I had to identify and correct these issues myself, and the firm conducted extra internal review without informing me. The errors I identified were either acknowledged in writing or revised in subsequent drafts. When I met with the owner on June 8 and presented detailed emails outlining these errors, he said he would look into it but never responded. My check was cashed on June 12 despite unresolved problems, and a certified letter I sent on June 15 requesting an amicable resolution was ignored. The final bill was double my deposit, with no communication that costs would increase. Although the firm advertises decades of experience and attention to detail, the work I received did not reflect those claims. Prior Yelp reviews show similar concerns, and I'm sharing my experience so others can make informed decisions

I submitted my taxes in September and had them done three weeks later in October. So I told my new wife they were awesome and saved me a lot of money and were even willing to have our back in the event of an audit. So we switched from her accountant to Mark. I felt like the man! Then came the embarrassing and emasculating events of last summer. We bought a house in April, so we filed for extension. We gave our tax info to Mark in May with the expectation that we would have them done in July. No problem, he said, We'll have them done in June! We didn't hear back from him after multiple phone calls and emails until late July. Finally we received our taxes back but and I'm hoping they are correct. Maybe something happened with their health or a family emergency but, they never told us. All we got was radio silence. Given the state of disarray at their office I was really concerned that they lost our taxes entirely. If something is going on with them I sincerely wish them the best, but don't risk people's financial lives if you can't be healthy enough to manage it. Huddleston CPAs made a grave error on my business taxes in 2022 (not providing or filing a…read morenecessary form) resulting in 5K in penalties that I was then responsible for to the IRS. While the individual employee responsible no longer works at the firm, Huddleston as a business refused to take ANY responsibility for their negligence. When I tried to request a fair settlement from Huddleston--such as receiving a partial refund for the amount I paid for their tax services given that they failed to fulfill their duties--they stopped responding to my messages. When you trust a business with something as important as your financials, you deserve better, and as a fellow small business owner, I am incredibly disappointed in Huddleston CPAs.

Automated message system and all the options went to a voicemail, but maybe they were all just away from their desks, so I left a message asking to be removed. I've called back a few other times, and it's always the automated system, and nobody is ever available to answer my call. Still flooded in unwanted junk mail. I looked this "company" up on yelp, and they have dozens of identical listings all across seattle with the same picture of the same creepy looking guy and a different address. There is no way that the same guy works at 20 different offices all across Seattle. This looks very clearly to be a scammer on yelp trying to get first on everybody's searches by listing his "address" right next to where you are. I *still* haven't been able to reach anybody from this company, but between their Yelp scam, their un-reachability by phone (unless they think they think they can get your money i assume), and their questionable and harassing marketing tactics, one would do best to STAY AWAY! Hopefully they learn to do business with integrity and honesty like many other companies do.

They charge based on each form instead of hours so pretty nice unless you have a ton of forms. Went back and forth for a while with providing information and sometimes it would take them some time to get back, but overall a great experience. They do a lot of double checking and even filed my extension for me since I was waiting on some other things. Everyone is courteous and really nice.
