Let me begin by stating that the "doctor" here is not a doctor but a physicians assistant and that…read moreis the only person you will ever see at this office for medical care. They call him Dr. Vitale but he is not a doctor. Every single time I come (which I try only if I absolutely have to) there's a long wait. If I need medical papers or any kind of documentation from them they take FOREVER. I did blood work Saturday morning, yesterday someone from their office said they'd have my paperwork ready by the evening, it is now the evening of the following day and they are now telling me they don't even have the blood work. It is absolutely impossible to do things on a timeline with this office. I've also been prescribed medication I don't even need nor asked for (only finding this out after it's been called into my pharmacy already)....another way to get my money though that's for sure. This place is not professional at all. I don't recommend them unless you wanna sit for over an hour for your appointment or never get your medical documents taken care. When calling to speak to the office manager about my blood work she rudely yelled at me over the phone and told me that I was going to listen to her "one time and one time only." You DO NOT treat people like this at all. I will never be going there ever again. Her name is Millie! She is absolutely disrespectful and shows no compassion for the patients there. UPDATED: I went through with letting the Medical Board of NY know that they violated my rights and the PA, Mr. Vitale is now calling my parents home and causing stress within my family.

It is now 5pm and I am still waiting to see the doctor only to discuss results... Then the front desk looks at ME weirdly and tells me it's first come first serve. If that's the case what's the point of securing appointments. Obviously the system is flawed here. I will most likely be looking elsewhere if I ever need to see the cardiologist again (which I hope is never).

My physician is Dr Sanjeev Palta. I would definitely recommend him, as he and his staff do a very thorough job. He also takes the time to explain things to his patients, and has a friendly manner, unlike some other doctors I've seen in the past. It is never pleasant going to the doctor under any circumstances, but Dr Palta and his staff certainly do their best to make it as painless an experience as possible.

Second visit: two and a half hours waiting. I only stayed for blood work results. I specifically requested (multiple times) an estradiol test and gave them a list. They skipped it, claiming it's "only for women." That's completely false -- I've had this test done for years without issue. They're incompetent, force unnecessary doctor visits even when they mess up basic orders, and waste everyone's time. Do not trust these people with your health. Save your time and money -- go anywhere else.

I told the teenagers at the front desk that this was an excessive waiting time and I left. I had called, emailed a number of times wanting a copy of my medical file and no one ever responded. It wasn't until I got my health insurance involved to mediate the pick up of my record that I finally got it. I will be filing a complaint with OPMC (Office Professional Medical Conduct).
