Finding a health center that doesn't charge an obscene amount of money to be seen is always a struggle. It was the closest, same-day appointment center I found on Yelp. They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $10 copay. They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right there. Once I arrived, all I had to worry about was not coughing on the doctor! I got a prescription filled at the in-house pharmacy and was on my merry way about 30 minutes later. The pros were right up there with the cons, so this place is just somewhere in the middle for me. Ultimately, I was able to visit and leave with mostly what I wanted. I appreciate their clean, waiting area. There was plenty of reading material, some NY1 playing on the TV, and just enough people around not to feel crowded. That said, I was waiting for awhile -- just about 30-40 minutes during each of my visits. I have waited over an hour at other offices before, so this was mildly tolerable (but certainly not preferred). What I am not too fond of is the weak receptionist / admin area. On occasion my phone calls would go unanswered and sometimes during my visits I'd be standing around for a while before someone came out to tend to me. I am still puzzled as to why the front desk area goes unmanned as often as it does. I'd elaborate more on the doctor line up, but I haven't had the pleasure of seeing all of them.
