Candi and Shamus have consistently jumped through hoops for me to provide great product at pricing I could fit into my budget- or my client's budgets. Their installers are educated and follow the manufacturer guidelines for install - which is hugely important as to not void any warranty. This last project they helped me with required same day delivery and unload. 2 of their managers took the time to follow the delivery truck and unload my flooring! If you're looking for great products and service, I recommend Into The Woods. Shamus is also a GA Licensed Contractor so he is a wealth of information. I highly recommend and am grateful for their support.

If you value your time, money, home, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The work on our floors and dry wall required multiple return visits. After the second flooring visit, we told them the floor was still uneven and that the vinyl continued to pop up. On the third visit, a team member stepped on the area that was popping up and said, "There's nothing wrong!" After we insisted they open the floor, we discovered that cardboard packaging from the vinyl floor boards had been used underneath the floor to address the leveling issue... When we finally thought the flooring was finished, another problem surfaced. The trim at the top of our staircase that had been installed only about two weeks earlier came loose, and I fell down the stairs as a result. We then discovered that our replacement dry wall was visibly uneven and not flush with the existing wall. Even after their team came back to work on it, the transition was still not flush, if not worse! Regardless of whether subcontractors were involved, we hired Into The Woods to ensure the work was completed properly and ultimately hold them responsible. On top of having to repeatedly identify problems that should have been caught through proper supervision and quality control, the most frustrating part has been communicating with Into the Woods direct team members, especially their owner, Shamus. We constantly felt like our concerns were minimized and dismissed. Even if the work had been perfect, the interactions with the company throughout this entire process made us wish we never signed anything with them.

I don't like doing bad reviews but i had to inform others that this business is not professional at…read moreall. I was told that screws would be put in the subfloor to stop squeaks and that there would be leveling applied to level out the flooring. Well the floor still has squeaks and no underlayment was laid prior to installing the lvp flooring. Next is the horrific experience of the hardwood stair install. I went in and seen the flush return sticking about 1 inch away from the stringer and asked if that was supposed to be that way and Joel said yes. I told him I don't think that is the proper way to install the FLUSH return. He turned the blame on me and said that I was supposed to tell him (although I'm not the professional). When I told him I didn't like it his emotions set in and professionalism went out the window. He removed the flush return and proceeded to use the oscillating tool to cut the wood from the tread that was hanging past the stair by half an inch! The oscillating tool tore up the tread wood pretty badly and when he proceeded to glue the return piece there were gaps between the pieces. I then asked do you think it's best to use wood filler instead? Joel said No, thats how they do it. I'm not the smartest, but I'm sure liquid nails will look very different when sanding wood pieces that you are trying to make look seamless. Something just didn't feel right about the work and the supplies for each step ran about $60 and he had butchered 6 of them already. When I asked Joel is there any way he could show me the work he has done on stairs, so I can see how they had did others flush returns and staircases and feel more comfortable about the work he was doing. Joel got upset and said "you know what you can find someone else to the stairs." How UNPROFESSIONAL is that. He proceeded to gather his belongings and when my boyfriend came he tried to ask how can we fix the problem Joel said no you can find someone else. At that moment I didn't want anything else to do with the Zurdo company. I have video footage from my home camera of the entire interaction along with the improper work that was being done. If you are looking for a flooring company please do not consider Zurdo Flooring look elsewhere. Stairs are very expensive and then for a company to be so unprofessional in the quality of work and the way they handle business do not waste your money. I can't believe this is what I have to deal with and now I have to purchase more material that was completely damages and improperly installed.
