for performances. Word-of-mouth gets it done.) RAUL has been cutting my hair now for five years. He's one of only four people in my life to always get my hair--short since the 70s--exactly right. I don't know if it's my cowlick or my pointy little head (:-) but outside of The Four, the rest of them have always got something wrong; within 7-10 days those cuts looked abysmal. A great cut not only grows out (within reason) gracefully, a great cut boosts our self esteem and makes us feel we can take on the world. It makes a difference in our life. RAUL has that gift. V's itself is exquisite and welcoming, top-notch clean, with a boutique feel (ladies!). The other customers there while I was, all men, looked very happy with their cuts. When a customer preens to the mirror, then walks out still smiling large, you know they LOVE the work that was done! Def check out this shop. Figured I'd give this place a shot. Had an appointment for 12pm. I showed up at 11:55. When I drove up I saw the barber sitting outside. Guy at the front desk told me to wait. The barber sitting outside came in and asked his coworkers if they wanted any McDonald's and left. He came back 20 minutes later around 12:20 and said have a seat in the chair while I get ready. I called him out for going to get food while I waited and this fool looked like he thought it was funny. Then they asked if I wanted to reschedule as I walked out the door. UPDATE- The very same day of my son's last haircut, Gabe, the shop owner reached out to me to apologize and remedy the situation. He scheduled us an appt two weeks from the original appt to give my son's hair time to grow a bit. I was immediately impressed with that level of customer service. We just left that appt and WOW, this haircut is perfect! Brandy fixed my sons haircut and she was a pleasure. We will be scheduling with her for his haircuts going forward. Changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. There's something to be said when a business owner really cares about the reputation of their business and providing a great customer experience. Original- My son has been looking forward to getting his hair cut again after the COVID lockdown, couldn't get through at his other barbershop so I made an appt here based on good reviews. The shop is very nice inside, and everyone was nice, the whole environment is great. My son'a hair cut however......Not so much. It's not blended AT ALL, it looks amateur at best. I kept just waiting and watching, hoping that the barber would fix it before the end of the cut. 45 min, and a hot lather and towel service (on a 10 year old) later, it looks like someone put a bowl on his head and cut around it. The worst part? It's beyond repair and will just have to grow out. Won't be back. read more

My husband has gotten his haircut done here a few times and it has been great. Today the gentleman that cut his hair massacred his hair, it looks like it is a 5 dollar prison cut. The cut itself in the back is  uneven which is almost impossible since it was almost all shaved off. My husband has fantastic thick hair and this is the worst cut I have ever seen on him.
