The first store I called had an operator who sounded like my call and questions were an inconvenience to her. The second store I called wouldn't bring samples to the home. On my third try I was the lucky recipient of a store that not only would bring samples to my home but as an added bonus they were family owned. I was impressed to see they were closed on Sundays for "family time" What inordinate respect I have for an establishment that values family over possible revenue earned on a Sunday. Wait,it gets even better! Carpet Mill sent a wonderful sales person to my home. His name was Chad Campbell . This young man is one in a million! With a personality that could win awards he could have easily sold me snowballs in the middle of winter!!!! To conclude the sale I went into the store to leave a check. Chad could have easily made more money on the sale but instead he told me to wait 5 days to bring the check in because in 5 days the carpeting I chose was going on sale and he would then give me the sale price. (we did not look at carpet at all and I am sure based on their name that is what they primarily sell but this review is for tile purposes only as that is what we looked at) They did have some selection but it was not as wide as we hoped. They also had some hardwood and fake hardwood available as well. When walking in we were not really greeted. I didn't understand we had to go get our temperature taken first and had walked over to go look at tile. So found out after the fact. It was a little bit awkward. The lady then pointed out the tile to us and let us do our thing. I didn't find the people working there at the time to be overly friendly. They were not unfriendly or rude. Just not really warm and welcoming. The selection of tile was relatively small. We did manage to find one thing we liked but as we were just getting going we took note of the price and the item numbers. It was a little more money than we had been hoping to pay. We said we would come back though if we ended up deciding on the tile from them.

Sin (the manager) is one of the most helpful (and knowledgeable on cabinets) people I've worked…read morewith before. We did a full kitchen remodel ourselves and he was super patient with us. I'm sure we are his primary target to do business with but he treated us like we were. Everything did not go perfect, but they were mostly our mistakes and he treated them like they were his fault (even though they weren't). Quality of products: the cabinets were excellent. They aren't the super expensive custom built cabinets, but they were 10 times better than most of the big box stores. The are 3/4 ply all the way around, except the back. The shelves are solid and the soft close hardware is super easy to work. If you are assembling your own cabinets, make sure you ask him questions. The more complicated ones can be a bit of a head scratcher since the limited videos can be less than helpful....I wish I would have had time to make some of the assembly videos for future use. The countertop (quartz) turned out really well. The seams were very small and they matched the veins tastefully. Only improvements I can think they need is better assembly instructions for a few of the cabinets. That's it. Going to AMC might have been our best decision of the entire remodel. Don't take my word for it though, just stop in and talk to Sin to see for yourself.

They sell prefabs which helped us save money instead of buying full slabs for everything. Sinisa was wonderful with helping us pick our material, explaining the process, and fitting as much as possible onto each slab. They came to the house and measured and was very consultative, and eventually they came out and installed. The entire process was quick, easy, and we're very happy with our results! Highly recommend.
