This comes across very clearly in every decision and choice he makes to select materials, plants, products, etc. He also consulted me before every design decision was made, from the the height of the step leading to the backyard, to the exact color of the cement, to the exact placement of the plants before the digging took place. Another designer may have gone ahead and planted the plants per the architectural design, but Harley has this innate understanding that people change their minds when they see things actually laid out, or after they have time to think about the project as it it progressing. It is this insightful understanding about human nature, that greatly reduces stress during the project as you come to trust and appreciate these rare qualities that you don't find in most people. Well it's finished and I literally can't believe how it came out. It is over the top amazing. His vision came out into a stellar amazing park like setting. So many plants, trees, shrubs and flowers that the hummingbirds, birds, and bees are loving within the first few days. The pond is just spectacular!! His attention to detail is like none other. He came back at almost 10:00 at night just to check all the positioning of the lighting to make sure it was perfect. Who does that ?
