Other non sushi items I ordered were the General Tso chicken, octopus balls, crab rolls, crab Rangoons, duck dumplings, and chicken wings. I was hoping this was another hidden in the south shore, sadly it was underwhelming. Service was prompt, portion was good but food was lacking flavors. Kyoto is a very relaxing vibe with good food. The service was quick and polite. I was seated quickly and attended to kindly. The food was delivered in an appetizing arrangement. It was the Spicey Pork Tonkatsu. Would definitely order again. It was very flavorful and I thought a stellar bowl. It hit the spot. The broth was warm and soothing. The noodles were perfectly cookers the pork was two nice cuts of traditional pork belly like meat. The soft boiled egg is my favorite part and they nailed it. Perfect consistency of the yolk. And it was a very fun Spicy. I would recommend it. The table I provided was clean and spacious and I very much enjoyed the ambience. See my picture of the very cool light display as well. I love Kyoto. I mostly get takeout, but I have done dine in before. The food is really good. My personal favorite is spicy tuna, California roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. For drinks they have milkshakes but when my kids got them they said they didn't have them. They have a bar too. The waiters are really nice, and you could see the cooks making the sushi, and when you get takeout there are hard candy's that my kids love. And the restaurant is nice and clean. Enjoyed everything about this experience. We were looking for Ramen and found this spot on Yelp. We were pleasantly surprised. We got there around 12:30 on a Sunday. Not a ton of people inside. Tons of seating to choose from. We sat at the bar. Our server came right over to take our order. Started off with a Sake that he recommended. If you like strong Sake, you need to try the Funaguachi. We grabbed Gyoza (loved these), Beef Yakitori (soles with 4 big pieces), and the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. The Ramen was delish!! The noodles cooked just right, and there were two nice size meaty pieces of Chashu. Prices were reasonable in all items. This will be my go to spot for ramen. read more

Love their sushi, it's delicious. My grandchildren(9 &13) who beg me to take them to Kyoto will inhale their rolls with gusto. We recommend the following rolls: Mango Dancing , Captain America, Tiger, Tuna Fantasy, Cherry Blossom, and Super Star. We also always order their Yum, Yum Salad which is... you guessed it: yummy. They also have good Poke and for lunch I will pick a Sashimi Bento Box or your favorite two or three Maki Lunch Special. Tea, Sake or any of their cocktails will round up dinner well. On very possibly 50 occasions I have eaten here and/or ordered from here. I think it is the best Japanese restaurant in the area. If I were to judge it solely on other Japanese restaurants in the vicinity, it would get five stars as the competition is slim. A few points: -- The sushi is consistently good. (I've never had any bones in my salmon as is sometimes the case with lesser establishments in the area.) -- They offer brown rice as an option, which is sometimes hard to get in the best Japanese restaurants. -- I've never had a bad experience -- and that's saying a lot as I've eaten here many times. I placed a take out order for lunch today. When I went to pick up, it caught my attention that there was not a single table filled or seat at the bar taken at 1 pm. My attention was then drawn to the lack of cleanliness. The floor needed a good vacuuming. Workers were sitting in the back so it's not as if they were too busy. The first table had a bunch of paperwork thrown all over it. The resister area had piles high of junk on both sides of the register. I just kept wondering about the area which my food was prepared in and what did that look like? I hate leaving poor reviews but I don't know what has happened to Kyoto as I have been a customer for years. Nice little gem here in Mansfield! We were so excited to see both a ramen and an all you can eat sushi restaurant near our home! The place is very clean, spacious, and has elegant decor. The staff are extremely nice, attentive, and respectful. The first time we came, I had the hibachi entree. Large portion and very tasty! The second time we went for the AYCE sushi (offered on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and it did not disappoint. Great variety of rolls and appetizers. We definitely got our money's worth. I thought it is just a pinky color mayo dressing but it turned out to be something else, it has a hint of ginger, very fruity, yet not mayo in it. I called the restaurant again asking them what is in it. She told me this is a house blend with fruit, ginger and more than a dozen of ingredients (of course she did not tell me what they are, lol). Sashimi and sushi suffered from being room temp due to lazy chefs not closing doors on refrigerated section. Rice was way too warm and had no vinegar flavor. So happy I went there again, this time with my baby sis who has been trying to convince me to move closer to her. Went here on a quiet Wed night and the atmosphere was wonderful. I have yet to experience the blaring music like other reviewers had. Appetizer - Tuna tataki & beef tataki delicious! Perfectly seared. My dinner - Miso salmon OMG delicious! YUM! My sister - Halibut dinner (not sure what it was called exactly) but it was topped with some crunchy stuff that was so good! Both me and her boyfriend were trying to steal some. My sister's boyfriend - He had some type of beef dish, I dislike beef so I will keep that out of my review. After dinner we sat around and chatted till late, the owner came over and recognized me from a previous visit. He was very polite and friendly, being kind of tipsy and silly with my baby sister around we demanded he take shots with us. He said he will get us a round, he brought to our table 4 blue label tequila (good stuff!) and we brought it over to our sushi chef and had a toast. The owner then ran off so it was time for us to harass the sushi chef who was cleaning up. We demanded sushi! Hidden off Route 106 in Mansfield, this restaurant is a hidden gem. The Sushi is custom made and fresh. We have come there many times and always come for the Sushi. The selection is amazing and each bite is amazing, clean and authentic. Their recent "One Price Buffet" menu (not food in servers you have to go get - rather a menu you can select what you want to try brought to your table - all for one price - and you eat until you are full). My favorite appetizer is the "Yum Yum Salad" . However the vegetable tempura is also great - it's not over battered, served hot and contains vegetables that you would not normally expect - like Malanga - who would expect this - but soooo good. The best time to go is early lunch or early dinner - the place is normally not packed and you get amazing attention and service before it gets busy. If you like Sushi, variety and want to experiment - try the "One Price Buffet Menu" - you won't be disappointed.
