Trains depart about every 8-10 minutes but I suggest using the transit map on the Iphone for times as it's pretty accurate.

To access the platform a few long & steep metal stairs are at either end but there is no access for the handicap plus it is a tough time for anyone that would like to bring a bicycle on board. The station is drab & grey. Everything here looks like an after thought. I understand that it is a flag stop but a little more thought could been put into this place to allow for access to all & give helpful information to effectively commute in & out. Right now as it sit this place could be covered with a pile of snow & no one would notice it missing.

Surface level, but the station does have decent cover from the elements. There are audible and visual announcements of the next train in both directions. There is a portable boarding lift for people who need assistance getting onto the higher platform trolley cars. As well, the station features a small building with a few kiosks for purchasing your Charlie Ticket or adding value to your Charlie Card. If you are boarding the train here, you will need to do so at the door closest to the train driver so that you can provide payment. Disembarking will require pressing the "stop request" button but it's a popular station so it likely will stop anyway. Woodland Station is between Riverside (outbound, the terminus for the D branch) and Waban (inbound). This is definitely a nice station and I am a fan.

This station is at surface level and is not handicapped accessible. They do have audible and visual announcements of the train in either direction and you can walk across the tracks easily to get to the other side. There is a heated booth where you can wait for the train or use the automated kiosks to add value to your Charlie Card or purchase a Charlie Ticket. In the morning rush 80% all of the seats will already be taken so if you get on here expect to stand. One annoying issue with this stop is how far apart the platforms for crossing are and they are perfectly spaced so when the Train pulls in, it parks right over it! So you have to walk across the uneven tracks and still at that point if you are going Inbound to Boston you will have to wait until the train stops to desperately run to the front entrance. I've had several situations where I see the train is approaching but I can't run to the front of the train fast enough to get on!

I did not spot a facility for purchasing a ticket, but you can use the MTicket app and buy it on your phone.

The rail here is single track, so they have two platforms at different ends of the station area. There is no kiosk for purchasing tickets but you can buy on board. Situated between South Street (outbound) and Chiswick Road (inbound) there is no shelter here, no automated ticket kiosk, no announcement of the next train and not even a sign to let you know that the T might stop here. All they have is a slightly wider painted asphalt patch between the tracks and the roadway. The "station" is near a number of apartment buildings and residential neighborhoods but it is quite close to the Chestnut Hill Reservior and a short walk to Cleveland Circle Note that you will need to board the train next to the train driver so that you can swipe your Charlie Card or Charlie Ticket to pay your fare.
