This location sucks. Why make an appointment ahead of time when you're still going to be waiting a minimum of 45 minutes no matter what? There has to be a better way to channel the influx of people waiting to be seen. Perhaps let's not schedule 18 customers for the 3 banking consultants behind a desk. EVERY SINGLE TIME we come here, it's like I'm waiting at the DMV! Today was the last straw, the drive through didn't even have the tube inside, you could see them looking in the trash can for it. Absurd! No communication, and they just shut off the line without telling us. One time I was inside, I waited so long, because, the workers take forever compared to any other VyStar I've ever been to & the women behind me, couldn't stand any longer. She actually had to get out of the line and sit down because she was standing so long she was in pain. (if you go to riverside it takes 2-4 min, here 30-60min) I cannot stress enough that this is the worst VyStar ever. read more

Don't ever deposit money in the ATM's I have been ripped off twice in the past year. They always say they are putting in a dispute, but nothing ever comes from it. They have no empathy in this branch at all. I am a 90% disabled veteran and I deposited the money I got selling my tools so I could make rent on time. I have no other way to make money because my heart is screwed up and I cannot work. They say it takes up to 45 days to get your money back. I had to use the last of the money I had to buy food instead. The first time this happened was last March and I never heard back from them! This bank steals from their customers and when you get upset, they just stare at you like you are an idiot. By the way, I have been a customer of Vystar for 30 years now, but not anymore! read more

If you have loans at VyStar you must leave $5.00 there to keep your membership open. You can pull out all money but $5.00 and move to a reputable credit union or bank. After a total of 6 hours and 45 minute holding on 2 occasions to get my statement printed they have lied to me twice and never emailed as they said they would.,I guess their email server is run by the same morons that ruined their web site, mobile app and customer service. read more

We have been very happy with Vystar in general. This was our bank until the one in Riverside opened (closer to home). But we do come back here on occasion when we are in the neighborhood. The workers here have always been friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the parking lot, which is poorly designed and frequented by seriously driving-impaired individuals. read more

As a whole, I give Vystar a full 5 stars. Love this Credit Union and I wouldn't bank with anyone else. Even when we lived in Orlando (and there's not a Vystar anywhere near there), we still kept our account with Vystar and used them the entire time. We were able to direct deposit and when I would occasionally get a check I needed to deposit, it was as simple as signing into my account online and scanning the check in via my printer/scanner. There were no Vystar ATMs, so to avoid ATM fees, I'd pop into a Publix, make a small purchase, and just get cash back. Anyway.... let's talk about this particular branch. The reason I give this particular branch 3 stars is not only because it's older and needs some serious updating, but also because it's kind of a pain to get in and out of. The parking is weird. The exits and entrances are weird. I'm not sure who designed the layout of the parking lot, etc., but they did a pretty poor job. Another reason is the tellers are all really nice and friendly, but the lines seem to move slower inside versus other branches. Also, the drive-thru lanes outside tend to move slower than other branches. So, I don't use this particular Vystar all to often. But again, if you need a bank... definitely consider Vystar. In my opinion, it just doesn't get any better! read more

I found it interesting about everyone's complaints about their parking layout but it is actually perfect from a business perspective. One way in and one way out helps to prevent robbery/crime by making it a more difficult target. In addition to this, when you enter, the bank always has an officer on duty. For these reasons, I appreciate this branch being available. Additionally, Vystar is a great banking option especially when compared to other competitors. The staff overall are friendly and helpful; the tellers are always pleasant. read more

I use Vystar CU for the ATM only. It works.

When you pull into this Vystar location, you instantly realize you are the mouse in the maze as you have parking on the left and right, but to get to the door you have to move up, to the left and left again, then right. I always end up parking near the door, so you have to be careful someone does not cut through the parking lot to snag a parking space at the front, then there are the pedestrians. This layout is a mess. I am sure the Vystar management wishes they could tear it down and start over with something more pleasing, but they are using an old branch of a former bank, and it works for their uses. When you enter the facility, you can tell it is old and dated, with the staff members at the front to great you and help you, if needed. Most of the interior is carpet, with tile at the teller windows. There are a few desks to help you write out your transaction slips and then the line of tellers. On a recent trip I noticed 5+ tellers, so they were there to help and that was on a Friday. I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes in line. These tellers are the best at Vystar, or maybe our area is spoiled. I know I have been to other locations on the southside/phillips and the wait can be like watching paint dry, not at this one, the Wabash location. Great service, wish the decor was a bit newer/nicer, but then again, I go there for the service. read more

Have been with them for a few years now. In the past year they have picked up on fraud on both my account and my husband's business accounts before we even noticed it. (Purchases in other states and other countries using our credit card numbers) They saved us $100s if not thousands of dollars. I am grateful someone else is looking out for our money. read more

This location is (I believe) an older office. It's serviceable, and once inside, quite spacious, but the parking lot is a little odd to negotiate, and with only one exit, depending on traffic and the whims of the signal a few dozen yards away, you can be stuck for a bit. read more

Despite current realtor comps, our own appraisal, and the fact that two years ago it appraised higher at closing. They really must think people are stupid. Credit 790-820 range. If you are looking for a professional credit union with high standards of service and customer care, do not choose Vystar. For well over twelve years we have been doing business with them, and it is one problem after another. The all time low was when we arrived in Europe with zero access to our money because they denied our attempts to withdraw money from our accounts. Prior to our trip we had notified them both in person and via a telephone conversation that we would be traveling out of country. It took us several phone calls, and a few hours to get the situation straightened out before we could even leave the airport. Most recently I have had several issues with them putting excessive holds on checks in what seems like an attempt to earn NSF fees of $32.00 each. In the latest episode they held my check for five days because it was deposited at an ATM. Makes no sense right? Do yourself a favor and stick with a national bank, not a credit union that really doesn't offer the customer service you would expect, especially to its military members. read more
