it's a mess here, always! I've never come to this branch when it didn't have a line wrapping to the door. They have 8 or more teller stations but don't staff more than 3 at a time. if you have to visit in person, bring a book. read more

I received a letter stating that they are dropping ATM cards and I would need to get a Debit card. I don't want a Debit Card. We went to VyStar to speak with someone and were treated nicely. The interior was comfortable with seats and television and blessedly quiet and we saw a well equipped area with surface pro computers set up for online banking. This is a Local credit union and has been very successful in the area. Branches are opening all around the bartram park area. read more

So I just came back to VyStar and I'm glad I did I left my card in the ATM machine and you don't know how crazy this can be until it happens to you so what happen was it I called them they answered really abruptly it wasn't like a 20 minute wait like with everything else like everything else you have to wait 20 minutes for the phone line to pick up. Of the three times I called them they answered within 30 seconds each time. They put a brief hold on my card the first time the second time I called was so they could contact the branch. The third time I called was after I left the branch to re-activate my card. Use to love this company. Since they changed apps this place is awful. The hold times are ridiculous and the new app does nothing what the old did. I cannot say enough good things about the VP, Chad Cassidy and associate Christiana Greenert! After two weeks of attempting to figure out my options by calling various departments at VyStar which lead to no real answers, I walked in to this branch hoping I might find someone who knew more than the average employee. Chad wasted no time in helping me figure out my options and explain things to me in a simple way which made it easy to understand. From there, Christiana worked her magic to complete the process. I was frustrated and in a time crunch, and frankly, being "one of THOSE" people who no one wants to volunteer to help. Especially at the end of a Monday. I was blown away by their efficiency, their kindness, and their patience with me as they did all the work on their end, to make my portion of the deal as simple as possible. I was pleasantly surprised when they stayed after closing to ensure my transaction was completed that day, soemthing I was not at all expecting. I've had some less than stellar experiences at this branch, which was my main reason for avoiding it for nearly 3 years. I've been banking with Vystar for over a decade. I have experienced a HUGE issue with Vystar as a whole and SPECIFICALLY with this location. I deposited a check from from a person whom I've been dealing with for over 12 months. Every month I get a check from her and deposit it and everything is just fine. This time there is a 2 week hold put on the check. 2 WEEKS! I cannot believe it. This check wasn't for a higher amount than usual. It was a different account or institution. Either way I assume there has been an error so I contact Vystar support. They say it has been "Flagged" by their system and they are unable to tell me why. Fine. Then they tell me they cannot remove the hold even though there is literally nothing different about this deposit than the previous 12. Unacceptable. I should not have to wait 2 weeks to have access to MY MONEY. "We never for get it's your money" -Vystar Yeah. Right. Finally after getting a Vystar rep on the phone in a 3 way call with a rep from the OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION WHO CAN VERIFY THE CHECK IS FINE the Vystar rep still tells me she will not do anything. She says once the money has been pulled from the other bank they can write a statement for me that I can submit to Vystar and they will release the hold on my money. Keep in mind, at this point the money has already been drawn from my associates account and most likely already been received by Vystar. I get the statement from the other bank 3 days ago. I contact Vystar support so that I can send them the statement from the other bank and release the hold on my money. They say the only option is to bring it in to a branch OR fax it to them. I said, "It's not the 80's I don't have a fax machine. Where can I e-mail it?" They don't have an email. Outstanding. So the next day I call my local branch so that i can simply get the email of one of their in store reps and email them that way. I called 4 times (Not this location mind you, I'll get to their errors in a moment) and every time I was unable to reach a person or even be put on hold. I was immediately sent to a message machine which promised they would return my call by the end of the business day. I left a message at about 9:45 AM. You can probably guess by now they never returned my call. That brings us to today and this specific branch in question. I swing by the branch on my way home from work. I go in and meet Joshua Noplis. Here is the silver lining. He is absolutely fantastic. Honestly tried to do his best to help me resolve this issue and he did everything in his power to assist me. He approached his manager multiple times even though she spoke down to him, cut him off, and treated him like trash in general. I want to publicly apologize to Joshua for making him endure her for the sake of helping me. He did not complain or show an ounce of unprofessionalism, I could just hear her berating him from the other side of the cashiers counter. The manager. I don't know her name. Older woman with dyed blonde hair who was on staff around 1645 on 2/7/18. She refused to remove the hold on my check even though I provided all the information I was told to provide. She had an attitude with Josh initially and then when he went back with the letter from the issuing bank saying to release the hold she refused to hear him or listen to a word he had to say. "NO! I'm not going to release it! No. No. No." I could hear from the cubicle. The check in question is for only $380. I'm not asking to release a risky hold on a check for 6 figures. We are talking about a small sum of money. A lot of money to me but next to nothing compared to the grand scheme of things. The manager of this location was the absolute final straw. I am withdrawing every penny from Vystar and opening an account with Digital Federal Credit Union, the bank who issued the check originally and has been very helpful doing everything they could for me. I am also going to make it my mission to drive as much business away from Vystar as possible. I want to be clear, I'm not making a threat or throwing a tantrum hoping that now I can get my way. I'm just informing everyone who reads this the actions I'm taking due to my disappointment in this scenario. I'm stating it publicly because I truly hope the manager at this branch is reprimanded or terminated for treating her members so terribly and so that the staff that works under her is free form her tyranny. I was there only a short time and I can tell her staff hates working under her and I can only hope they can escape her soon enough. Any higher up management reading this, Consider giving Joshua the position he deserves, the managers position. This branch will perform much better in the future. read more

