Dropped off several sport coats, which I thought a slight pricey at nearly $7 each but considering I came in after 5 PM on a Friday and they were available for pick up the next day by 2 PM, it didn't seem too bad. They also had a Yelp check-in coupon for 20% off so that came in handy. Initially I had my 3 year-old with me and both the woman who checked us out as well as the young male worker took the time to speak with him. He was very interested in going into the back and he was jokingly offered a job once he turned 16! Even with the few minutes of chit chat and setting up a new account, drop off was easy and surprisingly quick. Pick up was just as smooth. I liked that they helped me get the hangers up off the rod being that they were rather heavy. All of the jackets looked good as new and had a pleasant, fresh sent. I don't mind paying a little more knowing our clothes are going to be cleaned and pressed properly, not too mention the quick turn around and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Us Santa's are VERY particular where we get our suits dry cleaned. The cleaner has to be experienced in the cleaning and care of a premium velvet Santa suit. In past years another cleaner ruined one of my suits and turned the white faux fun a light shade of pink. You can see why us Santas are particular which dry cleaners we use. Ray's has never let me down. I fact several of my "real bearded" Santa buddies use Ray's as well. Today when I picked up my suits, they looked beautiful perfectly cleaned and ready to be stored. I can put them up knowing they were cleaned properly and will be ready when I need them. An extra bonus, Ray's staff is so helpful and personable. Even though I live on the east side of Ft. Worth, I may just have to start bringing my shirts to Ray's for laundering and starching. That you Rays for being an all-round superior business, one that can be counted on time and time again.

My bill reached $233 for dry cleaning, yet I have brought much more clothing elsewhere for less than half that amount. For instance, I paid $30 for three pairs of jeans and the cleaning and pressing did not match the price. I advised the young lady at the counter that there was one pair of jeans that needed to be creased and they were not creased. Additionally, several shirts came back visibly wrinkled, which undermines the point of professional care. More troubling, I suspect one blazer was harmed during their handling. I had worn it once, yet a "special attention" tag claimed the stain was present beforehand. That is incorrect. I recall the garment's condition at drop-off; I would not pay for cleaning or bring it in if it were already marked. At minimum, a phone call should have warned me before work began so I could decide. When clients pay premium rates, they should expect skilled work, careful treatment, and accountability when issues arise. Given this experience, I cannot recommend Ray's Custom Cleaners & Alterations. The prices are excessive for the quality I received, and I am very disappointed that my clothing did not return in the expected condition.

Luckily Upper West Cleaners was right up the road, and able to pick up/drop off from the hotel. Maria assisted me personally, and made sure that my laundry was washed with the requested detergent (sensitive skin abounds in our crew!) Our clothes came bag folded and sorted nicely in clear bags. The price was in line with other cleaners for fluff and fold services. Turnaround time was less than 24 hours! I will definitely use them again if I'm downtown and need my laundry mountain conquered.

I was robbed I started taking my husbands clothes over…read morethere. I have to say the service is good and one of the ladies there is really nice, sadly I don´t know her name. One day my husband told me he was missing a pair of cackie pants and two shirts he wears for work, that maybe I left them at the cleaners, I assure him I brought home everything they gave, he then says "maybe they stole them", I have to say i got angry at him telling him it´s not nice to think like that, that it´s absurd, they deal with clothes everyday. Two weeks later he notices two more shirts are missing so I tell him I´ll star taking notes of the clothes I take there and the clothes I pick up to show him I was right, that he must have left clothes in some of him work travels (I must mention that he´s obsessed with order and with taking care of his things so that´s remotely possible, but I´m obsessed with believing people are good until I´m shown different). So I count everything everytime I drop and pick up, weeks go by, I´m attended by the nice lady I mentioned at the beginning and everything is OK. Until one time that I´m attended by another lady who has never been lets say nice, but she hasn´t been specially rude either, I count my clother when dropping and when I pick them up "surprise" I´m missing another pair of pants and 2 more shirts, I tell her and politely ask to look if there are still some of my clothes hanging there. She get angy and in a rude manner she tells me there´s nothing back there, I´m still calm and tell her that everytime I drop clothes I count and write down and I´m missin 3 items, she raises her voice telling me she received my clothes days back and nothing is missing, that there was not any other clothes on the counter so there couldn´t be a mistake. Giving her the chance to correct her I tell her that actually the day I dropped my clothes there was another bunch of clothes on the counter and I separated them because they were to close and I wanted to prevent a mistake, asking her again to go back and check if someone had return something. She continues rasing her voice, telling me there´s nothing there and she didn´t do anything wrong. By now I´m sure my husband was right. I leave the place and when I get to my car I realize I just dropped clothes so I go back and take my clothes, by no she can tell I´m angy because of my face expression and she tells me "well if you want I can go check", she goes back doesn´t check, just stands up there and comes back and says "nothing". I have been told the manager is having some health issues (if so I hope he´s doing better) so no resolution. So three things are for sure. 1.- Someone there stole my clothes. 2.- They´ve lost me as a weekly client 3.- I´m writing this review, my advice count your clothes when you drop and when you pick up.

When I came in with an aged light blue suit coat, instead of taking my money, he gave me the option of taking it home and trying certain things myself before I paid to have them do, which as aged as the suit coat was, he wasn't sure it could be salvaged. I opted to pay and most of the old stains came out, but am just really appreciative of the honesty and transparency.
