Solid spot in Sharon for some Asian food. Service was great. Place was spotless. Everything was good - not great. But would return when/if in the area.

So good we came back two days in a row during their soft opening! We had the shrimp tempura, tonkotsu ramen, curry pork katsu, and chirashi don the first time. Then we had the Tekka don, spicy tonkotsu ramen, and spicy tuna on crispy rice the second time. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful. The fish was all fresh. Even my picky daughter ate well. So happy to have this new addition to the heights plaza! Before this we'd always drive 35-60 minutes to find decent ramen. This area desperately needed a restaurant like Wabi.

Outstanding food - the sushi and ramen are among the best I've ever had. Super friendly staff!

Cozy little spot with amazing sushi! Fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and every bite was delicious. The warm, intimate vibe made the meal even better. Prices were very reasonable for the quality definitely worth it!

I stopped by this little spot during their soft opening and got there right when they opened. I'm so glad I did! It's such a cozy place with a really chill vibe, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I've never really been a big sushi person, mostly because I'm not into raw fish. but I decided to try their cooked sushi, and wow, it totally changed my mind. Everything was so fresh, full of flavor, and looked amazing too. Honestly, I was really impressed. The food, the atmosphere, the service, everything was on point. I'll definitely be coming back!

There was plenty of parking, and upon walking in the restaurant looked very clean. Since it was close to closing and I had called ahead, we were seated right away at a hibachi table with just the two of us. There was an extremely loud birthday party seated next to us, but that's not the restaurant's fault. While ordering, I wanted to get appetizers and sushi before our hibachi meal, but I felt a little rushed by our server. On a previous visit I remembered there being a Tuesday appetizer special (I thought it was half off), but when I asked, I was told they had never offered that promotion. Food: * Rock & Roll Roll - 8/10: Fresh and tasty, although the crab had a slightly stronger smell than I'd prefer. * Shrimp Tempura Roll - 9/10: Very good, but I asked for extra eel sauce and was given barely a tablespoon. * Steak & Shrimp Hibachi - 5/10: The flavor was excellent and everything was cooked exactly as requested, but the portions were surprisingly small for the price. * Chicken & Steak Hibachi - 5/10: Again, the flavor was great, but the portions were disappointing. We ordered extra chicken, which ended up being a good decision because the regular portion was very small. Each plate had less than a cup of rice, and although I requested extra mushrooms instead of zucchini and carrots, that substitution wasn't made. * Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings - 10/10: Easily one of the best items we ordered. Perfectly crispy with great seasoning and just the right amount of spice. * Scallion Pancakes - 9/10: Crispy and flavorful, but they could have used more scallions and a larger portion of dipping sauce. Drinks: I ordered a lemon drop martini made with tequila, but it tasted like it was made with vodka. I asked if it could be replaced, but that request was declined. They brought me pineapple juice to try to make it more drinkable, but it didn't help, and the drink still remained on the bill. That was definitely a 0/10 experience. Our hibachi chef was fantastic. He was engaging, acknowledged my fiancé's birthday, and honestly made up for the lackluster service we received from our waiter. One thing diners should be aware of is that an 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill, but it isn't verbally mentioned. It's listed as a "service charge" on the receipt, so it's easy to overlook if you're not paying attention. I asked about it to confirm, then tipped our hibachi chef separately because he deserved it. The receipt also includes wording encouraging additional gratuity, which could easily lead guests to tip twice if they don't notice the automatic charge. Overall, the food quality and flavors were still good, and the hibachi chef made the experience enjoyable. However, the rushed service, disappointing portion sizes, drink issue, and lack of transparency about the automatic service charge kept this visit from living up to our previous experiences.

However, when I received the bill, I was charged a $20 service fee, and then I was given three mandatory tip options on top of that. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I understand how service charges work, but I personally feel that a $20 service fee is excessive, especially when customers are still expected to tip afterward. The food prices should cover the cost of service, with the tip being for the server's service. I felt the additional $20 charge was unreasonable and should have been clearly explained before ordering. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be coming back. I would recommend checking the service fees carefully before dining here.

I've been here before when it was owned by the previous owners, but now it's under new management. It's a small restaurant within a sushi bar and a regular bar for alcohol. The server was very nice and attentive, and the food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered, pork fried rice, lobster sauce and a pupu platter for 1. The rice was good flavorful and fried like I like it. The appetizers were good and fresh and the lobsters sauce tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the vegetables in the lobster sauce. If you are in this area, check them out you cannot be disappointed.

Next, when I was ordering, I asked the guy if I could get a side of the pork, but I wasn't getting ramen. No problem he said. The poke nachos were easily the star of the table...honestly to die for. All three sushi rolls were packed with flavor and didn't last long once they hit the table. One had some thick fishy slices but aside from that, wasn't bad. The edamame came out warm and perfectly salted (simple, but done right). The atmosphere was really nice and relaxed, and the service was professional and quick, which is always appreciated when everyone shows up hungry. Definitely a spot we'd come back to when the sushi craving hits again.
