Went to W5 today as had been recommended to visit their sport science exhibition
The kids had an absolute ball, the sports science part was free admission, with interactive football, basketball, golf, racing etc
Kids all got a turn at tacking an Ulster rugby player (interactive mind you!) and the hubby got to think he was the next Rory mcIlroy at golf
W5 itself has multiple floors of activities, experiments, discovery centres to keep everyone entertained for hours, it's well organised and you won't be disappointed
But...the reason for 4 stars is that although this exhibition is free, the cost to W5 remains quite high, and you can't see this free exhibition until you pay in...bummer
£31 admission for 2 adults and 3 kids, with the gift shop as soon as you walk in...we all know this ploy all too well in most places, no sooner had we entered we were subjected to multiple requests for toys from the pint sized dictators we call children
All in all it was a great day, little more expensive than we anticipated, but a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon read more
