I've done business with just about every GM dealer in the area, with good and bad results... Let me tell you... WK is a standout. I recently took my 2014 SS Sedan in for some warranty work and I'd like to tell you a bit about the experience... First off... I worked with Peter in the service department for the Recall service my car needed, and the few other mechanical warranty concerns. He never batted an eye at my somewhat "perfectionist" requests. They stored my car inside at night as I requested, and made sure that I was 100% satisfied with how my baby was being treated. He even put me in a BRAND NEW (3 Miles!!) GMC Sierra Crew Cab 4 Wheel Drive as a loaner. Secondly... My car was left in the care of Justin at the body shop. Again... He kept me informed, and took excellent care of my baby the entire time it was there. The work performed was excellent quality, and again... They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my car. Finally... I had considered trading the car in after spending some time in their loaner truck... I worked with Daniel in sales. He was never pushy, worked an amazing deal, and always worked to make sure my questions or concerns were addressed. Even though we didn't end up closing a deal in the end... (I couldn't say goodbye to my car... That's the only reason!) I will absolutely be hitting Daniel up for any future purchases. You won't be disappointed with the entire WK family... They truly do go out of their way to make you feel like a part of their family. read more

The experience of car was just fine treated nice very courteous . The paperwork from the was a disaster. The of name for their company. And the title was signed off as another name. I waited three hours bureau in Kansas only to find out the paperwork was not correct. I called and they agreed to change the paperwork and get me what was necessary but not with a pleasant attitude. Be careful with this shop. Took my truck in to get a bad wheel bearing replaced, which was covered by my warranty (with $100 deductible). Since WK only turned in part of the bill to them I was stuck with the rest of the bill ($100 deductible and extra $300 WK said they wouldn't pay). Part of the charge, which wasn't explained to me before hand, was a $150 diagnostic charge for telling me the wheel bearing was bad when I told them that when I dropped it off. Let me see??? diagnostic - they shook the wheel and seen the bearing had play. I had to pay the extra bill that wasn't turned in to the warranty company (I called, they told me what was turned in, $700 of a $1000 bill that was given to me) to get my truck out of their lot. I've been doing mechanical work in both the military and civilian community for 50+ years, I know what I am doing. I will never be back again. That will teach me to go to my regular mechanic from now on. read more

I have a fog light out in my vehicle. I called to make an appointment to have it replaced ready to pay for it. my Husband tells me that we should have to pay for it because we just got the vehicle. I call back and tell them what my Husband said and all of a sudden it's " oh, that's right, yes bring it in and we'll fix it for no charge". I wait for the appointment day, I get there and Tom says, oh I tried to call you because we don't have your part in my manager went to go get it and isn't back yet. ( I live 30 mins away) not to mention that the salesman has called and texted me numerous times. I say fine I can hang around town for awhile in hopes that he'll come back while I'm still here. I call back an hour and a half later and NOPE, his "manager" is still not back...... I call today to see what's going on because I haven't heard from anyone and it's 10am. Tom says that they had to order a whole new part and that I just have to wait, he continually cuts me off and doesn't let me explain my frustration. I finally had to tell him, to let me finish. Long story short, I still have no part, a light out, a vehicle I can only drive during the day and they won't give me a loaner...... ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I purchased the vehicle three months ago. Travis was very friendly, but not very knowledgeable about the Volt. He did tell me that from the get go and given the uniqueness of the Volt, I understood. As a salesman he did a very good job going over payment options with me and arranging servicing and other things with me for the most part, minute a hiccup where he got busy for about a month. My problem does not lie with the sales portion of the purchase, but with the detail department and/or the service department. After purchasing the car we brought it in to have it detailed. When I got it back the car was covered in hard water spots and has stains on the roof of the interior, which while inconvenient, wasn't a big deal. What was a big deal however was the large ding they put in the front corner panel that chipped the paint off. I brought the car back to the dealership that following Monday and spoke with Travis about it who told me he would put it back in the shop to have that fixed, have some other light scratches buffed out and have the computer system on the car upgraded. I brought the car in the following Thursdays to drop it off for two days. I picked it up Friday evening after work and Travis informed me nothing had been done because the service shop was down a few people. While I wish someone would've told me so I didn't have to find a ride to and from work for two days, it wasn't a big deal and I understand things like that happen. We agreed on the next Thursday and Friday to drop it off again. I dropped it off the following Thursday and picked it up Friday. Unfortunately it was raining so I couldn't really tell if they'd gotten out any of the other scratches, but Travis did tell me they didn't get a chance to fix the ding nor work on the hood nor update the vehicle. At this point I was a little disappointed, but Travis told me he would be in touch. The next day my car was covered in wax spots and I decided to take a rag and go hand wash the car. As I was washing it I discovered that someone had apparently ran over a curb or something and scratches the rear driver rim very badly. I brought it back to the dealership, quite irritated and explained to Travis my frustration that every single time I bring the car to have something fixed, it comes back worse that when I dropped it off. He said there was no curb between the dealership and the body shop and didn't know what happened to the rim. I chalked it up as another loss and moved on. Again, he said he would be on touch. The next week I sent him a text message and replied that he had been busy but he would get an appointment made and we would get the ding fixed and car upgraded. About a month passed before I heard anything again and that wasn't until I called and spoke with the sales manager explaining my problems to him. The next day Travis called and said he made an appointment for my car for the following Monday. With the problems I've had, I decided to take an HD video walk-around of the car before taking it in. I dropped the car off and received a loaner car to use while the body shop had mine. Travis called me that Saturday morning to come pick the car up. I came in to pick it up and the ding had been fixed, quite nicely I might add. You can't even tell it was ever there. However, you can tell where the new inch and a half scratch is on the other side of the bumper.. but at this point I'll just chalk it up as a loss as well because I'm not sure I want to take the car back for any other body work. The following week I brought the car in for the software upgrade. I dropped it off on a Monday morning and picked it up Monday evening. At this point I'm simply waiting for my spare key which Travis has assured me has been ordered. Assuming you're still with me after reading that wall of text, all of that said, I love the car and the sales experience wasn't terrible. But everything after that has been pretty bad and for that reason, I most likely would not recommend WK. read more

I am absolutely pleased with the outcome of my detailing on my 2014 Chevy Sonic. It looks brand new! After a few bumps in the road during an oil change I called and spoke with Neill in the service dept. He was extremely helpful in correcting the mistake and along with Jessica went over and beyond to make sure my car was detailed and in perfect shape! I was provided a courtesy car during my wait and that was also very much appreciated. I greatly appreciate their help and the fact that they truly care. When I was transferring from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to Alabama, my Chevy pickup broke down on I-70. It was a Saturday morning and I thought it would mean spending the weekend in a hotel if I could find a shop to repair my truck. Fortunately, I was 15 miles from WK GM in Sedalia and was towed there. I flew in from out of town to buy a 2015 Corvette and they picked me up from the airport which was 90 minutes away. My car was ready and clean in the back and while I waited I was shown all of the features on the car by a true specialist and enthusiast. The finance manager got me a better deal than I could find on my own as well. I had about a 7 hr drive back home and they gave me a gift card to grab lunch with.