Sorry for a second review Stephanie H, but I could not get my phone to allow me to reply. First time I called the number you gave I held for 5 hours to speak to an agent who told me she was sending statements that never came. 2 weeks later I held for 1 hour and 45 minutes to speak with a man who told me he was emailing statements. They also did not come. I assume besides screwing up one of the best web sites I have seen and putting out a mobile app that does nothing the IT company VyStar uses must have taken over your email serves and they don't work either. When I went inside the teller argued with me that I could download them online after I told her your website told me to call customer service. Why would I call them again. There is nothing that can be done about constant poor service since the switch. I was told that you are working to fix your web app first then you will work on the mobile app by the lady at entrance of bank who directed me where to go. Web site is extremely basic now and nothing like the quality VyStar. Since I have loans at VyStar I was told I have to leave $5.00 there to keep my account open, but I can move all my other money from all the different savings accounts somewhere else. Waiting on the phone for hours again will not entice me to stay with VyStar. Neither doe having only a very basic website and no working mobile app. read more

When I deposited my money in this credit Union, I was told it would be a more personal experience. This is anything but personal. You cannot call a branch and speak to a person or ask a question. You have to apply for a loan at the counter and they don't ask the questions necessary to give a complete application. So very disappointed in this Credit Union. Will be withdrawing my money and going elsewhere. read more

From the perspective of a small business owner this has been a horrible choice. They consistently refuse to accept at least one customer check every time I go for a deposit. Last time they claimed a "hard hit" on a check from One to One Financial and refused to accept. I had to go to one to one and get a cashiers check. One to One said there was more them enough funds in that account and never heard of a "hard hit". They solicited my business while I waited. This time my customer wrote my company name and on the same line began writing the amount and finished on the next line. Then clearly wrote the amount to be paid. However, because he wrote the check in the manner he did they refuse to accept it. These are only two examples of the horrible experience I am having with this bank. As a business owner I need a bank that makes doing business easier. So far they make my life more difficult. read more

This is definitely my favorite of all of the Vystar locations! Every time I have ever had an appointment or been helped as a walk in customer, their services have been great. One time I had an issue with a mobile check not going through and they got right on top of the issue and fixed it, making my life much easier. They are very quick to give you the assistance that you need! This location has a walk-up ATM and drive-up ATMs. It also has a machine to count your change and if you are a member you don't get any money taken away. Many other places take 7-10%. read more

Wish I could say that I am a member of this credit union, however after wasting my time sitting in their lobby to open an account with them, I surrendered to the fact that they are so busy that customer service means nothing to them!! There are apparently 3 people in the office that can open an account and all three were busy in excess of 20 minutes. The bank has a sheriff police officer sitting in the lobby, he never looked up from his phone. Very disappointed that my time was wasted ..... I work 6 days a week, 10 to 12 hour days, so VyStar my time is worth a lot and I do not appreciate not accomplishing my task and the wasted time!!! I'd give you zero stars if I could. Filled out their computer form, so I can could be helped .... can't wait for the flood of phone calls for services they want to provide!
